by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Konami and Kojima Productions have finally brought us more on the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain multiplayer aspect shown at E3 this year Last week at Gamescom we were shown a bit on how we can keep replaying Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain after all was said and done the first time. In a nutshell there are many different ways to tackle the missions and each should give us a bit more time with the game after we beat The Phantom Pain proper. But back at E3 there was a bit of a showing of multiplayer which would be the true way to keep gamers addicted to Kojima's latest title wouldn't it. Well, we have more on all of that as of now and we are here to share. Read More...

Two new trailers for Destiny have been released with each focusing on a different planet we will be able to explore Some of you may be a bit too young to catch the joke in the headline but none the less Destiny will be taking us to Mars and Venus. Review: Metro 2033 Redux
by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 20th of August 2014 - 07:01 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Metro 2033 Redux. It's been over four years since it first released so how well does it upgrade? When we think of HD re-masters of games we generally look at them as being quick cash grabs instead of allowing the developers to truly show off their vision of the game they originally built. Metro 2033 Redux is another title in the mix that may not have seen the full light due to limitations on hardware on both ends of the spectrum. Well 4A Games was given the chance to give it the full polish and I was able to play through Metro 2033 the way I think they wanted to build the game the first time around. Read More...

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Lets Brainiac Have The Whole World In His Pants
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for the upcoming LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham shows off Brainiac and all of his universal domination plans It should be no hidden secret that Brainiac is the main baddie for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. It's been teased in the last game and pretty much the worst kept secret for the franchise if it ever was a secret in the first place. Now it is time to see the evil being in full swing in the latest trailer for LEGO Batman 3. DC fans should be just as excited as I am to get this game and story-line soon on the PS4, XB1, and well everything capable of playing games on. Read More...

See Some New Single Player Battlefield Hardline Footage Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of August 2014 - 09:01 PM ]
A 12 minute gameplay video for Battlefield Hardline has been released showing off the campaign mode and some new gadgets to use Up until now we have seen mainly the multiplayer aspect of Battlefield Hardline. We even had a nice long beta for the damned thing just after E3 this year. Well it would seem that EA and Visceral decided to show off the single player aspect of Battlefield Hardline at Gamescom this year. Of course this was all done via the PC version of the game so we can expect it to look amazing but any who played the beta know that it looks just about as nice on the consoles. But let's move on from that for now. Read More...

See All The Haunted House Jump Scares Of Bloodborne From Gamescom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Bloodborne has been released and it shows off the combat and odd AI for the game Just like the Wild Hunt gameplay I spoke about earlier, here we have the same treatment for Bloodborne from Gamescom. It may not be 37 minutes but it is a nice chunk of change that shows off all the gameplay for Bloodborne in action. As well as a bit on that Regain System that was talked about during the convention proper. It shows that and a bit more on what I touched upon when I saw the gameplay at E3 but we'll get to that in a moment. Read More...

We Have A Few New Batman: Arkham Knight Screens Flying At You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A few new screen shots for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released and show off Batman being Batman… While it may not be more video footage of Batman: Arkham Knight we do have a few new screen shots for the game to tide us over until the next big video of gameplay. Although this looks like it is all about the Batmobile or Batman in full action here in the game. If only there was more to speculate on and think about for Batman: Arkham Knight or the reason it is coming out in February next year instead of October here in short time. But alas, there is nothing more to go with than these images. Read More...

It Looks Like Assassin's Creed Unity Is Becoming More Thief-like
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new bit of gameplay for Assassin's Creed Unity has been released from Gamescom and it looks like there is more stealth action included Earlier today we had a look at Assassin's Creed Rouge's naval gameplay now we have a look at Assassin's Creed Unity and its new features to the franchise. In this case it looks like there are more and more features that are turning Assassin's Creed Unity into what looks like a Thief mod for the franchise. At least since there are new stealth modes, the need to pick pockets, and also pick locks. All things that make sense for Assassin's Creed Unity but just feel like more mechanics added just to be added. Read More...

Let's Regain Some Perspective On The Combat System Of Bloodborne
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Not only was there a new trailer for Bloodborne out of Gamescom but some new information on the combat system and how it differs from other IPs When I first saw Bloodborne at E3 I was under-impressed with what I saw. Visually Bloodborne looked spectacular but as far as gameplay and combat went it looked nothing like the announcement trailer or other bits of CGI that was being shown. What I was expecting was fast paced and not along the lines of Demon's Souls' kind of combat for this PS4 title. Luckily there was a bit more of an explanation for Bloodborne at Gamescom here recently and it is starting to make more sense now. Read More...

Wait…We Will Get To Play As Boxman With The Evil Within's Season Pass?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Looks like there will be a season pass for The Evil Within giving us a few interesting ways to play the game When it comes to season passes for games The Evil Within doesn't seem like it would be a title that would have a need for one. Granted, that is looking at most season passes as multiplayer add-ons for games or bonus maps for said multiplayer but that isn't the case here. Don't think that some form of multiplayer has been shoe horned in for The Evil Within when it wouldn't be needed nor wanted for the horror experience. It is all story or mission based content planned to roll out after the October launch. Read More...
