Another good chunk of time has passed since we last heard anything for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, so it seems about time we had something. Given that Panache Digital Games announced the game almost three years ago and we still have little to no clue on the inner workings of the game as of yet, one would think it is time. Just as last time, it is but only slightly. I say this as all we have are few new screenshots for Ancestors and not much else to go on for the game. Still no release window and the speculated PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms to play the game on. That does not mean we will not speculate now.
The bit we do know about Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is that it will be a third-person action game where we will get to watch events of truly ancient humankind unfold and craft our own story. As we have seen, and can again in these screenshots, we will be playing as an ape-like character that will be surviving and bringing for the age of man. As we can also see in these screenshots, it looks like there may be an aspect of exploration in Ancestors as well as protecting younger versions of the character. Read that as possible offspring or other younglings that will need to be kept safe. Who knows for now though?
What are your thoughts on these new images for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey that we have here? Do you agree that it looks like we could have that style of play in the game or is it still too hard to tell given the limited information and basic screens we have here? Have you been losing sight of this game given the sporadic nature of its updates or are you still excited to see what may come in the end? Let us and the world know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. Whenever we have more for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, we will share it with you. Just be ready for another bit of waiting.
