New gameplay footage for Final Fantasy XV's chocobo races has sprung up and it lets us see how Final Fantasy XV will handle them It's been no secret that Final Fantasy XV was going to be bringing back these beloved creatures and that we were going to get to ride them. Hells, Square Enix even made mention before that we were going to get to race them again as we have in past version of the franchise. Mentioned but had yet to fully shown just how it would handle in Final Fantasy XV once it hits the gamer's hands on November 29th. Something all of us care about, or at least hopefully care about, when it comes to our games and such. Read More...

A new pre-order bonus for Watch Dogs 2 has been announced and it looks like the Zodiac Killer will be running around Watch Dogs 2 now It sure does look like Ubisoft likes putting in famous serial killers into their games and Watch Dogs 2 is yet another one that is getting an old killer in the mix. Well at least if you pre-order the game before November 15th that is. Or are at least willing to wait a little bit after the game launches and the DLC shows up on the respective stores out there for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Read More...

The Nintendo NX has been officially shown off and its new name is the Nintendo Switch and it looks to bring all of us back to play This announcement seemed to come out of nowhere but as it turns out we now have the Nintendo Switch to look forward to next March. That's right. The Nintendo Switch. That is the new name of the NX that we've been seeing and hearing so many teases about up to now and in the mix of all of the other things going on in gaming now it looks like it was time to give us the new console that they have been working. Or is it more of a handheld device? Read More...

The first official trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 has been released and it is just as much a tease for Red Dead Redemption 2 as we've had all week All week so far we've had tease after tease for Red Dead Redemption 2 and then we had the official announcement. With that announcement Rockstar Games let loose that we would also be getting the first trailer for the game today (10/20) and they kept to their word. I'm sure that is why you are here; just so you can get a look at Red Dead Redemption 2 before Take-Two Interactive begins the marketing campaign to get us to Fall of 2017 when the game is slated to hit the PS4 and Xbox One. Just another year now for all of you rabid fans out there and I'm sure it is going to be killer for you. Read More...

We sit down and review Aragami. A new stealth ninja game that has a slaying from the shadows again Here's our review of Aragami It's always fun when games sneak out on us and it is even more fun when games like Aragami do just that as that is part of the gameplay. The stealth part and not the sneaking out without notice. None the less Lince Works has brought us this new stealth ninja game and we've had the chance to give it a nice little play through. Aragami brings us some great classic gameplay from titles like it as well as a new little story to have fun with. Read More...

A new behind the scenes video for Horizon Zero Dawn is out there to show off more of Horizon Zero Dawn's machines and ecology February 28th is still a ways off for Horizon Zero Dawn to hit the PS4 but it looks like things are still evolving and changing for the game as it continues to be developed. Of course this isn't anything new to the development process but it does look like Guerrilla Games is continuing the evolution of their machines in the game just as nature intended. At least the nature of Horizon Zero Dawn as it looks in the following behind the scenes look at the game where the team goes into detail on how each of the machines has changed over the course of the cycle here. The first gameplay for Hide And Shriek has been released and now we can see just how Hide And Shriek matches will play out later this October Earlier in the month we saw a new horror game announced called Hide And Shriek. It's a new one on one multiplayer title coming from Funcom and that was more or less about the extent of what we knew. Well outside of the goal of Hide And Shriek being to scare each other until there is a defined winner and a defined user. Well now we know a bit more and it is just in time as the game launches on Steam for PC on October 25th and we do need to see how the game plays before making our final judgement. Read More...

Another video for Prey has been released and this one gives us all a little background on Prey's alternate history we'll experience We've seen a bit of the story for Prey already and of course we all knew that there would be more to it all. I mean, Arkane Studios needed to give us a better reason to be on the space craft other than "just cause." There is already another game titled that anyways. Well, as it looks, we do have more on the story of Prey as Bethesda has brought us a new animated short that goes through the paces of the alternate history that will lead to the game's events. All of the earlier teases were for Red Dead Redemption 2 and now the cat is out and we can expect Red Dead Redemption 2 Fall of 2017 The cat is finally out of the bag officially and now we have Red Dead Redemption 2 to look forward to in the coming year. Earlier today Rockstar Games finally announced the game but has given very little information out side of the name and a feature or two that we can expect. Although one of those new Red Dead Redemption 2 was kind of ruined by Take-Two Interactive through a web registration before the official announcement, but more on that in a moment. For now we can focus on the game getting the announcement and heading to the PS4 and Xbox One next Fall. Read More...

The final voice cast video for Final Fantasy XV has released and it shows us just what parts of Final Fantasy XV the cast hold dear to themselves It's almost like Square Enix wants to keep teasing us with new stuff for Final Fantasy XV without actually giving us any more than they already have. We have had a few hours worth of gameplay shown off already if we combined all of the footage up to now in one spot. Given that Final Fantasy XV is looking at a long time frame to beat it doesn't seem like they could really show us that much more before November 29th that would spoil it all but I guess that could be a worry over there so we end up where we are right now. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site And thus completes our week in video games. Well more the week in news and updates about games but I'm sure you get the point by now. We've been all over the place here again as we had some amazing updates for Friday The 13th and Battlefield 1. We also were able to see how fast both Hitman and King's Quest could be on getting out their next and final episodes and that is not to exclude the fact that Batman is getting another so quick as well. All kinds of great updates for our video games even if some of them seemed to be a bit basic in the end. Read More...

The fifth episode of King's Quest has been given a date and it looks like we'll be wrapping King's Quest before the end of October now It may have taken quite a bit of time to get the fourth episode of King's Quest out to us but it looks like The Odd Gentlemen have kicked up the game and now we are seeing the fifth and final episode here in under a month.
