Let Us See How The Dev Approached Hardspace: Shipbreaker
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of April 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Hardspace A new developer diary for Hardspace: Shipbreaker is here to show how the team approached making Hardspace: Shipbreaker and how close it can be to a real thing We all need a good escape from this planet and we have one coming up soon with Hardspace: Shipbreaker as it goes into Early Access on June 16th. That is still a bit of a ways away, but it is something to look at and get ready for from Blackbird Interactive. We all have to have something to look forward to at this point, right? Read More...

Hardspace: Shipbreaker Is Officially Heading To The Consoles Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of March 2020 - 06:00 PM ]
Hardspace No more an assumption, Hardspace: Shipbreaker, will be heading to the current-gen consoles for more to experience the fun of space with Hardspace The speculation can be brought to an end if the PS4 and Xbox One will be getting Hardspace: Shipbreaker on the platforms. It was more or less assumed before and there were a few allusions to it from Blackbird Interactive before, but now we have official word that it will be hitting the systems at some point as well. It could be the same day or it could be down the line as the PC version is still slated to get an Early Access this Summer. That is far from being the final version of Hardspace: Shipbreaker, though, and the consoles do not have the best options to do the same thing. Read More...

Hardspace: Shipbreaker Gameplay Shows Off Some Explosive Fun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of February 2020 - 10:00 PM ]
Hardspace The first real gameplay walkthrough for Hardspace: Shipbreaker is here to show how we will need to use all of our tools to survive in Hardspace Given that Hardspace: Shipbreaker is slated to be shown off at PAX East this week, it was only a matter of time before we had some real gameplay to look at for the game. Not that the last trailer did not have much to offer up, but the one we have now has Trey Smith from Blackbird Interactive taking us on a nice little "walkthrough" of the gameplay experience. I say that, as it does look like we will be more floating around in Hardspace instead of walking. Read More...

Hardspace: Shipbreaker Will Take Us Into The Fun World Of Ship Salvage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of February 2020 - 06:00 PM ]
Hardspace The early access is coming for Hardspace: Shipbreaker with us heading into Hardspace to take down a few space ships and not get too far into debt There truly are video games out there for almost everything and we will soon get to see how ship salvaging will go down with Hardspace: Shipbreaker. That would be space ships for those who are not certain on that, as Blackbird Interactive has their next little title heading toward an Early Access on the PC via Steam. At least, that is, this coming summer so there will be a little bit of a wait for it all. Read More...

Get Ready To Interact With Afterlife This May
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of April 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Afterlife The interactive VR film Afterlife is heading out there in May and we have another new sample of what will be happening in Afterlife’s story A little while back we heard of a new interactive VR film called Afterlife and it piqued our interests even though it did not sound like a game at first. It, more or less, sounded like another film being placed out there in the VR realm from Signal Space Lab and that we would sit as a passive observer to a very grim and dark story. Something that is definitely right in the middle of my tastes even if it did not sound like a true game. Read More...

Virtually Choose Your Own Way Through Afterlife
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Afterlife The first dev diary for Afterlife is here to show us how the team has started to bring this VR choose-your-own-adventure about the Afterlife to life Here we go with a new little twist on the VR and live-action as Afterlife is bringing both of those together to give us an interesting experience with a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure twist. That is at least as it basically sounds with a darker and grimmer style of story tacked on here. I mean, Signal Space Lab is taking us through an "intimate journey through tragedy, grief, and acceptance" in the experience here so… In any instance, we have a new behind the scenes look at how Afterlife is being put together to show that a great VR game can be done with live-action sequences and not all virtually generated stuff. Space Hulk: Tactics Is Announced & Bringing A New Twist To Space Hulk
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Space Hulk A new twist on the Space Hulk franchise has been announced and coming sometime in the near future in terms of Space Hulk: Tactics Another title in the Warhammer 40k franchise is coming here as we have Space Hulk: Tactics announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like the people over at Cyanide Studio is riding the success from their past titles even further as Focus Home Interactive has optioned them to bring this game to us all based off the tabletop game of the similar name. Drop the tactics part off of Space Hulk: Tactics and you will be on point there for what I am talking about. But more or less, it will be the same turn-based title that you could expect but with some twists to make it not a simple port over to the video game world from the physical one. Read More...

Space Hulk: Deathwing Is Getting An Enhanced Edition For Consoles In Q4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Space Hulk While Space Hulk: Deathwing may have released on PCs already, the wait for the console version of Space Hulk: Deathwing continues but will be getting big enhancements Since Space Hulk: Deathwing launched near the end of last year on the PC it has been met with a few mixed reviews but still seems to be holding strong with the core fans of the universe. Something I am going to guess is to the pleasure of Streum On Studio as they are still working on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game so that even more fans can have access to it. I was under the assumption a while ago that Space Hulk: Deathwing was going to hit all platforms at the same time and was a bit let down that it missed the mark. Read More...

It Is Time To Enter The Darkness Of Space Hulk: Deathwing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Space Hulk After a slight delay, Space Hulk: Deathwing is just about to launch and we have a new trailer to get us amped up for Space Hulk: Deathwing's big day on PC It looks like the day is almost here that Space Hulk: Deathwing is going to release. After its recent beta it was hit with a very slight delay but it seems that Streum On Studio hammered all of that out as the game is hitting PCs here this week. Along with all of that, we also have a new trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off all of the winning points that Focus Home Interactive wants us to focus on. Not that there aren't many more but this is just how launch trailers usually roll and it doesn't leave a lot of us wanting…at least unless you don't plan on picking up the game at launch after this. No Man's Sky Has Been Given A Massive Update To Bring You Back
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of November 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
No Man's Sky The first massive update for No Man's Sky has been released and it brings new features and modes to No Man's Sky that will hopefully bring you back to play Given the numbers of things it is probably safe to assume that you are not playing No Man's Sky or you gave up on it shortly after launch. There has been a whole lot of talk going on around all of that and Hello Games has been rather quiet on all of it since the game first launch and players had their outcry. I too questioned the "hype" that No Man's Sky was getting but no one could give me a solid answer on things and then the proof was in the pudding; so to speak. Read More...

Space Hulk: Deathwing Shows Off Some Sweet Solo Campaign Moves
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of November 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Space Hulk A new gameplay video for Space Hulk: Deathwing has released and it shows off about 17 minutes of unedited Space Hulk: Deathwing solo campaign gameplay Up to now we've seen a lot of gameplay for Space Hulk: Deathwing and given that the game is hitting the PC on December 9th it would make sense that we wouldn't see much more until after that date. We would all be wrong though as it looks like Streum On Studio and Focus Home Interactive have opted to give us a nice long bit of gameplay to look at. In fact, we have a nice long seventeen minute video of the solo campaign of Space Hulk: Deathwing that has been left in its raw form without all of the usual clean up to make the game look amazing. Let Vengeance Be Your Song As You Enter Space Hulk: Deathwing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of November 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Space Hulk Another look at Space Hulk: Deathwing has been placed out there to show off how much detail has been placed into each Space Hulk in the game Good news for those fans of Warhammer 40K as we have yet another video here for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off and get you all hyped up for this game to hit the PC on December 9th; the PS4 and Xbox One will see it in 2017. None the less here though, we have yet another look at the game and how much detail that Streum On Studio has put into the game to make it feel "true" to the universe that the game is set in. I figured this would have been a given since the start of it all but who am I to say we shouldn't get more gameplay footage for Space Hulk: Deathwing as we wait the next few weeks to get the game.
