Left Alive Shows Off More Of The Ravages Of War
by Julia Schoebel [ Tuesday, 11th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Left Alive A new trailer for Left Alive is here just before TGS to show us just how war rages on in the world of Left Alive with the protagonists It has been quite a bit of time since we last heard anything about Left Alive and I had almost forgotten all about this new title from Square Enix. Given that the last major update we had for the game was also during TGS last year, it does feel like it fell to the side of things to make way for other titles in their wheelhouse. No matter what is going on over there, we do have a new look at Left Alive to remind us that the game is coming and that we can expect to see it on the PS4 and PC in 2019 at some point. I hope that also means we will see something truly out of TGS for it besides this small trailer we have now. Read More...

Death Won’t Come Easily In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Sekiro A new trailer for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is here to take us through a few new looks for Sekiro as well as some of the verticality we can expect While we may have to wait a bit for this year's TGS to fully kick off, we do not need to wait to see something new for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice that will be shown off out there. That is right; we have a new trailer to look at for this title from FromSoftware that caught a lot of attention out at E3 this year. I am guessing you figured that out as you clicked in here anyways and are most likely looking for more on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice instead of just random tidbits like that. Read More...

Have A Little More Of A Look At How Big Hero 6 Will Invade Kingdom Hearts III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of September 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts We have a new look at Big Hero 6 in Kingdom Hearts III from TGS and we have word that we will have a new Kingdom Hearts VR experience this holiday season This is not the first we have heard about Big Hero 6 joining in on the fun of Kingdom Hearts III. We heard about it a while back when Square Enix did their thing at E3 this year, but we have not truly seen or heard more than that until now with the latest from TGS. We now have a new look at this new world in the Kingdom Hearts universe and how we will be interacting with the world and its characters. At least in a little bit more than we have had before. Insomnia: The Ark Is Launching In September Now
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 6th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Insomnia The dieselpunk RPG, Insomnia: The Ark, has a set release date now and we can expect to be playing Insomnia: The Ark before then end of September We have a final release date for Insomnia: The Ark set down for us now and we can all expect to be able to play the game on September 27th now. That is not that far out for this new Dieselpunk, Sci-Fi RPG that Studio Mono has put together with HeroCraft. I am sure there are reasons for this, but this now places Insomnia: The Ark, a smaller title, well up against many larger titles that will be flowing out here over the course of the coming weeks. Fly Through One More Look At The Web-Swinging Of Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Spider-Man One more video for Spider-Man is here to cover all of the ways that the team feels they perfected the web-swinging in the upcoming Spider-Man The reviews for Spider-Man have been pouring out there and so far it looks like a lot of our concerns can be placed aside. That is if you want to trust their words on the game so far and not keep losing your mind off missing puddles and such. No matter how you want to slice it right now, it looks like we have one more look at the web-swinging system that Insomniac Games has built to help us ignore some of those concerns and get ready for September 7th here. Hopefully, you have pre-ordered your copy of Spider-Man so you are fully ready to dive in with your PS4. Read More...

You Will Have To Get Into The Assassin’s Mindset For Hitman 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Hitman A new ‘How To Hitman’ video is here to show us how to get into the assassin’s mindset and use the new features of Hitman 2 to our advantage More for Hitman 2 has stalked its way out into the open to give us another look at some of the updates coming to the game to place us in that assassin's mindset we will need to always be in when we are playing. At least in the fictional way as I am sure that IO Interactive is not trying to raise a whole lot of contract killers out there. It is already a dark world that we live in here and we do not need Hitman to bleed over. Read More...

Anthem Will Let You Tell Your Story In Their World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Anthem Two new concepts for Anthem have been shown off in terms of story choices in the world of Anthem as you play out the designed story New gameplay for Anthem is here and this new bit shows off the two new elements of the game that BioWare is working hard on to expand the game further than a space-age shooter. In their true manner, it looks like we are going to be able to craft our own story in the game now and expand out their world. This is at least as it sounds here even though it more or less equates to Anthem having a branching narrative with our choices have consequences along the way. Read More...

Photo Mode Is Coming To Spider-Man On Day One Of Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man We have a look at the photo mode that is coming to Spider-Man as a day one update as well as a look at another Spider-Man villain It would a be a weird thing if a Spider-Man game did not have a photo system in it of some sort given the franchise and character's history with snapping photos in general. We have seen things like it from the past but it looks like Insomniac Games is giving us a new version of the Photo Mode we have come to enjoy in many other games. Even if this one does not fully fit in the world of Spider-Man the way it should, it will be bringing us some new and interesting ways to look at the world and share. Read More...

Welcome To The Jungles Of Colombia In The New Location For Hitman 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of September 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman A new location for Hitman 2 has been revealed to us all that is take the Hitman franchise to Columbia to stalk our prey Get ready to head deep into some new jungles in Hitman 2 as the next location for the game is announced and slightly shown off. It looks like Agent 47 will be stalking the jungles of Columbia in the new game when it drops and be able to use all of the things you would expect in said jungle. At least that is the assumption here with what IO Interactive has brought us here today as it just shows off the location more than anything in terms of gameplay mechanics. We will obviously get to use the environment to our advantage here in this area of Hitman 2, but I am curious as to what we will have hidden about besides our victims. Read More...

There Is Even More Action In The City That Never Sleeps For Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of August 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Spider-Man We have a new look at how the action for Spider-Man was set up and captured as well as a timeline on when all of the DLC for Spider-Man will come at us It looks like we have a one-two punch worth of updates here for Spider-Man just over a week out from its launch on the PS4. One is a bit of a behind the scenes look at how Insomniac Games set up all of the action for the game, including that massive Raft fight from E3, and the other bit is to tell us when we can expect all of that DLC after September 7th. If you were worried that you were going to have to wait a long time after completing Spider-Man's main story, then you will be glad to know that we will be deep in the webs of the DLC almost as fast as the game is coming up. Almost… To kick things off here, we have a look at the motion capture and storyboarding techniques the studio used when trying to recapture the fun and feel of Spider-Man in the game. Read More...

Meet The Horde Up Close And Personal In World War Z
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
World War Z A new gameplay video for World War Z is here and it focuses on the massive and dynamic swarm simulations that World War Z will have within Love it or hate it, World War Z the film gave us a great visual on how the undead swarms can move and attack in a realistic style. There is little doubt on that and I am guessing this is why Saber Interactive has placed some great focus on this part of their game and engine they are working with when it comes to the video game version of it all. There is something terrifying about seeing hundreds of undead sprinting at you and you have limited weapons and ammo. That is why I am glad to see it a huge focal point in World War Z here for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...
