For You Nintendo Fans
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of March 2008 - 03:52 PM ]
The 3D Mario Wii Case Ok, I know we got a load of fans for the Nintendo here. Hell I am too, but not as much as this person. I mean, I just went to DecalGirl.com and ordered my Skull Case cover for mine. I just wish that I was half as talented as this person or had half the time. Bravo on this this. Doubt it will fit smoothly anywhere, but it does look friggin' cool. Now, here' something I'm curious about, has any one else here gone this crazy with tricking out their machines? Read More...

by Alyssa Porter [ Tuesday, 11th of March 2008 - 08:04 AM ]
As we all know, Super Smash Bros. Brawl recently released in North America and hundreds to thousands of Smash Bros fans waited eagerly outside of their local GameStop’s to get themselves their copy. On Nintendo’s official North American site they explained "A very small percentage of Wii consoles may have trouble consistently reading data off this large capacity disc if there is some contamination on the lens of the disc drive. The Nintendo DS and YOU!
by [ Monday, 10th of March 2008 - 05:26 PM ]
When browsing through the various console sections at the local Best Buy, a gamer is likely to pass up the Nintendo DS, chalking it up to child's play given the exorbitant amount of games based on children's movies for the system. And after all, who can really trust the credibility of a handheld that comes in PINK? However, this fangirl is about to tell you exactly why the DS is the most multi-faceted system available on the market, and one of the best investments you can make with your hard earned gaming allowance. To me, the Nintendo DS (and when I say that, I mean my DS Lite) is like my Ipod. Read More...

by Trina [ Friday, 7th of March 2008 - 05:29 PM ]
TV star Gemma Atkinson in the UK and Play.com Live host revealed to the Sun that while she loves the Nintendo Wii, it hurts her chest. Speaking to the Sun, the TV celebrity said: "I win every time I play the Wii. I'm the champion at the bowling game. I love it because all the family can get involved so it's great to play on a Saturday night if everyone is round." But here's where it gets odd. "I have to wear TWO bras when I go running at the gym so I'd love to design a range of sports bras for big-breasted women, something sexy not plain. Read More...

Issues With A Bully?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of March 2008 - 10:02 PM ]
Rockstar Apologizes For And Is Working On 360 Bully Now that I've suckered you into the article, time to mess you up. I'll try not to mess you up as bad as Rockstar has made it seem that they have messed up. Apparently their testing and QA department didn't catch all of the bugs in the game before release. Let me list them for you: Serious frame rate issues Audio glitches Freezing At least those are the ones reported thus far. Sam Houser had this to say about the whole things to boot. Read More...

THQ Has Spirit, How About You?
by Trina [ Thursday, 6th of March 2008 - 05:57 PM ]
THQ announces All Star Cheer Squad for the Wii and DS Okay get ready to roast me, but I am completely intrigued by THQ's announcement of All Star Cheer Squad for the Wii and DS. As a former cheerleader, I can't help but giggle as I imagine people cheering with Wii-mote in hand in the their living room. Players will enter into the world of competitive cheer leading as seen in Bring it on. "With the explosive growth of the girls gaming market in recent years due to the continued success of Wii and DS, our ongoing goal is to stay at the cutting edge of that success by bringing a brand new property for this segment to these popular systems," said Jim Huntley, director of global brand management, THQ. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of March 2008 - 05:49 PM ]
SSB:Brawl Biggest Tournament At GameStop I know I've talked about it the few times I've been in the ShoutBox and once on the Forums, but here is the release event to end all release events, at least for now. But it looks like they are promoting even further a game that has already hit over 2 million pre-orders already. Awesome right? Well you will get to play the game before the actual US street release, at least for a few hours before you get to take it home with you. Read More...

Now That's A Proposition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of March 2008 - 05:03 PM ]
Romantic Hacks The DS To Pop The Big Question Now here's something positive coming out with all the negative press the gaming community gets. And Gods know we need it. But in any instance, a man decided to find another unique way of popping the question to his betrothed. He hacked into the DS and created a version of Bejeweled and sent it to his love. She opened it, and start playing the game only to find that after racking up a certain score, the screen shifted and a grouping of blocks in the shape of a ring dropped onto the screen. That's when he actually asked the big question. Read More...

Double Axe For Wii
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of March 2008 - 06:17 PM ]
Guitar Hero III Gets New Pack So you might have heard or been mixed up in the fiasco of the Mono-sound issue with the Wii version of the game. If you signed up for the replacement disc, I'm sorry for you since that doesn't seem to be going to well, at least from what has been reported to me. I hear it is a long turn around time to get your disk shipped back to you. So you might want to pick up another game in the mean time to fill the void of the wait. No More Heroes is a good choice, but I digest. Read More...

F*ck Your TV Guide!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of March 2008 - 07:20 PM ]
Wii Gets A New Channel Currently the main information is out of Japan, as usual. Yes yet another thing they get before us, but what's new right? Now this is a free download onto the Wii as with the other channels it offers up. What does it do? Really it is just a TV guide on your Wii, or at least that's what they want you to believe. The truth is that it is just that with a few extra bells and whistles added ontop of it. First, You will be able to search around for your shows using the comfort of the WiiMote instead of going to the TV Guide itself or the TV Guide Channel on your Cable/Satelite provider. Read More...
