Man we should have seen this coming. The "Test Your Might" mini-games of Mortal Kombat fame are coming with the new games launch. Only this time they are way more detailed and quite a few more than I remember. Like almost 299 more challenges than I remember from previous versions of the franchise I have played. I clearly remember only the block breaking challenges of the old arcade versions so please excuse if I don't know of any others. Modern Warfare 3 May Have Been A Hoax, But Battlefield 3 Is Not

So while the Modern Warfare 3 counter was technically a hoax, the rumors that EA was going to bring something to GDC for the announced Battlefield 3 were not. Could We Be Seeing Modern Warfare 3 At GDC?

So we are either going to get a look at the next billion dollar game from Activision or one of the best pranks run on fans of the Modern Warfare franchise. A new site, findmakarov.com, has begun to be passed around the net. It doesn't feature anything stating Modern Warfare 3 on it but it does have a countdown with the franchise know font face. Not to mention the site name does link back to the "villain" of Modern Warfare 2. In all actuality, this is most likely a nice little tease for what Activision is going to show off at GDC. Id's Rage Becomes Untethered With A New Trailer & Release Date

This new trailer shows off some extremely beautiful landscapes of destruction as well as some promising action scenes. All set to the tune of an original song titled “Burning Jacob’s Ladder” by singer Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Queens of the Stone Age, Gutter Twins). So No Co-Op In Batman: Arkham City

Well we can put the rumors the Batman: Arkham City co-op video that found its way to the internet started. In a recent interview Sefton Hill from of Rocksteady Studios gave there will be no co-op play in Arkham City. It will be a single player game only. This kind of makes me extremely happy. Especially with the reasons being that they didn't want to take anyone from the team off the work on single player to deliver a rushed co-op mode. More Ass Kickers Shown For Mortal Kombat 9

While the two below trailers are mainly about Liu Kang and Noob Saibot being playable characters in Mortal Kombat, let's play a bit of "Where's Waldo?" with the clips and see if we can find a few characters not fully announced yet. That is if you can look past the pretty basic story for Liu and asskickery of Noob. I think I'm seeing Ermac, Sindel, Kano and Jade in there. Green Lantern Hunts Down Those Pesky Manhunters

So just like the Transformers Game, Green Lantern is getting the same treatment with a video game tie-in. A game nicely titled Green Lantern: Green Lantern: Rise Of The Manhunters and looks to be as tied to the film in every way but overall story. At least the below trailer would lead me to believe that it takes place somewhere mid-way or after the story the upcoming film will have. Here check it out. Blizzcon 2011 Announced...Early?

Well this was unexpected and really early this year. Blizzard announced Blizzcon 2011 with the least amount of details, just a date, time and place. Honestly this is the earliest Blizzard has ever announced this event, hell were still getting over the last one that was less than four months ago.Here's what we know. Jax Fights The Law In Mortal Kombat And Wins

Ok, so we can't really say that he wins as it is only a screen shot of Jax beating down Striker in the new Mortal Kombat, but it is a fun title. Not to mention that with the way Striker's face is being slammed it is easy to extrapolate the end results of the fight to that end. I mean unless it is a lucky shot and Jax is just going to have a cap busted in his ass when Striker gets back up. It is also nice to see a few more views of the new game as well in between the fun little videos that Nether Realm pumps out every now and then. Batman: Arkham City - Co-Op With Joker?

Now here is an interesting twist that could occur with the upcoming Batman: Arkham City, co-op play with the Clown Prince of Crime! At least from a video that seems to have been leaked out through a few European websites that shows just that. Seems Like Forever Since The Last Duke Nukem'
