There Is A Wealth Of New Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Information
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Another gameplay demo for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has revealed a few more gameplay mechanics as well as insight into new characters Fortunately for everyone who wanted to see more gameplay for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain outside of the similar demos from E3 and Gamescom, we are in luck as we have a fresh new look from the TGS. Unfortunately it is all in Japanese so unless you can speak or read the language you are going to have to just go on all of the new and pretty visuals that Kojima showed off for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Don't worry too much as all of it makes perfect sense and you are only really missing out on the dialog for the scenes and slight commentary provided. Read More...

Here Is How Multiplayer Works In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Konami and Kojima Productions have finally brought us more on the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain multiplayer aspect shown at E3 this year Last week at Gamescom we were shown a bit on how we can keep replaying Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain after all was said and done the first time. In a nutshell there are many different ways to tackle the missions and each should give us a bit more time with the game after we beat The Phantom Pain proper. But back at E3 there was a bit of a showing of multiplayer which would be the true way to keep gamers addicted to Kojima's latest title wouldn't it. Well, we have more on all of that as of now and we are here to share. Read More...

If You Haven't Had A Chance To See/Play P.T. Here's What It Is About
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
During Sony's press event at Gamescom 2014 a new IP called P.T. was announced but it was more a tease for Silent Hills Talk about a thrilling and scary title here with P.T. from 7780s Studio. Or as we should all better know it now as Playable Teaser from Kojima Productions. Or as we should all know it even better as Silent Hills from said studio with Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus attached to it as well. Although at its core it is one of the best ways to announce a new title coming to the PS4 from all those great minds and talent. If you have yet to play through the P. Read More...

Is It Butt-Slam Or Butt-Stomp In Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The next episode of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel behind the scenes series is out and covers some of the game's mechanics Here we go with part two of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel "making of" YouTube series. Part One covered how the two studios were handling the workload and physical separation. Part two here looks to cover some of the ne mechanics that will make Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel feel like a Borderlands game but "take risks" Gearbox and 2K didn't want to take in the previous titles. Hooray for being guinea pigs with something the publisher didn't have faith in two times already… Ok, well maybe not something they didn't believe in but something that the people making Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel have had time to perfect to give us that added bonus while playing. SDCC Experience: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Laser Tag
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 31st of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
We wondered what it would be like to enter into the Borderlands and Nerdist gave us that chance with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Las Tag at SDCC San Diego Comic Con was not only filled with gaming/geek news this year but it was also filled with loads of amazing experiences to promote and excite fans all around. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel was not going to be left out of this as the event out there in San Diego was the perfect place to show off how awesome the game can be. Even more so when 2K Games teams up with the Nerdist crew to bring us all a way to play a live Borderlands game via laser tag and some amazing set pieces that looked like they were lifted from the game. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's Realism 'Fools' New Studio
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A screenshot from the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain looked real enough to be used for real news This news report has since been updated but it feels more like a PR spin than truly admitting that they screwed up and used an image from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to shock people into believing their propaganda or at least listen to what they were saying. "News" outlet RT and show SophieCo were recently covering a story on children soldiers and were speaking to a former child soldier when the camera panned by and showed a scene from the next Kojima game. Like I said, it has since been updated to state that they knew it was from a video game but I have a feeling that is just to save face as something like this could ruin what the discussion was actually about. Nerdist Is Taking Us Into The Borderlands At SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of July 2014 - 09:02 PM ]
Just announced as part of the outside SDCC events is the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel laser tag arena hosted by Nerdist Not to be left out of the fun of SDCC in now Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel brought to us by Carl's Jr 2K Games and Nerdist. It looks as if they didn't want to miss out on the fun of having something like The Walking Dead Escape at the convention this year so they are bringing us a Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel themed Laser Tag arena for fans to go crazy Broadway style in. Maybe I should say "go crazy Borderlands style" instead but to each their own. During the entire convention we will all be able to be in the Borderlands co-op via laser tag from 11am to 5pm. Let's See That Texas Vs. Australia Rivalry For Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Check out the new behind the scene video produced for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel We got to see the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel E3 Demo earlier this week so why not hop in and see how all of that was made. Or at least see how part of it was made with the following "Behind The Scenes" video that has just been released to the public and internet today. It's a nice and short little video that shows how Gearbox, 2K Marin, and 2K Australia have teamed up to bring us Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel instead of Borderlands 3. Don't get too excited to see new footage for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel here though as it is filled with all of the goodies that beings like me love, the technical stuff. Read More...

Here Is The 15 Minute Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Demo From E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A narrated version of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel E3 demo has been released for those who may have missed it Last week we had the short "Survival Tips" video for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Now we have all the goodies that we actually were able to play on the floor at E3. I swear 2K is trying to keep the wonderment of E3 going as Evolve received all the limelight there and not their other titles. No matter the case though, they have taken it upon themselves to give us a little slice of the level and mission that they had to show. Spoiler alert, it looks like Borderlands in space with a few new gizmos and elements. Read More...

Here's What People Waited 2 Hours To See For Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel At E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The 'under the dome' E3 exclusive video for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has been released online for those who didn't get a chance to see it If there is one other thing I learned at E3 this year it is that all of you Borderlands fans are pretty damn rabid to see anything for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Case in point will be the below video that fans stood in line upwards of two hours just to see under the safety of a moon dome that took up a third of the entire 2K booth. Granted this was played just before we were all queued up to actually play Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel but only half of the group actually went on to do just that. Read More...
