A lot has gone on this week in video games. So many big things and a few smaller ones. God Of War getting released obviously being one of the bigger events of the week here, but we also got to see some new stuff for Kingdom Hearts III. Photo mode for God Of War was just shown off and it adds in a bit more fun into God Of War than we have seen with other modes like it It was no big secret that God Of War was going to be getting a Photo Mode and that it will be coming at us some time after launch. It is all the rage as of late for PS4 games and Santa Monica Studios knew this was going to need to be something from the start. In a game as epic as God Of War, you know there are going to be a whole lot of shots that we will want to capture and share out there. More so than just the basic Share option that the system normally gives us all. Read More...

The final release date for Agony has been set down so we can all look forward to Agony on the PC and Consoles soon A month ago, we were all updated that Agony was going to be delayed. We were not given a solid reason then, but it was what it was at the time. Then earlier this week we caught wind that the game was going to be censored by Madmind Studio to make it an M-rated game and not an AO-rated title. At least for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game as PC owners can choose to remove said censorship. Now, and thankfully, we have an official release date for Agony to look at now as it is going to be landing across all platforms on May 29th now. Read More...

New screenshots and concept art are here for Spider-Man to give us some actions shots as well as a look at some of the villains in Spider-Man We are still all waiting for some more gameplay and descriptions for Spider-Man, but for now we have a few more screenshots and concept art to look at for the game. Yea, not the most exciting thing to talk about, but Insomniac Games does have a few more of the villains of the game to look at. At least it is easy to assume they are the villains as they are general Spider-Man villains from all other forms of the franchise. Read More...

A new behind-the-scenes video for Detroit: Become Human is here to show a bit more on the technology that was created to bring us Detroit: Become Human If you could not tell by the headline here, this is going to be a behind-the-scenes heavy update for Detroit: Become Human as we are diving further into all of the technology that will be bringing us the game on May 25th and less of what we will actually be getting to experience. It is a tradeoff we have to do every now and then and this time we are looking more at the hard work Quantic Dream has put in here than actual gameplay. You have been informed thusly and can choose to stick around for a bit on Detroit: Become Human, or move right along. Read More...

A new update for Assassin’s Creed Origins on the PC is coming to let you tweak and change gameplay aspects of Assassin’s Creed Origins via the Animus In a world like Assassin’s Creed Origins has set, I am talking the "real world" and not the "fake world" here; it makes sense that some of the games mechanics and aspects should be able to be broken. Not that it is a huge secret but one of the aspects of the franchise that we have to deal with is the fact that we are playing as someone who is plugging into a computer and playing as someone else. This has been the case since Ubisoft brought us the first Assassin’s Creed and shattered minds with what was going on. Read More...

A few more behind-the-scenes videos for God Of War are here to show off more of the Trolls and Revenants we will face in God Of War The hype train keeps rolling on for God Of War as we are only a few days out from launch (4/20/18) now and we still have more to see for the game. Even after all of the rave reviews, it has received so far, Santa Monica Studio still wants you to see why you should be excited to get into the game. This time around it is another good look at some of the upper-level monsters Kratos and Atreus will be facing off against in God Of War. The trolls are here yet again, but now we have a bit more than we have had on the mystical revenants we have only slightly seen before now. Read More...

The first teaser of gameplay for Underworld Ascendant is here and gives a small look at where Underworld Ascendant has progressed to at this point The first gameplay for Underworld Ascendant has been released out there just recently and all to give us a feel for what OtherSide Games has been working on since the successful Kickstarter campaign from so long ago. About three years ago if memory serves, but nonetheless, we have some gameplay and a look at what we should be expecting from this team. More so, since 505 Games is set to officially publish it all this year on the PC. Read More...

A new prequel novel for the upcoming Spider-Man game has been announced that should give those who read it a bit more insight on where Spider-Man and the world will be starting There is more going on in Spider-Man than many may have thought before as the game takes place well into Peter's career as the web-slinger. This we have heard ad nauseam since we first saw the game was coming from Insomniac Games. It is not an origin story at all, but of course there had to be somewhere that this version of the character started out and led up to the action we will be seeing and experiencing on September 7th. The next character to join the Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition as DLC is Falke and you may recognize her from Street Fighter V proper The next character DLC for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is here to look at as Falke is coming to be a playable character after showing up in the core game originally. Maybe you remember her from Ed's story or maybe you do not. Either way, Capcom has added her to the Season 3 Character Pass for Street Fighter V and we will soon be able to enjoy yet another character in the mix. Read More...

A new developer diary for God Of War is here to further show us just how Kratos’ Journey has come since the closing of God Of War III If for some reason you have yet to catch on that the next God Of War will be changing up things in many ways other than graphics, combat, and mechanics then we have yet another developer diary here to help drive that home. More in the how Kratos has evolved as a character kind of way and no other changes to the franchise that Santa Monica Studio has for us. We all knew he was going to be more "evolved" in this God Of War, but now we get to hear more on how he made it to the place he is in now since last we saw him in the third full title. Read More...

It looks like console players of Agony will be seeing things in a few different ways, as Agony has had to be censored to be able to come to the platforms While it may not be the reason given for the delay of Agony, it looks like we may have found the true reason we are all waiting a bit longer for this title to launch and it is sadly censorship. At least that is what I am presuming here and not directly what Madmind Studio has said but it makes sense now. As it turns out, they have had to go through a few changes with Agony to get it to a place where it can release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Read More...

A few new mini-games for Kingdom Hearts III have been shown off at a the recent Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] Dandelion Meeting While it may not be the biggest news for Kingdom Hearts III, it looks like we have a look at some of the new mini-games that will be making the hop into the game here when it releases sometime this year on the PS4 and Xbox One. It is a small thing, indeed, but seeing Square Enix just kind of dropped this update as a surprise, we will take it. That all said, it looks like Kingdom Hearts III will be home to a few Game & Watch-style mini-games that Sora and crew can enjoy on their mobile devices in-game. Read More...
