by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of April 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week If you are reading this, then you survived one more week and should be looking into celebrating with some video games. If you are reading this and somehow did not survive the week, please email me because I have questions. Big ones being on how you are still going to be playing Cyberpunk 2077 and Death Stranding on the other side of the veil. Also, if horror video games like The Persistence or games like Maneater are popular over there too. Read More...

Minimal Affect Announced & Poking Fun At Your Sci-Fi RPGs
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of April 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Minimal Affect A new RPG, Minimal Affect, is announced and it looks like Minimal Affect will take a parody look at many of those big Sci-Fi RPGs In these times we can all use a bit of humor and it looks like we might just be getting that with the announcement of Minimal Affect for the PC and major consoles. Even if it is something we will have to wait until 2021 to actually get to see, that has not stopped Toadman Studios from giving us a small look at what is to come. Something, that if you have looked hard at things before now, poke a lot of fun at those massive Sci-Fi RPGs out there that may or may not rhyme with Minimal Affect in some way. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/28/16 — 4/1/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of April 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games We survived yet another week in video games and all of the stupidity that comes with April Fool's Day. Yea, there was a whole lot of stupid again but at least you know you can come here to make sure you don't get pranked unlike all those other sites out there. Everything from the news about The Walking Dead: Michonne to the BioShock Collection was all real stuff in the world of video games and not some dumb joke to make you feel dumb. I think we all would have rioted if all the Final Fantasy XV news was a huge joke planned to get us all excited now wouldn't we have? Read More...

Review — The Minims: A New Beginning
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 28th of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The Minims The Minims is an enjoyable point and click adventure and here is our review of The Minims The Minims is the debut, 3D point and click adventure game from Beyond Those Hills. A new indie development studio in Athens, Greece. The game opens on a stormy night, slowly panning up to a single tree located on the rocky cliff-side. Lightning flickered illuminating the scenery as dull orange text appeared at the bottom of my screen. The tutorial prompted me to hold shift to rotate the camera and left click to interact with the tree. Read More...

Review: Mini Ninjas
by Corey Dockendorf [ Monday, 12th of October 2009 - 12:39 PM ]
Let me start out by saying I really enjoyed this game. I was really excited about the game when I first heard about it but as time went on I became concerned it would be too childish. Yes it’s very cartoony and yes when you kill creatures they turn into fuzzy animals, but somewhere in the midst of all that I had a blast playing this game! The game-play is very simple and even the story line is not to complex, so it’s perfect for kids. With that in mind I was highly intrigued by this game. Read More...

Mini Ninjas at E3
by Corey Dockendorf [ Saturday, 30th of May 2009 - 12:21 AM ]
To say that I am excited about Eidos' new game Mini Ninjas is an understatement. I think I'm going to get some smoke bombs and adorn my office in samurai swords and kendo armor. One of the games that Eidos' will be debuting as a playable version at E3 is this little gem. Mini Ninjas is the story of a tiny ninja, named Hiro, and his big adventure against an evil warlord, and his quest to save the animals that have been changed into evil samurai, bringing harmony back to the world. From the screen shots it looks like you will be able to navigate through three different characters as well as take control of different animals. There are a few trailers with some game play as well as story and characters on the website. Read More...
