Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Gets Its Own Free Running Mode
by Duke Searles [ Tuesday, 20th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Black Ops 3 A new gameplay mode for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been revealed in the latest livestream and this one adds a full free run mode for all to play in Black Ops 3 As if there wasn't going to be enough to do in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 with the campaign mode and the multiplayer modes, it looks like Treyarch is adding in yet another mode for all of us to enjoy in the way of Free Run mode. If that sounds a little familiar then you might be thinking of the entire Mirror's Edge gameplay or that of Dying Light. The difference here is that it is more of a "multiplayer mode" than anything for Black Ops 3 which adds yet another to the mix when it launches on November 6th for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. This Week In Video Games 10/12/15 — 10/16/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It has been one of "those" weeks in video games hasn't it? I personally blame it all on the releases of the current video games and the news of other major video games like Friday The 13th and Styx that keeps all of the other news as fluff and filler instead of anything solid. I mean we do have Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3, Halo 5, and Fallout 4 releasing as well but when we have other great titles out there already why waste the shelf space now for when we can wait until there is nothing else in the limelight? Ah video games… Speaking of all of those video games in the lime light right now, outside of the below list of video games in the news to read through we are still working on a few reviews for titles that have already released or will be releasing in the coming weeks. Halo 5: Guardians Gameplay Is Already Making It Out To The Public
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Halo 5 With the release of Halo 5: Guardians almost here it looks like some gameplay from the beginning of Halo 5 has made it online for all to see Given that earlier this week we had the launch trailer for Halo 5: Guardians get released to the world and review copies of the game making their way out there it was only a matter of time before we had some real gameplay to see. In fact, and I am hoping that 343 Industries does take them all down, I have a feeling that we are going to get all kinds of Halo 5 videos here in the coming week to help sell the game. Not that the Xbox One needs any help selling Halo to the fans but I am sure that Microsoft will take whatever is offered up. Read More...

Resident Evil Is Getting Yet Another CGI Feature Film
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Resident Evil A new CGI feature film for the Resident Evil has been slated for a 2017 release to make sure we are all inundated in Resident Evil lore All because we didn't ask for it directly it looks like we are getting another Resident Evil film. Another one that isn't part of the live action films and of the CGI persuasion as Capcom has given us in the years past. This animated film goes above and beyond that part of the Resident Evil franchise and will be the third of its kind in this aspect. All because we never asked for it and someone at Marza Animation Planet thought it would be an amazing idea as well. Read More...

Get Ready For The Season Finale For Tales From The Borderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Tales From The Borderlands The season finale trailer for Tales From The Borderlands has been released with all of the accolades and sneak peeks at Tales From The Borderlands' last episode in the season As with all good things like Tales From The Borderlands' first season, they have to come to an end at some point. It's even more depressing when it has to happen when Telltale Games dis such an amazing job of bringing Gearbox Software's franchise to perfect life in their storytelling medium with Tales From The Borderlands. It is one that I wish could keep living on without a break but it looks like the last episode will be hitting all of the platforms it is on next week. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Has A Few New Martial Arts With Cybercore
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Black Ops 3 A new cybercore trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 shows off the new abilities we will be getting in the Martial tree for Black Ops 3 Here we go with another branch of the Cybercore abilities for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 and this time the focus is on the Martial branch. This would be the new melee or general attacking abilities that Treyarch has set up for Black Ops 3 from the looks of it as almost all of them are linked into that and whatever armor/exo suit you may be wearing. Effectively you can turn into the Invisible Woman or Hulk out is the main overview we have here for the new abilities in Black Ops 3. Don't believe me? Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game Gets Announced As Summer Camp Gets The Machete
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th Friday The 13th: The Game has been officially announced and is looking to bring all of the Friday The 13th fun into video games with a 1v7 multiplayer game You may or may not remember the news back in January of this year about there being a Friday The 13th game in the works. It got slyly announced a bit and also shared many of the same qualities for another titled called Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp. Both were an Evolve gameplay kind of set up as one person took on the role of the slasher, or Jason in the aspect of Friday The 13th, and the rest as the counselors. Read More...

Evil Overshadows All In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's Zombies Mode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of October 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Black Ops 3 A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's zombie mode has been released and it gives us all a little more into the dark pasts of these new characters for the Black Ops 3 mode With each new bit for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's new Zombie mode it is still a bit jarring to me to see that the mode is not fully following the same path as all of the other iterations of it. Each before Black Ops 3 was generally set in the era of the core campaign or the core multiplayer area for the game. Treyarch doesn't look to be doing that here as, well as we've seen before, Black Ops 3's zombies will be set in the past of sorts and not in the future-ish setting that we already know is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC here on November 6th. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Halo 5 A new trailer for Halo 5: Guardians has been released to not only help sell Halo 5 but give us all an overview of the grander story I doubt you need any reminder that Halo 5: Guardians is just over two weeks out from launch. Just in case you needed a reminder then there you go. Halo 5: Guardians will be out for the Xbox One on October 27th. You have been reminded. If you need more of a reminder then you may also be happy to know that there is also a new trailer to show off Halo 5 outside of the overused TV promo you have been flooded with for quite some time now. This Week In Video Games 10/5/15 — 10/9/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of October 2015 - 11:02 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There goes another week in video games in the bag. Or case if you will. Things were all over the place this week and there were so many 'leaks' out there in the world of video games. I'm looking in the direction of Street Fighter V here and a bit at Star Wars Battlefront. Although the beta is out for the latter here so it's not really leaked any more. The first still very much so. Read More...

Someone Is On A Serious Mission Here In Just Cause 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Just Cause 3 A new gameplay trailer for Just Cause 3 has been released showing just how serious, or not-so-serious, the missions in Just Cause 3 will be Serious may not be the correct word to use here for Just Cause 3 as nothing I have ever seen says that we should take the events of the game as anything but good, old fashioned fun. That doesn't change the fact that we have a new gameplay trailer for Just Cause 3 right from Avalanche Studios to look at in all of the explosive glory that comes along with it. It also serves us all another great reminder that Just Cause 3 is coming this December 1st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

12 More Classic Songs Join The Guitar Hero Live Track List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of October 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live Twelve more tracks have been added to Guitar Hero Live and while not all classics songs they are coming to Guitar Hero Live from past titles in the franchise Time to make the track list for Guitar Hero Live a not so round number of 121 now as we have twelve more tracks to add to the list today. Quite a hefty starting catalog for FreeStyleGames to get in there and I'll take it. Especially since these new Guitar Hero Live tracks have all been pulled from previous Guitar Hero titles that Activision still has the rights to. Read More...

Tales From The Borderlands' Season Finale Has A Date For Us All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of October 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Tales From The Borderlands The final episode for Tales From The Borderlands has been dated and the first episode for Tales From The Borderlands has been made free for all The time has come and that time is to bring us the end of the first season of Tales From The Borderlands. It's been one hell of a ride through the story driven world that Gearbox and Telltale Games have set up for us but it looks like the end is nigh. The final episode for Tales From The Borderlands will be hitting us on October 20th and we will be lost for a while as we wait for the second season, hopefully, to be announced and on its way. If only all good things didn't have to come to an end and Tales From The Borderlands was just an ongoing series with no limited number of episodes… Along with the announcement of Tales From The Borderlands' fifth and final episode for season one also comes a new trailer and the announcement that the first episode of the season is completely free for everyone to enjoy no matter the platform. Check Out The Sick Abilities Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Gives With Cybercore
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Black Ops 3 A new video for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 shows off the Cybercore abilities in the Chaos tree just so we can see how we will be taking enemies out in Black Ops 3 We all know one of the themes in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the cyber-modifications that our protagonists and their antagonist will have gone through or continue to go through in the game. Treyarch has been very forthcoming with all of that as part of the theme for Black Ops 3. We've seen some of these enhancements used in the past but with the most recent video that Activision has let loose on the world we get a better feel for all of the new abilities we will get in Black Ops 3 here.
