5. Mass Effect 3 - While I admit that I'm not sucked into the universe as much as some people, I enjoy the series and look forward to its epic conclusion. Mind you, I'm not entirely disappointed since I have yet to finish Mass Effect 2. |

4. The Last Guardian - I'm putting this on here because everything I've seen for this game has blown me away. Team Ico always puts out an amazing, quality product and The Last Guardian seems to be no exception. I'm hoping that this year's E3 will have this title brought to the forefront once again to dazzle us. |

3. PlayStation Vita - While this may not be a game, the Vita is a beautiful-looking piece of hardware that sports a 5-inch OLED screen, a gyroscope and front and rear touch. More than just flashy tech, the Vita may be the last great gaming-specific handheld device ever made. I will say that even with the launch lineup for software, this wouldn't have piqued my interest if I hadn't found out that there will be a new version (sequel?) to Persona 4 on the platform. |

2. Journey - thatgamecompany's (flOw, flower) next project brings forth the true meaning that the "journey is more important than the destination." With a gorgeous art style and thatgamecompany's amazing ability to apply a silent narrative that moves you, Journey looks to be another thought-provoking title that will affect you in ways you may not have known a game could. |

1. Torchlight II - The delay of Torchlight II stung the most of all. Just sitting down to play at E3, thirty minutes disappeared and I didn't want to leave. Even without the multiplayer aspects, just the improvements alone (indoor/outdoor environments, weather patterns, etc.) has the "itch" to play just needing to be scratched. Runic Games has another monster hit on their hands… I just need it in mine! |
What games/items having been pushed into 2012 have you drooling? Drop some comments below and let Aggrogamer know.
Honorable Mention - Diablo III - I couldn't in all good conscience put this on the list because I do not believe anyone actually believed this would drop in 2011. I'm sure this will be great title, but whether it's 2012 or 2014, Diablo III will be done when it's done.
