As 2011 comes to a close, it's easy to point out that once again the games industry has had an incredible year of releases. So many in fact, it would be simple to say that games pushed in to 2012 are okay because we already have so much to play. While I do not necessarily disagree with that statement, I think about the games already slated for next year that I want to play - i.e. BioShock Infinite, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Tomb Raider and XCOM - and I'm wondering when I will find the time to get into the things that were pushed back from 2011. Did you hear that? The loud grown that just flooded the world as all of the Mass Effect fans just heard that Mass Effect 3 is going to be delayed until 2012. Yea, it sucks for the fans, but with how the game looks to be shaping up, I am completely sure that the wait will be well worth it. That is supposed to be the case when they push things back isn't it? Well I think we all saw this coming. Mass Effect 3 revealed its debut trailer at the Spike TV VGA show this weekend. This was by far one of the most anticipated announcements for the VGA's, with BioWare running a Facebook and Twitter campaign leading up to its debut. Mass Effect 3 is slated for a holiday 2011 release, but as we all know that can change. This is the final chapter in the Mass Effect trilogy, focusing on Commander Shepard and his battle against the Reapers, except this time they've decided to hit home and invade planet Earth! A new DLC is "coming soon" for one of this year's major titles. Of course I am talking about Mass Effect 2. Today BioWare has announced the Overload DLC for XBox 360 and PC. When sent to investigate a Cerberus research base that's mysteriously gone silent, Shepard arrives to find Geth overrunning the base. The sole survivor Chief Scientist Archer, pains a dire picture: an experiment to fuse a human volunteer with a virtual intelligence created a hybrid “VI overlord”. The rampaging VI has already attacked three other Cerberus bases, controlling any technology it finds in an attempt to break free-and unleashing Geth across the planet. Read More...

Well it is all over now folks. Michael will finally have his wish as a new DLC will be coming for Mass Effect 2. In this DLC BioWare will be introducing Kasumi Goto, the galaxy's most enigmatic and cunning master chief, err I mean thief. Not only will players be able to recruit Kasumi in new missions, players will be able to to utilize her special abilities as a member of Commander Shepard's squad. After the original Mass Effect, Bioware had a tough job on their hands. They made an excellent game, but one that was hampered by complaints from the players.
