Hardspace: Shipbreaker Is Officially Heading To The Consoles Too

Hardspace

No more an assumption, Hardspace: Shipbreaker, will be heading to the current-gen consoles for more to experience the fun of space with Hardspace

The speculation can be brought to an end if the PS4 and Xbox One will be getting Hardspace: Shipbreaker on the platforms. It was more or less assumed before and there were a few allusions to it from Blackbird Interactive before, but now we have official word that it will be hitting the systems at some point as well. It could be the same day or it could be down the line as the PC version is still slated to get an Early Access this Summer. That is far from being the final version of Hardspace: Shipbreaker, though, and the consoles do not have the best options to do the same thing. So it will be safe to just assume it will all be sometime after this Summer then.

This is not the most shocking of news as Hardspace does seem like something that would work well across the board of platforms. It would have been a bit of a cool treat to find out that it was also going over to the VR space of it all. That would leave one platform out a bit, but it would be nice to have a ship harvesting game in space on the PSVR or PC VR platforms. Maybe that is just me. Maybe that will come down the line for Hardspace as the Early Access flows out there but there is no announcement for that yet. Just the two trailers here that I will assume were captured on the respective consoles there were branded with.
