Recently Chris Ashton from Turtle Rock Studios revealed that there will be a single-player campaign in Evolve It would seem that I was a bit confused before when it came to Evolve and the play modes of the game. I was under the impression that it was a multiplayer experience through and through. Early on the 19th of June, Konami and Hideo Kojima showed off the closed doors demo for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Good news for all of you who didn't want to take the time to read through my Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain impressions from E3. While At E3 I Got To See The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It I was lucky enough to see The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at E3 2013 and again this was one of the titles I was able to close out E3 2014 with. This time around CD Projekt Red had another year to build and expand on everything in the game. You should have seen some of it if you watched one of the press conferences online or in person. Here's My Take On It Here on the site we have had mixed reviews and wants for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Some are excited to play the new game. Others are questioning why 2K and Gearbox are even trying to milk us for more money. None the less I was personally able to put hands to the game during E3 and I was able to see if the new additions and locations will make Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel feel like the game that the developers are trying to make it be. Hearing that I would be able to play it at E3 got me excited as all of the trailers and gameplay footage up until now has had me extremely interested. So I made the trek over to the 2K booth and settled in to see how the game plays and if Evolve can live up to the hype that I have seen flung around for it. Here's My Take On It Destiny was a huge push during last year's E3 and every other gaming event that took place up until now. Of course that meant that Activision and Bungie again had to come out strong with something to show for the game as we are only months out from the release and there are only so many more gaming conventions to show off at. While At E3 I Got To See Dragon Age: Inquisition In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It If there was an award for longest demo at E3 The Phantom Pain would win the gold but Dragon Age: Inquisition is a strong silver medal. A solid 35 minute of the game was shown off in a nice air conditioned booth and it showed everything to how massive the world of the game is going to be, to how your choices will impact more than just the narrative been the physical world as well. While At E3 I Got To See Alien Isolation In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It So this is more of a two-for-one instead of just hands on for Alien Isolation at E3. There was a nice long showing of the game in a demo driven by one of the developers at Creative Assembly but then shortly after there was a bit of a challenge map that let us all experience the horror of Alien Isolation first hand. While At E3 I Got To See Mortal Kombat X In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Mortal Kombat X was teased and rumored long enough before E3 that it was no real big surprise to see it play out on the big screens during the press conferences. By no means am I saying it wasn't a treat to see but there was no real shock and awe moment as the game was fully announced. But that is really all that happened on the big screen leaving much to be desired beyond the long lines of fans waiting to see what Ed Boon had in store for us; not to mention the two new characters promised to be shown off during the event. Here's My Take On It If there was one title I was looking forward to seeing more of at E3 it was Batman: Arkham Knight. That was even before the epic showing during the Sony press conference and the other awesome gameplay snippets. Here's My Take On It If there was one game at E3 that made an impression before I even got to play it, it was Battlefield: Hardline. Unlike most games on the show floor where there is just a themed room/area for a game; there was a whole experience for Hardline at the EA booth. All who were playing had to be "processed" and moved along into a semi-interactive experience.
