Baldur’s Gate 3 Has Sadly Been Delayed One More Time
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of September 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Baldur’s Gate We are going to have to wait a bit more for Baldur’s Gate 3 as the early access for Baldur’s Gate 3 has been pushed out one more time Here we go with some sad news as it looks like Baldur’s Gate 3 will be pushing the release date out yet again. Given that the game is still in active development by Larian Studios, this is not the biggest of shocks as it is the way it is going to go. More so as this is not even a final build for Baldur’s Gate 3 that we were waiting for but an Early Access to it all. Even more of a reason why we should always expect these kinds of things. Deathloop New gameplay for Deathloop is here to give us a bit of a taste on how Deathloop will play as well as a winning strategy to take It may feel weird after some other news about Bethesda and Microsoft cutting a deal, but we have more gameplay for Deathloop to show off how this game will look on the PS5 and PC when it launches. It is still slated for those platforms only and Arkane is still working on it for next year at some point sot here is that news. The bigger thing here is that we have some new gameplay for Deathloop that kind of highlights a bit better on what we will actually be doing in the game. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this was a fairly huge week for all things video games was it not? We had the final information drop for the PS5 and then all of the issues with gamers trying to pre-order. Thankfully, that was all balanced out with all of the news for Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Resident Evil Village here. That and we had another of the many video games on our list to review with Kingdoms Of Amalur: Re-Reckoning going up on the site. Read More...

Final Fantasy XVI Is Officially Coming To Us All Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy The next Final Fantasy game has been announced and it looks like we will be seeing a Final Fantasy XVI in the near future It looks like Square Enix is already gearing up for the future of the PS5, as we now have the announcement for Final Fantasy XVI coming to the system. It is not clear if it will be a 100% console exclusive, but given how the companies play together, I will not be surprised if it is that way. What I am a bit surprised on is that this was not the Final Fantasy I was hoping to see get the announcement as some of us are still waiting on the second episode of the other huge title that they put out and left us hanging on so far. I am looking at you FF7 Remake. Read More...

That is not to say that it was not spectacular to look at, but just as we expected over here from Insomniac Games which did not disappoint. Before we dig into that, though, it looks like there is a bit more to all of this too as Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available on the PS4 as well and there will be an Ultimate Launch edition of the game that will house the last title in the line all upgraded for the new console and with all the DLC mixed in. Star Wars: Squadrons Shows How The War Has Never Ended
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of September 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Wars A new cinematic trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons give us a feel for how these dogfights might feel in this slice of Star Wars The war is still on in Star Wars: Squadrons and we have a little more proof of it all with the latest video we have today. A nice new look at how some of the dogfights will flow in our minds and not truly in the gameplay of it all. Not that Motive Studios is not going to be making it as fun as possible, but there will be a lot missed in the mix of it all given how games usually go. That all said, we do get a new slice of the Star Wars fun here with how things can feel in it all. Read More...

Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest Tries To Offer Up The Tabletop Freedom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of September 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Werewolf The next developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest explains how close to the Werewolf tabletop experience we might get Balancing the freedom of choice in Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is going to be a huge task to tackle based on what we normally get in the tabletop version of the IP. This is always a tough thing to bring into the digital space based on games that generally are only limited by the imagination of the player. It is usually why we only see titles based on these kinds of IPs that give us a direct path to go down instead of a true branching one that is the norm. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with one of the shorts weeks of video games that we have not had in some time. Baldur’s Gate 3 Is Mixing Up Some Of The Cinematics With Interactivity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of September 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Baldur’s Gate A new breakdown for Baldur’s Gate 3 has let us all know that this Baldur’s Gate will not only give you options in your scenes but also the crowds Here we go with an interesting twist for Baldur’s Gate 3 just before it all heads into Early Access on the 30th. It looks as if the cinematics in the game will not just be some nice movies we get to watch that Larian Studios has put together. Instead, things look to be a bit more dynamic and can alter the events of the game amongst other things. Not that groundbreaking when you hear about it at first, but the version we are going to be seeing in Baldur’s Gate 3 looks to mix things up to the point where players outside of the scene can interact with things and possible ruin your character's day. Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Multiplayer Is Coming Hard
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The first showing for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer is here and brings with it all the usual Call Of Duty multiplayer fun Even though we all knew it was coming, here we go with the reveal for the multiplayer aspect of Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that will be coming with the game. It sounds odd to state that we need a reveal for this as it is kind of the staple of the franchise, but here we go. I see how someone can take it as a reveal that Treyarch is giving us a look at what will be in the multiplayer for this Call Of Duty, but it does not truly go into much of that. Read More...
