Review — The Minims: A New Beginning
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 28th of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The Minims The Minims is an enjoyable point and click adventure and here is our review of The Minims The Minims is the debut, 3D point and click adventure game from Beyond Those Hills. A new indie development studio in Athens, Greece. The game opens on a stormy night, slowly panning up to a single tree located on the rocky cliff-side. Lightning flickered illuminating the scenery as dull orange text appeared at the bottom of my screen. The tutorial prompted me to hold shift to rotate the camera and left click to interact with the tree. Read More...

The Vampire Magician Of Hitman Is Coming While We Wait
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman A new set of challenges for Hitman are coming as we are forced to wait a bit longer for the teased Elusive Targets that were supposed to hit Hitman already By now you have most likely burned through all of the main missions in Hitman and have been dabbling in the Escalation Contracts and waiting for those Elusive Targets to show up. This is the main bit of content that will help hold us all over as Io Interactive wraps up the next "episode" for April. Sadly though it looks like the wait is going to be even longer for the Elusive Targets as they have been delayed until around the time of the second episode's release but that doesn't mean that Square Enix isn't trying to get us more Hitman in the meantime. Take Your Homefront: The Revolution Guerrilla Warfare 101 Class
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Homefront A new trailer for Homefront: The Revolution has been released and it is set to prepare us for Homefront's single player and co-op with guerilla warfare Looks like we have another class to attend and this time it is learning all of Homefront: The Revolution's guerrilla warfare we will need to employ to bring down the KPA. That is that we have another new trailer from Dambuster Studios for the game and it shows off some new gameplay features that we will have on top of the normal sneaky tactics we usually use in FPS titles. Some of which make Homefront look like another huge home-run for Deep Silver to claim when the game finally launches on May 17th this year. Read More...

Ratchet & Clank's Story Will Be A Bit Different Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank A new story trailer for Ratchet & Clank has been released and it looks like it will be a bit different than the Ratchet & Clank film's story but for good reasons Up to now the joke about Ratchet & Clank's story has been that it is a game based on a film based on a game. Insomniac Games has been very upfront about that in all of their promotions and interviews so there is no surprise there. But it looks like things may be a bit different in terms of story between the game and the film that the game is based on. Hopefully you can follow along with all of that as plain and simple the PS4 very of Ratchet & Clank's story is going to deviate in quite some ways than the film's. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Overwatch A new CGI video series for Overwatch has debuted and it looks like we are going to be getting to know all of Overwatch's characters more starting with Winston Unlike all of those other "get to know a character" video we have had in the past for Overwatch it looks like this time around we have something slightly new. It looks like Blizzard is kicking off a new video series for the game and now we are getting to see more of the story behind some of the characters in a CGI manner. Yea, this isn't any new gameplay for Overwatch but it is a nice and fun look at some of the story behind the characters we are all going to hopefully grow to love when the game lands on May 24th. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Red Dead Redemption 2 Rumors about Red Dead Redemption 2 being in production have popped up again and claim we could hear about Red Dead Redemption 2 being official at E3 Here we are six years after the first title launched and we have more Red Dead Redemption 2 rumors popping up. In fact it is pretty much the same rumor we had last year that Rockstar Games never let pan out but yet again we are seeing we are seeing it. Just like before rumor has it that we will get an announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 at E3 this year with a release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC for some time in 2017. Review — Hitman — Paris
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hitman We sit down and review Hitman — Paris. This is the first episode of Io Interactive's latest addition to the Hitman franchise. Here's our review on how they did. The wait is finally over and the multi-delayed Hitman has been released. Well at least the first full episode and the prolog that many of us had a chance to experience during the beta that Square Enix put on for us. That was a nice taste but the maps were small and tight and it is time to see what Io Interactive has in store for us as we move forward with the rest of the content coming for Hitman. Here's our review of the first "episode" of the game just for you to read. Read More...

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Is The New Name & Making Humans In The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellblade Hellblade has a new name as we are introduced to Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and also shown how the dev team is making a virtual human in the gameplay It looks like we have a new name to settle on for Hellblade as it looks like a subtitle is going to extend it out just a bit further with Senua's Sacrifice. If I had to make an educated guess I'd say this is all based on Ninja Theory finally figuring out exactly where the story of the game is going and what we can expect when it finally hits the PS4 and PC sometime this year. Another great sign as I know I have been excited for Hellblade to come out since I saw the first bit that they ended up scrapping to improve upon. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
The Magic Circle Sandbox game The Magic Circle is heading to the PS4 so even more players can get a feel for game design, or lack thereof, in The Magic Circle's case Maybe you have heard of The Magic Circle already and that will put you ahead of the curve a bit. As the title says here, The Magic Circle is now heading to the PS4 and of course we have a brand new trailer to show off with the announcement. That would be the game title of the next title that David OReilly and team are working on. Gameplay For Vampyr Has Made It Out Of The Coffin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Vampyr The first bit of gameplay for Vampyr has made it online with a bit of a developer overview to let us see how Vampyr may run in its final form So far we have been given very little for Vampyr and at most it has been concept art and screenshots. Little is still known to the mass public on what Dontnod is building here outside of the very basics. It is a vampire game set in the era of the early 1900's in London. Also our choices on whom we kill are going to matter. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Overwatch The release date for Overwatch has been revealed and it looks like fans of Overwatch will get to have a bit of an early access to it Looks like the wait for Overwatch is going to be coming to an end here soon. None the less we can all be happy to see Overwatch landing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 24th. New Hitman Trailer Gives Us A Feel For How Grand Maps Will Be
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Hitman A new trailer for Hitman has been released and it shows off how large the maps of the first two missions of Hitman will be as well as diverse Since Hitman is just about a week out from launch it looks like it is time to beat the dead horse again in terms of how large the maps are going to be in the game. This has been something that Io Interactive has been touting since the first time we heard they were making another addition into the franchise and it is back yet again. The real bonus here being that the Season Premiere trailer for Hitman does give us another look and the maps do look rather large based on all of that. Read More...
