The Surge With The Surge just about to launch we get a new cinematic trailer for The Surge as well as a look at one of the boss fights in the game We are almost here as The Surge launches next week on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It has been a fun ride so far with a lot of questions still needing answers from Deck 13, but now that we are a few days away it seems like a moot point as we'll be able to answer them all for ourselves here. Of course that doesn't help with the whole figuring out our thoughts on The Surge before it launches, but I am sure that Focus Home Interactive would rather us just take the plunge and hope for the best instead of knowing everything and opting to possibly not picking up the game. Call Of Duty A new bundle, the Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles, has been announced and aims to bring all of the Call Of Duty Zombies fun in one place It's fun to see how a little Easter Egg in an older Call Of Duty title has progressed over the many different versions and developers over the years. In this case we are talking about the Zombies mode that was slipped into World Of War by Treyarch and has now become a staple in all of the versions of the game that Activision pays to come out. Darksiders New gameplay for Darksiders III has just been shown off and it gives us a look at how Darksiders III has progressed from the past titles Earlier in the week we saw that Darksiders III was going to be a thing like many of us had hoped. Usually when it comes to game reveals that is where everything is left and then we have to wait a bit to actually see any real gameplay. At least when we all get a reveal like we did for Darksiders III that only held a cinematic trailer and nothing else. The Surge A behind the scenes video for The Surge has been released and it gives us more insight into all of the things going on in The Surge that we've questioned In just under two weeks we will be playing The Surge on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC depending on your choice. While we've seen a lot for this action-RPG title so far, I know I've been left with quite a few questions that have been left unanswered by Deck 13 in a few different arenas. One of them being the main focus of The Surge's combat in terms of the limb severing system. Friday The 13th In Friday The 13th: The Game we will get an expanded story for the franchise & we get to see all of Friday The 13th's Jasons we will slay with If you've been following along with Friday The 13th: The Game fairly closely then it should come as no surprise that Illfonic has placed into the maps a few hidden little secrets to be found or dug up. Sure this could go towards all of the items and parts of the map that players could use to survive or kill each other in the maps, but what we are talking about are the hidden little gems that actually expand on the overall story of the franchise. Darksiders Darksiders III has been officially announced after many Darksiders III leaks popped up in preparation for the full reveal of the game All of those hopes and prayers have been answered as Darksiders III has just been announced by THQ Nordic and is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. Yes, this is not a drill or more wishful thinking based on the remasters we saw recently from Gunfire Games and such. The Surge We have more gameplay for The Surge and this also gives us all some more of the combat for The Surge just a bit before the game's launch Here we go with more combat for The Surge to get us all ready for its release on May 16th. This is something we've seen a whole lot of over the last few months and weeks as Deck 13 has been showcasing one of the bigger features in the limb severing system they have in the game to make everything insanely deadly. That is at least one of the goals here for The Surge and hopefully it will make more sense when we get the game in our hands as I am still a bit confused on if it is a targeting system or just the luck of the draw kind of system based on where you hit. Friday The 13th We have another huge information dump for Friday The 13th: The Game that shows off the final versions of the counselors in Friday The 13th & other updates There is still no solid release date for Friday The 13th: The Game but that doesn't mean that the updates are going to stop rolling in at all. Gun Media is still waiting for all of the certifications to go through for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game and it looks like there was a whole lot that has yet to have been shown off from that build that Illfonic has put together. The Surge It is official that The Surge has hit gold status and it also looks like The Surge will be getting some PS4 Pro updates at launch and soon after I could have sworn this was news before but none the less it looks like The Surge has officially gone to gold status for us all. Pretty much locking in the release date that we have been given before from Deck 13 for the game, but now there is no take backs. It is set and final and now we can all sit back and wait for The Surge to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 16th. It's done, set, and getting ready to be packaged up and shipped out. Read More...
