Two more audio stories for Dying Light 2 have dropped to further expand how the survivors have made it from Dying Light It is time to cozy up once again for Dying Light 2 and some of the other stories we can have and expect to build the world a bit more before launch. We have two new audio stories from Techland to take in and see how the world has evolved once more and the level of story we can expect as we parkour through the game's world. It may not be to the same level we have here, with these being labeled as Urban Legends, but they do show how dark and light some of the tales can go. Just as Dying Light plays with the whole light and dark when it comes to the environment and time of day. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We can put this week away in the books and get ready for another weekend of diving into some of those video games that have launched out there. Games like Deathloop and Song Of Horror as we wait a bit longer for a few of those that were pushed out. I am looking at you Dying Light 2. I hope that will be near the end of all of those delays for our various video games, but we know that will not be the case. Read More...

The release date is set for Sherlock Holmes Chapter One with there also being a deeper look at the gameplay this Sherlock Holmes title will offer us The silence from Frogwares and the updates for Sherlock Holmes Chapter One seem to have paid off for us all, as now we have a solid release date for the game. Well, at least a solid one for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC versions of the game with that being set down for November 16th as of now. For those that have not been able to upgrade to the next-gen consoles, you will be seeing Sherlock Holmes Chapter One, just at a later date that has still not be ironed out. Read More...

A delay has happened for Battlefield 2042 with the wait for this new Battlefield title taking a few more weeks for us to go through It is no huge surprise when it comes to news like this given the state of the world still, but it looks like Battlefield 2042 is another title to hit the delay train for us all. Originally, it was slated to hit on October 22nd but it looks like due to the members of DICE having to shift to working from home, things have taken a bit of a slower approach to development. My guess is that it was more of the spin-up time and not the fact that they are working remote, but this is the excuse that we have for why we are waiting longer for Battlefield 2042. Read More...

New gameplay for Hello Neighbor 2 is here to show us how the AI has grown vastly smarter since the previous Hello Neighbor With each new bit of gameplay for Hello Neighbor 2, it looks like the game advances by leaps and bounds. It is how good development should always go and seeing as tinyBuild is tasking Eerie Guest Studios to hit some new heights, it should come as no surprise that they are doing so. All so we can get the most realistic game of breaking and entering that has been out there. Also to make sure that our neighbor is actually up to some no good in the mix again after Hello Neighbor. We have a few more characters for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl shown off with another Nickelodeon duo joining in the fight officially now Everything seems to just be pouring out for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, as we have a few more characters entering the fight and a few more breakdowns of other characters to get us all fully ready for when the game launches this Fall. There is such a robust cast of characters from the Nickelodeon past and current for Fair Play Labs to choose from, so it feels like this could just a be a regular thing moving forward again. For now, though, we have Ren & Stimpy showing up in the game as a dynamic duo and the rest of the SpongeBob crew given their breakdowns to keep us all going. Read More...

There is more to the story for Forspoken as the world expands beyond Earth and into the Athia of Forspoken The world of Forspoken is growing with each new video we are offered up and now we get to see just how Frey gets placed into the situation she finds herself in. Well, at least part of the story to get us hyped up before the big Spring of 2022 release on the PC and PS5. There is still a whole lot of time for more to come out for us, but we have the first real taste to the story we are going to get in Forspoken right now. Especially since it looks like all we have is a fish out of water story that turns into a lone hero saves the world thing. Read More...

A new story trailer for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy is out here to give us a better understanding of what the Guardians will be up to Slowly before the October 26th release date we are getting a bit more of a solid story for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy. At least enough of the story to get us all hooked in with something solid beyond just heading out on random missions with the team, that is. I know I would not be adverse to just having that in general, but I also know that Eidos-Montréal does like to tell their stories in the mix of all of the fun gameplay. Now we have a bit more of that defined for Guardians to take in and get us ready to possibly get things done. Read More...

Deathloop is out there for us and we have a bit more of the story to take in to get us further into the Deathloop The time is finally here for us to jump into the loop that is Deathloop. The game has hit the PS5 and PC and we get to see if what Arkane Lyon has done will live up to all of the hype out there. Especially with how it all shakes out after the parent company went after the game was set down as a PS5 console exclusive. It is something I personally find funny, but I digress and need to get back to the topic at hand. Read More...

We sit down and review Song Of Horror. An interesting episodic horror title with a haunting melody. Here is our review of Song Of Horror It is always interesting to go down the paths for many different survivors in horror titles, and Song Of Horror is the next title out there aiming to focus on that a bit. This would be the most recent title from Protocol Games that has made the leap from PC over to the PS4 and Xbox One to try to tell a sinister story through multiple episodes. In the console case, we have the whole batch of chapters for Song Of Horror in one sitting after all of this time. Read More...

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands blasts us with some of the first gameplay to give us a showing on how Wonderlands will blend metal and fantasy It did not take all that long, and now we are back with some actual gameplay to look at for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Just in the way that Gearbox normally does it all too, with all of the absurdity and craziness that their fans need but also in a way that does not reveal all too much. Given that the bigger selling point for Wonderlands is going to be the main story we are playing through, that is going to be a rough one to do without them allowing for multiple early "let's plays." We can hope for that as of now and just take in the new bits we have to enjoy. Read More...

The next Spider-Man title is coming with the announcement of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with a few new twists coming at us in the mix It should be almost no surprise that we are going to be getting a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launched out there. The first and side title did so well that it would have been odd for Insomniac Games wanted to skip on it after all of the teases at the end of them. We have the official announcement for it all for the PS5 and coming to us in 2023. Yes, it will be a bit of a wait, but we will see Spider-Man swinging out there again and with a new list of villains trying to bring Peter and Miles down. Read More...
