Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with one of the shorts weeks of video games that we have not had in some time. Baldur’s Gate A new breakdown for Baldur’s Gate 3 has let us all know that this Baldur’s Gate will not only give you options in your scenes but also the crowds Here we go with an interesting twist for Baldur’s Gate 3 just before it all heads into Early Access on the 30th. It looks as if the cinematics in the game will not just be some nice movies we get to watch that Larian Studios has put together. Instead, things look to be a bit more dynamic and can alter the events of the game amongst other things. Not that groundbreaking when you hear about it at first, but the version we are going to be seeing in Baldur’s Gate 3 looks to mix things up to the point where players outside of the scene can interact with things and possible ruin your character's day. Call Of Duty The first showing for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer is here and brings with it all the usual Call Of Duty multiplayer fun Even though we all knew it was coming, here we go with the reveal for the multiplayer aspect of Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that will be coming with the game. It sounds odd to state that we need a reveal for this as it is kind of the staple of the franchise, but here we go. I see how someone can take it as a reveal that Treyarch is giving us a look at what will be in the multiplayer for this Call Of Duty, but it does not truly go into much of that. Read More...

Little Nightmares Fifteen minutes of gameplay for Little Nightmares II is out there to show us how the two characters will meet and survive the world of Little Nightmares We had a nice little tease of gameplay before for Little Nightmares II during Gamescom and now we are back with a whole lot more lifted right from the event. Well, given that it was all online it is hard to say it if lifted, but it is the turn of phrase we are going to use here to help promote the gameplay from Tarsier Studios. Werewolf The next developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest offers up a look at how the team is using their past to help build this Werewolf game It is easy to know that Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is going to be linked into the greater universe that the World Of Darkness has set up. It kind of feels like it has to be that way as of late with how media has been going as of late, but this one has a long history that Different Tales is fully respecting. Mario Kart Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is looking to bring Mario Kart into the real world with some new ways to race the cars It looks like we will soon be able to put some of those old Mario Kart debates to bed with the announcement of the upcoming Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit coming to us all on October 16th here. That would be the hope more or less with the new game from Nintendo, but I have a feeling it is only going to add more with how this one is changing things up. Not only will it be bringing us a new game to play, but it also is bringing the race into the real world with actual karts to race around instead of just in the virtual world. Read More...

Star Wars New gameplay for Star Wars: Squadrons is out there with a new look at one of the missions that will expand on the Star Wars saga to come We wanted more gameplay for Star Wars: Squadrons and now we have it with our first look at how some of the single-player is going to flow in the game. It should not be a huge mystery that it is going to flow about as much as expected here as Motive Studios is making a space dogfighting game set in the Star Wars universe. The bigger sell is going to be the fact that we will get to play on both sides of the conflict to see who really is the bad guy out there or why some of the choices were made along the way. DOOM We have a release date for the first part of the DOOM Eternal DLC as well as a look at how the DOOM Slayer will be back again Here we go with the release date for the upcoming DLC for DOOM Eternal called The Ancient Gods. Well, at least the first part of it all as it looks like id Software is breaking it up into parts here instead of one big expansion mixed in. I am sure this is to get it all out to us as quickly as possible while DOOM is still on our minds. No matter the case, we will see this all drop on us October 20th for those that have the Year One Pass or Digital Deluxe editions of the game. Read More...

Little Hope New video for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope shows us more of the story for Little Hope and how the Shared Story gameplay will flow Get ready for a whole lot for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, as we have about twenty-five minutes of gameplay to look at for the game to hep highlight the Shared Story mode in the game. This would be a mode that Supermassive Games brought to us in the last installment for The Dark Pictures where you will be able to play the story with one other person online. Aragami Aragami 2 is announced and heading for all the big layers to continue the story of Aragami past what we had before I did not think it was coming and then Lince Works slipped it out there with the announcement for Aragami 2. The follow up to the stealth title we had a while back on the PS4 and PC. Now we see it flowing back out there and heading to the PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X as well in 2021. Not only that, but it looks like Aragami 2 will be picking up the story we had from before and jumping forward one hundred years to show off how the clan is still fighting to survive. Read More...

Little Nightmares We have some new gameplay for Little Nightmares II here to show just how dark the Little Nightmares universe is going to go There is still a whole lot of time for Little Nightmares II to keep flowing before February 11th, but we have some new gameplay to help sell us on the game a bit more. It is a title that seemed to come out of nowhere swinging from Tarsier Studios the first time and they are not holding back here again when it comes to the creep factor of the game. Mafia More gameplay for the Mafia: Definitive Edition is here to give us even more to look at as the Mafia game is further evolved into the next-gen As if we did not have a load of gameplay for the Mafia: Definitive Edition before, we are back with another little snippet of gameplay to take in. This time it comes from Hangar 13 directly and not video from someone else playing the game. Not that it would look any different as far as visuals go, but what we have here is more of the story and how some of those new technologies will help make the story of Mafia pop just a bit more. We will know more certainly on September 25th when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC but from what we have here, it is looking more and more like a current-gen title if not a next-gen one. Ratchet & Clank New gameplay for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is here to not only show us more for Ratchet & Clank but also the power of the PS5 With the PS5 almost here and still so little known about it, it is nice have some of the games that will be launching with or around the same time showing up as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. All part of the opening for this year's virtual Gamescom, we have a new treat for the game besides just the announcement that it is coming from Insomniac Games. Werewolf A new trailer is here for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood to show how we will go full Werewolf against men in mechs Here we go with more for the Werewolf line of games with this time being toward the Earthblood game now. This is the one that is coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC next year from Cyanide Studio. One that has been hyped up for a few years now and looks to be in the final stretches of things to get us a different aspect of the universe.
