A new rumor has been cropped up around Rise Of The Tomb Raider from the guys over at The Know placing Rise Of The Tomb Raider's PS4 launch in late 2016 Nothing gets the morning juices flowing like a good old fashioned rumor and this one here is for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. This time it is all over the release date for the game. No, not the already announced release date of November 10th that Crystal Dynamics is aiming to hit for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of the game but about when we might be seeing Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the PS4. A new teaser trailer for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been released to get us all pumped up for what Microsoft will be showing for the game at E3 All last week we were teased with something new for Rise Of The Tomb Raider and here we have it. It's…another tease for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. All along the same veins as the DOOM tease we had from Bethesda a few weeks ago, it looks like Crystal Dynamics has given us pretty much the same thing. A new Augmented Reality Game, Night Terrors, is trying to raise funds to try and bring real but fake terror into our homes Earlier this week we had the devastation that Silent Hills was canceled so let's get back on a horror highlight with Night Terrors. This would be an augmented reality game that is looking to hit the levels of terror that the prior title mentioned was claiming as well. The big kicker here is that Night Terrors won't be using virtual world interactions to bring the terror. Telltale Games has announced that they will be teaming up with Marvel for a game series in 2017 Time for the internet to explode as Telltale Games is teaming up with Marvel to bring us all a game series based on something based in their universe. That being Marvel's universe and not Telltale's The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, or Minecraft universes that they are currently working on. There is now clue yet as to what could be in the works between the two but given the history of Marvel and Telltale we can hopefully expect greatness. Crystal Dynamics will be taking us on a lovely romp through Russia in the next game so we know it is going to be filled with all kinds of snow and dangerous locations for Lara to get into trouble. Another hidden Batman: Arkham City Easter Egg from Calendar Man has been solved by some eagle eyed and brilliant fan of the franchise If you though that you have 100% completely found all the hidden secrets of Batman: Arkham City or just found everything then you are going to be in for a shock. It looks like there is a new Easter Egg from Calendar Man that pretty much everyone has missed up until RockSteady Games began posting hints and clues to something missed. It only took three years now but it looks like there is a 13th conversation from the villain outside of what was required to get the Trophy/Achievement for talking to the character over the course of the year. Announced during a presentation at NYCC a Mortal Kombat X comic book was announced to be coming from DC Entertainment We still have to wait until April 14th of 2015 to get our hands on Mortal Kombat X but we may only have a few months to wait to start getting some of the new story for the game and its new characters. It was announced at NYCC that DC Entertainment is working on a Mortal Kombat X comic book that will cover all the ins and outs of what lead up to the game's main story line. A new developer diary for Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris has been released from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix to better explain the game If you are still upset that Rise Of The Tomb Raider will only be hitting one console next year then let's have a good look at Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris as that is supposed to be the alternative set up for PS4 and PC players in the interim. While not exclusive to those platforms, Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris is coming to Xbox One too, it is something for all non-Xbox players to dig into and help fund other versions of Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Over the weekend there was a new FAQ posted to the official Rise Of The Tomb Raider Tumblr to try and explain what is going on with the platform exclusivity A few weeks back there was a huge stir as to if Rise Of The Tomb Raider was ever going to see the light of day on anything other than the Xbox One or Xbox 360 come the holiday season of 2015. In a recent interview Phil Spencer confirmed that the exclusivity deal for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has a time limit During the recent Microsoft press event at Gamescom it was claimed that Rise Of The Tomb Raider was going to be an exclusive for Xbox next year. This of course upset A LOT of gamers out there, like me, who fell in love with how Crystal Dynamics gave the franchise a re-boot. Tomb Raider: The Ten Thousand Immortals the prequel novel to Rise Of The Tomb Raider and sequel to the Tomb Raider reboot has been announced If you had a lot of burning question at the end of the Tomb Raider reboot and what led to the events in the trailer for Rise Of The Tomb Raider then you may be in luck. DK Publishing has announced that there will be a new novel that bridges between both games called Tomb Raider: The Ten Thousand Immortals. The horror game The Evil Within is getting a prequel comic from Titan Comics. The Evil Within isn't even out yet nor is it a large franchise yet and we are already getting a prequel comic book to go along with the game. It looks like Bethesda and Tango Gameworks are really behind this project to have green-lit this comic from Titan Comics. That would be the people behind the Doctor Who comics and the DmC comic.
