Kojima Productions is back in action and it looks like SCE is partnering with Kojima Productions to make their first title a PS4 console exclusive
The dramathon between Konami and Kojima is over and Kojima Productions is back in full swing. In fact they are in such a full swing over there that today Kojima Productions signed and announced a partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment for their first title the developer will be pumping out for us all. That of course means a console exclusive to the PS4 for whatever Kojima Productions' first title may be now that they are a fully independent studio. All of you fans out there can start the cheering now and then sit and wait for anything new to flow out of Kojima Productions on their first title.
Of course as it has been less than a day from now that Kojima Productions signed said deal for Sony to publish their first title there is next to nothing known on what they could be working on. What is known is that it will be on PS4 with a delay to PC. It will not be a new Metal Gear title nor will it be related to Silent Hill at all. Kojima Productions is working on something completely new for us all and nothing in the library already created in the year's past. I am all about new IPs from developers who have a proven track record.

Of course all of the above stated, that does leave a lot of room for us to speculate on what Kojima Productions could be working on right now. In all honesty it could be something based on P.T. if they truly wanted too. Everything built in that game never pointed anyone toward the Silent Hill franchise in the first place and with enough tweaking a whole new horror franchise could come to life from Kojima Productions. That would still fit into the "wholly new" IP idea as well as all P.T. really did is show that the team could make a horror game out of practically nothing. Not only nothing but with such limited content but still made the gaming world freak out.
