BioShock Infinite Delayed For Some Polishing?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of December 2012 - 05:35 PM ]
It has been let loose that we will all be waiting an extra month for BioShock Infinite to hit the market. The new release date being March 26th 2013. The reason, to add more polish to the game before it gets released to the masses. Hasn't this been the excuse before? BioShock Infinite was originally slated to come out back in October but was pushed out and then there was silence about the game. With the amount of polish and bug checking Irrational Games is going to be in a world of hurt if there is even one mediocre flaw in the game. Not from myself but the gaming community at large. Under The Radar: Painkiller HD
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 13th of November 2012 - 10:29 PM ]
The original 2004 PC classic known only as Painkiller has received the HD treatment. I'm not talking the "crappy HD" kind either. Announced back at this year's E3, the HD remake of Painkiller is out right now! for PC. XBox 360 and PS3 owners are going to have to duke it out for another couple of months as their versions will be available come January 22nd, 2013. I loved the original Painkiller with its tons of insane, over-the-top weapons, like the Stake Launcher or the double barreled Shotgun with a liquid nitrogen alt fire. I spent many hours pushing my crappy desktop PC to its limits and beyond while playing Painkiller and every single moment was worth it. Read More...

The Story: Hey, it's your lucky day and you receive an amazing book that details EVERYTHING that has ever happened in your avatar's life. I mean everything. Read More...

Review: Wreck-It Ralph
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of October 2012 - 10:41 PM ]
For the last few months we've all been bombarded with ads and trailers for Disney's upcoming Wreck-It Ralph. A film that looks like it will do to video games what Toy Story did to toys. But how well is the question? Well sit back and enjoy our review of Wreck-It Ralph. The Story: 'Wreck-It' Ralph is the villain of a 'retro' game in an arcade who is pretty much crapped on for being the villain. He hates it. Who wouldn't? Read More...

Incoming Flame War From Devolver Digital
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 29th of October 2012 - 11:01 PM ]
All this week Devolver Digital is bringing the flame wars ablaze with their "Warfighter-Fighter" campaign. A 50% smear campaign and 50% promotional campaign. So starting... Now all that you have to do to be entered for a chance to win a free copy of Serious Sam 3: BFE, is to tweet a message about the stagnant modern military FPS genre with the hashtag #SeriousSam3XBLA or for those of you who don't use twitter there is also the Serious Sam fan page where you just have to post on their wall doing the same. Here is the official post from Devolver Digital: "During this busy season of video game releases the team at Devolver Digital realize that not every game will live up to expectations. One such game has been Medal Of Honor: Warfighter - yet another military shooter where cover is king and most folks spend their time peeking out from behind a wall or strategically place concrete barrier. If you own Borderlands 2 and have a Twitter account, then you should know by now that Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox, and Gearbox Software tweet out Golden Key codes that can be redeemed using the "SHiFT" program on Borderlands 2. These codes last for about three hours and have a "once per account" use. Golden Keys are used to open a special golden loot chest in Sanctuary. The higher your level, the better the loot. A Beast Of A New Trailer For BioShock Infinite
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of October 2012 - 06:24 PM ]
While some of us were busy participating in a 24 hour game-a-thon for Extra Life and the Children's Miracle Network, Irrational Games and Take Two decided they would let loose their new trailer for BioShock Infinite. Either it was planned or not, it definitely hit just right and brought the title back into the lime light. Not that it was left out too much, but outside of the pre-order updates news has been sparse for Infinite for quite some time. Take a look at the new trailer and a few stills from it below. PETA-mon Or Pokémon Black & Blue
by [ Wednesday, 10th of October 2012 - 06:23 PM ]
Many of you know the group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). You know their missions, their methods, and you have your opinions on it. Good or bad, you can’t deny their ability to latch onto trends like a starving leech. Video games seem to be their latest target. They’ve created parody games before, including Cooking Mamma: Mamma Kills Animals, Super Tofu Boy, and Mario Kills Tanooki. Finally, 16 years after their initial release, PETA is taking a swing at Pokémon. Their latest game, coinciding with the release of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, is Pokémon Black and Blue. Today started like any other. I signed into XBox Live, went to see what was new on the marketplace, and found the Medal of Honor: Warfighter Multiplayer Beta ready for download. I enjoyed the last Medal of Honor so much that I decided to give it a try. Once again I am finding it tough to tear myself away from the game even to write this. With subtle tweaks to the style, and larger changes to load outs, I am scouring to see everything this game has to offer. Read More...

Review: Drinking Quest
by Fred Buell [ Friday, 21st of September 2012 - 11:46 PM ]
Drinking Quest is a game type that is not typically reviewed here, but it's one that definitely fits our gamer requirement and I think it's time we bring in the table-top gamers and video gamers into one niche. With that out of the way, Drinking Quest is a game that seamlessly blends your traditional table-top RPG and drinking games inside of a card game with various subtle references to pop culture from over the years. You can choose one of four characters each with various stats, weapon proficiencies, and a special ability card. There are four "quests" to a game and the hero with the most XP wins the game. Review: Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of September 2012 - 04:05 PM ]
Here we go with another Transformers game. They are seriously coming out like Call Of Duty titles now. One every year and hey why not, obviously we like them enough to line the pockets of the developer's and publisher's pockets with greenbacks. So how does Transformers: Fall of Cybertron fair? Let's see. Story The Autobots are serious in trying to leave Cybertron this time around and are getting there Ark ready to go. Wouldn't you know it that those damned Decepticons want to stop them and do a great job at it. Read More...
