by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of April 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Friday The 13th: The Game has been revealed during PAX East and a new location bring one of Friday The 13th's icons to life Finally we have some solid gameplay for Friday The 13th: The Game and a good look at one of the game's environments right out of PAX East. That would be where Illfonic and Gun Media chose to show off the new bits but it didn't take long at all for us to get all of the lovely new footage online and in video format to see. Before now most of the gameplay tidbits for Friday The 13th have been very rough or just descriptions of how mechanics will work in game. Now we get to see how all of those hardcore mo-cap sessions play out as Jason goes to town. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of April 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with another week in video games in the bag. Such an exciting week it was too with so many release announcements and only one delay in the mix. Yes it is still sad that we have to wait just a bit longer for Mirror's Edge Catalyst but we are getting Uncharted 4, Hitman, and The Walking Dead: Michonne here in a few weeks. Not only that but we were able to see LawBreakers and Outlast 2 in motion. Like I said, a lot of highs in video games this week with only one real low. Read More…

Outlast 2 Brings Us The Most Terrifying Corn-Maze Ever
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of April 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for Outlast 2 has been released out of PAX East and Outlast 2 looks to bring more fear than the last one The wait is over and the date is here so we have our first Outlast 2 gameplay video fresh out of PAX East. Just in case you forgot this was something that Red Barrels teased a few weeks ago with a very cryptic video that spoke of April 22nd as being a date of importance. That importance being the first gameplay demo of Outlast 2 and it takes us through a scary run for our lives through a corn field in some part of the country. It's like Redneck Rampage without the humor and more terror. Read More…

Finally We Get To See The Technomancer In Action
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of April 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
New gameplay footage for The Technomancer has been released and it shows off just how far The Technomancer has come in its development cycle If the announcement of The Technomancer's release date didn't get you all tickled for the game, it most likely didn't do much, then let us have a look at some new gameplay. The reason I would say it didn't do much before is that Spiders hasn't released all that much in terms of gameplay near the final approach of the game's dev cycle. We were still working off early footage of The Technomancer but now we have some solid and what can be assumed to be gold level gameplay here. Read More…

Witness The Real Future That LawBreakers Is Bringing Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of April 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Another gameplay trailer for LawBreakers has landed and it shows off the game's theme as well as gives news of LawBreakers having an alpha test Here we go with another trailer for LawBreakers and this time it shows more than just gameplay it shows off a bit of the game's tone that Boss Key Productions is trying to go for. A tone that is quite similar to another title that the game's director gave us a while back. No I am not talking about Gears Of War here at all but LawBreakers has a lot of the same feel as Bulletstorm but that is just my observation on this PC title. Read More…

Faith Is Stumbling As Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Has Another Delay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of April 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Another delay for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is on us as it looks like the team needs more time to perfect Mirror’s Edge Catalyst's social play feature Just when we were all going to get excited that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst was almost here it looks like we are going to have to wait a bit longer. Not too much longer but it looks like DICE needs a few more weeks to perfect things in the game and now we will be seeing it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on June 7th now. The reasons of course being linked to Mirror’s Edge Catalyst's Social Play features and the fact that they are nowhere near what they were hoping for. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of April 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The Next episode of Hitman lands in a few days and we have a new trailer as well as a basic description of the Hitman mission we will be undertaking I hope you have perfected the first two missions/episodes of Hitman as the next one is just about to drop. April 26th is still the date that we will get to play Io Interactive's next addition into this game with episode two and things look to be a lot more lush and expansive than before. We were all promised huge locations for Hitman and the new on here looks to completely trump what we had to experience in the Show Stopper episode. Then again…looks can be deceiving. Read More…

The final episode of The Walking Dead: Michonne has been given a release date as well as some new screenshots and how we all played The Walking Dead: Michonne's last episode All good things must come to an end at some point and The Walking Dead: Michonne is one of those mini-series that is doing just that. The latest developer diary for Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has dropped and this one goes into a bit more detail on how Hellblade's combat system has been upgraded We've seen how lifelike the characters in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice are going to look when it comes to all of the motion capture. That was quite a feat that Ninja Theory has pulled off so far so there is a lot more scrutiny going to come their way to make sure the whole game is top notch. To accommodate all of this it looks like they have taken to reworking the combat system for Hellblade a bit and now we have a partial update on how that is all going with their latest developer diary. Umbrella Corps Will Take Us Back To That Old Antarctic Base Of Yore
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of April 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Another new map for Umbrella Corps has been revealed as well as a few familiar looking zombies we will have to manage in Umbrella Corps just to win matches It looks like we get to add yet another big icon location into the Umbrella Corps for shooting and killing due to whatever reason we can concoct for it all. This time we get to see how Capcom is rebuilding the great Antarctic Base of Resident Evil: Code Veronica into the shell of where it was left in the franchise's history just so we can run and gun. Umbrella Corps wasn't supposed to be 100% canon with the franchise now was it or did I miss a memo somewhere and should rail against this map's addition? Read More…
