Batman During SDCC Batman: The Enemy Within has been announced and will continue the story that Batman: The Telltale Series started for us all So many things received the announcement out at SDCC and it sucks that Batman: The Enemy Within fell through the cracks over here. Especially given that the first episode is set to drop on August 8th next week and the fact that this IP has been one of the better ones in Telltale Games' basket for a while now. At least it has been for me and I have been wanting more of this Batman for quite some time now that the season ended for the other one. I just want to see where it all goes and how all of the choices will alter this brave new world for the character and all of the villains I made or took down over the course of it all. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was totally a recovery week in video games for us over here and the industry in whole. Two of the bigger cons for the industry have now wrapped and we have a few more off in the near future and here we site continuing the coverage out of both of those major events. That's not to say that is all we have to cover for video games as we did get to see a whole lot more for Hellblade this week as we head toward the release date for that, but of course there was still a lot from Call Of Duty, Wolfenstein II, and Marvel Vs Capcom fresh out of SDCC and there is still plenty more to come. Marvel Vs Capcom New gameplay for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite was shown during SDCC as well as a new level for Marvel Vs Capcom and new fighters Not the biggest of surprises out of SDCC this year was another announcement for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite in terms of characters, levels, and Infinity Stones that we will get to use in the game. I say it wasn't much of a surprise given the fact that both Capcom and Marvel are well known to be at the convention every year and have such a strong presence that it would have been a letdown for there to be nothing. With Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite still launching on September 19th for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, they still have a way to go in terms of showing it all off so it would make perfect sense we'd see some new characters, levels, and stones here. The Evil Within A new bit of gameplay for The Evil Within 2 has been released as well as the pre-order bonuses for The Evil Within 2 to help us along It looks as if all of the teasing for The Evil Within 2 has been put off and now we are going to get some solid new looks at the game as we head toward October 13th here. At least for now as it looks like Bethesda has for us a new look at the work that Tango Gameworks has done with a new gameplay trailer. Well, in-game trailer as it doesn't look like much of the mechanics of The Evil Within 2 are being shown here but more of the general look and feel of some of the actions to be taken in the game. Titanfall 2 A new trailer for Titanfall 2's next update has dropped to show off the new Titanfall 2 maps and modes that will be coming in just about a week We've all been waiting patiently for the next big update for Titanfall 2 and it is just about to land on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC on July 25th. Not only has the wait been long, or at least seemingly so, but it looks like Respawn is going to be bringing a whole lot more to the game to keep the Million and more players out there happy. Marvel A new VR title, Marvel: Powers United VR, has been announced and it will place you in the body of your favorite Marvel character soon It looks your dreams of actually getting to be one of your favorite super heroes is a bit closer as Marvel: Powers United VR has just been announced and aims to do just that. Well between the development from Sanzaru and Oculus they are going to give us a full VR experience where we will get to hop into the shoes or feet of said heroes and take on all kinds of dangers in a virtual space. Marvel Vs Capcom Another character has been added to the Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite roster and now Jedah is joining in the Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite fun Here we go with yet another character added into Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite straight out of EVO 2017. Not only that, but a lot of new gameplay for some other characters that Capcom has yet to give us; even in the demo that is currently out there. Agents Of Mayhem Another new team for Agents Of Mayhem has been revealed and it shows more of the Agents Of Mayhem characters to wreak havoc with Here we go with even more of the roster for Agents Of Mayhem getting filled out as another team for the game has been announced and shown off. This means three more of the characters that Volition have been working on for this over-the-top title here. Some of which have been seen a little bit in the past for Agents Of Mayhem but more or less are just here to show off just a bit more of the twelve character cast we will have. Splatoon 2 The first fifteen minutes of Splatoon 2's gameplay is here to view as we head toward Splatoon 2's official release date In just over a week Splatoon 2 will be launching on the Nintendo Switch. July 21st to be completely exact and there hasn't been a whole lot of gameplay to have been enjoyed or really solid views that we've been able to capture. That is of course until now as we have the first fifteen minutes of the game to look at as Nintendo gears up for the big release of Splatoon 2. Shadow Of War It's time to hear who will be joining you on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's quest, aurally, & then maybe meet the Shadow Of War VO cast at SDCC We can mark this under the "Not A Huge Surprise" list, but Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be at SDCC this year and in tow will also be the voice cast for the game that has recently been announced. Of course some of the people from Monolith Productions will also be there to talk about the game, but given the way SDCC is, it will be more about the big names linked to the game and seeing them.
