Restricted By Resistance No More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of February 2009 - 10:16 PM ]
Download the Resistance 2 Cover of Your Choice Just before Resistance 2 came out, Sony had a small vote on their official Blog to see which cover art would be used for Resistance 2. The final retail version of course is the one that won. But what about those people who really wanted one of the other covers for their game? Why won't people think about them? Oh wait, Sony just did. Read More...

Play Mirror's Edge The Way You Want
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of January 2009 - 05:59 PM ]
Mirror's Edge Third-Person View Activated One of the major complaints I've heard about from this game is the fact that you can't play it in any way except first person mode. It is to keep you immersed in the world, but in some instances, it would be nice to have the option to just out to an over the shoulder camera view. Or at least a 3rd person view. Something that just isn't a normal option for the game. Read More...

Try Resistance: Retribution Two Months Before It Comes Out! Here is some good news for you that are addicted to Resistance. Movie Date or PSP Game?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of January 2009 - 05:50 PM ]
Get LocoRoco 2 for the Cost of Just Two Movie Tickets! Given the times that money is suppose to be tight, it would be nice to be able to manage your entertainment money in the right way. Right? No need to shell out the cash of crappy films or films that will make you ball like a little kid who just had their candy stolen from them by an evil kleptomaniac. Unless you are into that over playing an addictive game. Well just to give you an alternative to going to the above mentioned, Sony is placing out LocoRoco 2 for the cost of taking a date to go see a film. Read More...

Living In A 3D World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of January 2009 - 04:38 PM ]
3D Vision With NVidia and Panasonic So you think that the games and movies you watch are 3D. Well at least rendered that way. They are, but your eyes of course still only process it still in 2D. Meaning you don't get any depth processed into your brain. That is where the two above companies stepped up and said "Hey! Lets go one step further." After playing around and testing out these systems, the future of gaming, not to mention just home entertainment will be changing. Read More...

Killzone 2 at CES 2009
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of January 2009 - 05:04 AM ]
Killzone 2 at CES 2009 Killzone 2 at CES 2009 So while palling around the Sony booth at this years CES, I stumbled upon the area where they had Killzone 2 set up. The display there was not all that stand out, but it was a great find to come across. While there, I figured I would take in some of the cinematics of the game. That was until I bumped into Kyle Shubel, Managing Producer for Killzone, and he offered up a taste of the game. So being me, I walked away with my head hung low startled that someone talked to me. [PC Review] Sam & Max: Season Two
by Michael Camacho [ Sunday, 14th of December 2008 - 07:46 PM ]
Sam & Max are back in their second collection of episodes appropriately titled, Sam & Max: Season Two. For those who don't know, Sam & Max are a detective duo, calling themselves "the freelance police", based off of the comic series created by Steve Purcell. Sam, a 6-foot dog in stereotypical detective attire, and Max, a rabbit with a pension for violence, solve crimes without any regard for the law and rarely without conflict. The series consists of references various aspects of pop culture, offbeat humorous dialogue, and quick wit. In Ice Station Santa, Sam & Max journey to the North Pole after being attacked at their office by a large robot, which was tagged as being sent by Santa. Read More...

Only A Year Late...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of December 2008 - 06:32 PM ]
PlayStation fiends finally get a second life One of the big rumors and let downs, so far, for Sony has been their new "Social Network" program, Home. It has had so many rumors about when the mass populace will be able to get their hands on it, it has made a lot of people stop caring about it. To top that off, Sony's very limited "Beta" for the program has also left a lot feeling left out. Don't worry you people, there isn't much that you are missing. Just having the early download. "SACK IT TO ME"...Weekly Answers to the LBP Community's Questions As has been the buzz around the net and the PS Forum boards, moderation on user created levels has been out of control on the LBP servers. Like crazy to the point where some levels that have no offensive materials or copy written materials have been removed. With no explanation as well. To me this is really hampering one of the best features of this game. Read More...

[PSP Import Review] Ikki Tousen: Eloquent Fist
by Michael Camacho [ Saturday, 25th of October 2008 - 05:44 AM ]
Ikki Tousen is a fan service anime, all about breasts, fighting, pantsu, Chinese history and more breasts. So with the PSP release of Ikki Tousen: Eloquent Fist, Marvelous Entertanment brings us a toned downed eroge side scrolling beat-'em-up of the anime.  While you won't see any type of nudity, there are more than enough suggestive images that unlock throughout the game. The game is out in Japan only, and most likely will never see a U.S. Read More...

Biohazard In The Home

Resident Evil 5 Getting PSHome Lounge So If you look at the most recent posting about PSHome, you can see that I am not all that enthused about PSHome any more. It has been way too long of a tease for something that doesn't seem to be well received by Sony fans. But that is not what I am here to bring up. I am here to bring up something that is peaking my interest back in it. That is the specific Game Lounges that will come out within Home and the most recent one announced at the TGS. Read More...
