EA Cancels Command & Conquer FPS After Realizing That Game Already Exists
by Ben Brody [ Thursday, 2nd of October 2008 - 01:15 AM ]
Okay, so not many of you may remember the 2002 game Command & Conquer: Renegade but it was CNC's first, and so far only, foray into the FPS genre. In a statement released by EA on Tuesday, it was revealed that the reason for the cancellation was due to poor quality. Here is the full statement of it's cancellation by EA's Mariam Sughayer: "EA has suspended work on Tiberium effective immediately. Read More...

Capcom's Gamer Day Alright, so, I wasn't able to make it to this years Capcom convention. A little upset since it took place in my home city. It was an extremely closed group of the press and 5 lucky Capcom fans that got to go in and check everything out that Capcom has coming up. I'm a little let down I didn't go, but I have the stories to share with ya. The guys at one of the best Game sites, Kotaku.com, has all the stuff we want. Read More...

This Fall, October 2nd 2008 to be exact, anime and manga fans of Ikki Tousen (Battle Vixens in the U.S.) can beat-'em-up on the go.  Ikki Tousen: Eloquent Fist, or EF, for short will make it's debut on the Sony PSP as a side scrolling 2D Action/Beat-'Em-Up game.  The anime best known as fan service due to it's featuring of girls battling out in dresses and short skirts, as well as featuring many ecchi moments such as clothing being literally ripped to shreds and gratuitous panty shots. The game will feature animation sequences reproduced from the CD and look very well done on the PSP's small screen.  And yes, just like in the anime and manga series, the game features a Costume Destruction System, so as more damage is taken, the less clothes the character will have.
