Driveclub has been pushed back once again but now there is a solid date of October 7th. Yes, that means that Driveclub won't be coming to the PS4 here in early 2014 as stated before. Apparently the game just will not be ready until about the first anniversary of the next gen console's launch. Now the date is October 7th if you sit through and watch the gorgeous trailer that was released showing the new date in all of its kind of glory. Good news for all of you race fans or those who want to see how pretty a racing game can be on next gen. Even though we are still days out from E3 week, Konami has taken it upon themselves to "go first" with the showcase of what they have coming in the next year. This isn't anything new for Konami and will probably stay the same for the coming years. The entire "event" went live at 10 am PST and as of this posting just about ended, but we have it in its entirety in case the real world had you pulled away from you computers. The more I see of Deus Ex: Human Revolution the more I really can't wait to get my hands on it. I mean it looks very impressive from everything we've seen including the new visuals below. But what is really snagging my attention is the overall theme of the game, "Should We Play God?" This being a concept I love to play with every day of existence only in this case it is with human genes, genetics and physiology. All the meaty parts of the human form. Up until now we have been given pre-rendered scenes and clips to show off Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Those clips did have some gorgeous visuals no doubt. I mean look at the studio and publisher for it, it's kind of what they are known for. But in the end, none of that did all that much to show off what we will actually get to control during the game. Earlier, we got to see some new screen shots for Deus Ex. Really nice shots. In fact, to me they looked like they were taken from another hi-res trailer we would be getting in the near future. It only took two days for Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution to sink its hooks into me. I became addicted like no other game I’ve played before. But as much as I love Civ Rev, there are so many little things that could make it so much better. Before I get to the suggestions though I should mention, I’ve never really played any of the Civilization games that preceded Revolution so it’s entirely possible that the features I want to see were part of the formula prior to the franchise’s makeover. However having said that I found a lot of similarities between Civ Rev and a far less known PC game called Starships Unlimited. They are essentially the same game except where Civ Rev is focused on Earth and using historic civilizations, Starships Unlimited is set in a fictional universe and utilizes a variety of alien races along with humanity.
