That's not why we are here though. NightCry Has More Gameplay To Help Get The Game Funded
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
An extended NightCry gameplay 'trailer' has been released to try and help fund the game as the Kickstarter campaign comes to a close It looks like Nude Maker isn't going down without a fight as the NightCry Kickstarter campaign comes to an end. We now have more gameplay to show off for NightCry and how the point-and-click nightmare is going to play if the game actually gets to be made. They are just about a third of the way funded with only six days to go so things are looking as grim for that to happen as when Monica decides to hide in the drier from the Scissor Walker. Watch the extended gameplay and you'll get that little joke even though I really do hope that NightCry does get fully funded. Read More...

NightCry First Gameplay Looks Creepier Than The Short Film
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of February 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for NightCry has been added to the Kickstarter campaign by Nude Maker in the hopes to help fund the game more Last week we had a look at the live action trailer for NightCry, the Clock Tower spiritual successor, and it was okay. It was meant to help set the tone that Nude Maker is going for with NightCry. In my opinion it didn't do a great job as it felt like a really cheesy made for TV short film and nothing that could hold a candle to my memories of Clock Tower. Now we have the first bit of gameplay for NightCry and this is what they should have led with when starting up the Kickstarter for NightCry. Read More...

Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered Is What Quantic Dream Was Teasing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered is being released for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android as well as looks like the big tease that Quantic Dream and Aspyr had for us Remember last week when we brought up the tease that Quantic Dream had for us for this week? Well it turns out my second thought on what was being teased was pretty much spot on as we have Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered coming out tomorrow (1/29/15) for PC, Linux, Mac, and iOS with an Android version to follow sometime soon. So I guess it is much less a tease than it is an announcement with extremely little lead in time for anyone out there to clear out their backlog a bit to give Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered a solid play through. I guess all of the fans of the franchise won't care about something like that though and will just throw their $9. Read More...

Night Cry, AKA Project Scissors, Has A Short Film & Kickstarter Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of January 2015 - 06:01 PM ]
Night Cry, the official name for Project Scissors and spiritual successor for Clock Tower, has a short film and is looking for funding now So we have a new short film for Night Cry, the official name for Project Scissors and spiritual successor for Clock Tower, and while it may not give us much of anything for the game it will most likely be one of the more bizarre things you see today. This game is coming from Hifumi Kono, creator of the Clock Tower game series, and Takashi Shimizu, director of The Grudge so we really shouldn't be expecting anything less right? These guys do have some rabid fans out there after all. Read More...

Lady Hammerlock Is Coming To Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Lady Hammerlock was announced at PAX South 2015 to be a new DLC character for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel starting January 27th Hopefully you Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel fans were keeping a close eye on the news out of PAX South over the weekend as it looks like Lady Hammerlock is joining the rogue's gallery of characters you can play in the game starting tomorrow (1/27/15). For those not in the know Lady Hammerlock happens to be Sir Hammerlock's sister whom he himself has a bit of fear of. I'm guessing jealousy as well as Lady Hammerlock is the heiress to the Hammerlock fortune leaving her to be able to buy all of those cool toys we will be using to freeze and destroy the inhabitants of Pandora coming up soon. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is having a preview event for press but those not lucky to be considered can have a bit of gameplay to view for now Brace yourself as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is having a huge preview hands-on event and we will be flooded with "hands-on" stories from all of the outlets that Warner Bros. and CD Projekt RED have deemed worthy of attending said event. The Handsome Collection Brings Borderlands To The PS4 & XB1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection has been announced from 2K and Gearbox and is bring two of the franchise's titles to the PS4 and Xbox One We apparently wanted it so 2K is bringing the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection to give all of those PS4 and Xbox One players a chance to enjoy the franchise on their new shiny consoles. They've only been out for over a year now so we need more of the old shit rehashed to pay for the future of the development studio and publisher for the Borderlands franchise. Also to allow for a "new generation" of gamers to experience the titles that came out during their generation but that is neither here nor there. Read More...

Dying Light is letting fans download an official 3D printable figurine of one of the many zombies that plague the ill-fated city of Harran If you have a 3D printer, or access to one, then you too can have a piece of Dying Light zombie fun. This is in the way of being able to have your very own, I'm sure to be soon claimed sexist, zombie statue right out of Harran. You don't have to gawk at it on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC no longer as Techland and Warner Bros. has given us the 3D model all ready for printing and painting as we see fit. Read More...

A Better Look At The Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Chicken Hat
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
We have some official screenshots and details for that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain chicken hat that was all the rage Back around Christmas the hopefuls for a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain release date were trolled and shown a new hat that can be used in the game. The chicken hat for those who don't want to go back and read. Some though this was still a joke that Hideo Kojima was running on everyone but it looks like Konami and Kojima Productions have confirmed the hat more so by giving us all some nice new screenshots and a better description of how the hat will be used once we actually get the game. Hopefully this year some time but that is still a great mystery to be solved for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and that may take a lot longer than solving P. Read More...

Project Scissors Gets Its First Live Action Teaser Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of January 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Project Scissors, the spiritual sequel to Clock Tower, has had its first live action teaser released to show the theme and mood of the final game Fans of the Clock Tower franchise may be familiar with the upcoming Project Scissors title coming soon. It is pretty much the "spiritual sequel" to the franchise. How it is only going to be a "spiritual" sequel instead of an actual sequel is beyond me as Project Scissors is being made by the same guy who directed the original series; but that is me just splitting hairs when we don't need to. Especially since we have the first trailer for Project Scissors just a bit below. Read More...

PC Modders have made it so you can play as Hideo Kojima in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes' core gameplay as well as the side missions available I knew it would only be a matter of time before Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on the PC received it first fun mod for the game. In this instance it looks like you can now play all of Ground Zeroes as the mastermind behind the whole thing: Hideo Kojima. If you don't know who that is then why are you even reading this text? He happens to be the creator of the franchise as well as notorious troll for fans of all of his games. Read More...
