The next developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is here to give insight on how this Werewolf story will be in the World of Darkness Most titles in Werewolf: The Apocalypse, or the World of Darkness in general, are usually set somewhere in the North American area of the world with history only touching the rest of the world out there. It is something that feels like it has always been this way with the rest of the world only watching as primarily the United States gets the big highlight. It is a WORLD Of Darkness, though, and it looks like this is part of the story that Different Tales is going for in Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest. Read More...

A new look at how Observer: System Redux will be evolving the visuals of Observer for the next-gen systems is here There has never been any doubt that the PS5 and Xbox Series X will be able to throw out some amazing visuals, but now we have a better look at how Observer: System Redux will look over there and just a bit of the power the new systems will have. I guess, we should still say potentially have as it is on the developers like Bloober Team to make games look overly impressive with the new hardware. Something that we can see is happening really well here for Observer in the latest video we have for the remastered version of the game. Read More...

The date for the Early Access for Baldur’s Gate 3 is now set and we could be returning to Baldur’s Gate before the end of September We have been waiting for it and now we have it as the date for when we might be able to play Baldur’s Gate 3 is finally set down. It only took a little bit of a delay before, but here we go with world right from the mouths of Larian Studios that we will be seeing the Early Access for the game on September 30th. Of course, this is still technically tentative based on how the world is going right now. That does not change the fact that they are aiming for us all to be able to experience Baldur’s Gate 3 in the early form on this date. Read More...

New behind the scenes features for Jessika is here to give a little more insight into how the team cast and made the upcoming Jessika We have been keeping an eye on the indie FMV title Jessika as of late and now we have a few more behind the scenes videos to take in for it all. If you have been left out, this is the upcoming story game from Tri Trie Games and Assemble Entertainment that will have us going through FMV sequences to figure out all of the insanity that is going on there. Not a play on words with that from what we are learning for Jessika here either. Although I am hoping that none of this will spoil the fun on August 25th when it hit the PCs out there. Read More...

A new bit of gameplay for the next expansion in Control shows how Control will link into the developer's other titles The next big expansion for Control is coming to us all on August 27th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This is something we know, as well as the fact that it will tie into one of Remedy's other big IPs from the years passed. Not all of those gamers out there will get the link due to exclusivity of the other title, but we will get to see it a bit more here in Control. That one being Alan Wake and all of the weirdness that game brought us back then. Read More...

A video game version of Animal Farm is coming to us all and will help retell George Orwell’s Animal Farm for a new generation Another piece of literature is coming into the video game space as we now have confirmation that Animal Farm is in development for the PC this Fall. This is not some cute little simulator where you get to play as animals, but a retelling of the George Orwell piece that was an allegory for things much darker. All of which is being helmed by Nerial to try to help a new generation see the faults in the world in a different way. Much as the original Animal Farm tried to do back in the 40s. Read More...

A new mode is coming to Ghost Of Tsushima that will add a new co-op and multiplayer option to the Ghost Of Tsushima gameplay A new and free update is coming to Ghost Of Tsushima this Fall and it looks like it will add something that we did not expect for the game. While not a huge bit of story DLC coming for the game, it will hold a little bit of story. The bigger focus here will be that Sucker Punch is adding in new multiplayer and co-op gameplay in for those looking for it. I never thought that Ghost Of Tsushima would be a title that needed this, but it something coming in the future and here we go with a few more of the details than just that. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is now time to put a pin in yet another huge week in video games and move on to the fun part of it all. At least for those of us that have the weekends off and can kick back to enjoy them all. Especially with the next wave of beta for Marvel's Avengers here and all of the other prep work to get ready for everything coming to Control Something we will need to help carry us all over as we saw the delay for Bloodlines 2 here as well. Something that gets a bit of relief when we see video games like The Last Of Us Part II have a huge update out there to keep us coming back in for more. Read More...

The next developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is here to talk about the Rage we will have to deal with in this Werewolf story If you are back in here, then you should know that Werewolf: The Apocalypse is usually all about the Rage within the beings and how they mitigate it. To an extent at least. Something we should know well and something that Different Tales is definitely bringing to the forefront in the upcoming game they are working on. Read More...

An Ultimate Edition for Control has been announced that will package Control with all of its DLC for all of the platforms out there So many have had a chance to play Control so far and with all of the DLC and updates that have come since launch. That is, at least those on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC not using Steam. It is an amazing game with a whole lot of fun content that holds up to the Remedy standards as I see it. Sadly, when you look at that list before, there are a lot of gamers out there that may have missed out on Control the first time around. Read More...

A new developer diary for Hitman 3 is here to highlight more for the Hitman VR we are going to get with the launch There was a huge bit of news when it was announced that Hitman 3 was going to bring the whole thing into a VR space. We had a little bit of gameplay there and IO Interactive said we would see a bit more in the future. Now is the future and here we are with a new developer diary for Hitman 3 that focuses on the VR aspect of it all. Something that is a huge drive for me to head back into the World of Assassination besides just the basic gameplay in the franchise. Read More...
