This Week In Video Games 3/6/23 — 3/10/23
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 11th of March 2023 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is coming to an end as you read this and many of us are about to retreat into our video games for a bit. Even if some of us are about to lose an hour to all of this. No matter the case, we did get to see some fun things for Diablo IV and WWE 2K23 this week while also seeing that Starfield may have been taking a little longer than some of us expected. That is the way things seem to roll here for all of our video games but we should be used to that by now. Read More...

Diablo IV Shows Us All How Hatred Has Returned To The Cathedral
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of March 2023 - 10:00 PM ]
Diablo Something new for Diablo IV is out there with a massive mural depicting more of the hatred in the world of Diablo If you are one of those classical art types of gamers, then you are going to lose your mind over the new stuff we have for Diablo IV. Not in the way of any new gameplay or screenshots to take in for it all, but a look at a new marketing stunt that Blizzard has for us all to help promote the game. A game that is still slated to hit on June 6th for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Thankfully, nothing has changed there for Diablo IV. Read More...

Here Is The Into To The Downfall Coming With Diablo IV
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2023 - 06:00 PM ]
Diablo See how Diablo IV is going to open up for us all and a bit of the in-game footage we will have with the new Diablo If you want to spoil a bit of Diablo IV for yourself before it lands on June 6th, then do we have an update for you. In fact, we have the in-game into cinematic to take in from Blizzard to help hype the game and try to get us further into things. All claimed to be in-game footage even if it is still a scripted scene. Even if there is no notice on how this Diablo IV footage was captured, be it the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or PC, but I have a feeling it will look close to the same across the board. This Week In Video Games 12/12/22 — 12/16/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 17th of December 2022 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This brings us all to the end of yet another fun week of video games out there. There is still so much more to come too, which is odd given the year's end we are at, but this is a great problem to have. We have Death Stranding 2 to look forward to, Atomic Heart almost here for us to enjoy, a trip to the new Super Mario World to plan, and we had our review for Marvel’s Midnight Suns out there for you all. That is only scraping some of the surfaces for all of the video games we had updates to and other experiences that will take us further into the future. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of December 2022 - 08:00 PM ]
Diablo The official release date for Diablo IV is now set so all of the Diablo fans can now get ready for war After getting leaked, retracted, leaked again, and retracted once more, we finally have an official release date for Diablo IV to look forward to. Okay, so all of that before might have been a little over-exaggeration, but it felt like that was the case with Blizzard and getting us a timeline on when to expect the game to hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Thankfully, during The Game Awards, we have the final answer. Diablo IV will be hitting us all on June 6th of 2023. Read More...

The Dead Will Have No Mercy In The Latest We Have For Diablo IV
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of June 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Diablo The necromancer is back for Diablo IV with the class announcement and a load of new gameplay for Diablo IV too The dead are going to rise once again with the Necromancer coming in for Diablo IV and giving us all a look at how the class could function in the game. Even if this is all more in the cinematic form that Blizzard has for us today, but it does hint toward a few of the in-world aspects of the class we will get to use. More along the lines that while the population will see it all as an evil path to walk, it does not specifically make one in evil in Diablo IV. We might know better when the game lands on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2023, but the video we have here definitely shows that we can still summon the dead for some kind of good out there. Compare Some Of The Gameplay Coming For Diablo II Resurrected
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Diablo Some new gameplay for Diablo II Resurrected is out there from the alpha and it shows off how it has been upgraded from Diablo II original With some of the more recent remasters and upgrades we have seen for some older titles; it can be understood why some gamers out there might be a little worried for Diablo II Resurrected. It is a remaster of one of the more beloved titles that Blizzard has put out there and they have not fully shown they can be the masters at this form of gaming too. That is why I am glad to be able to offer up some new alpha gameplay that we have out there that shows off how this version will be standing out over the original Diablo II in terms of visuals and other basic mechanics. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of February 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
Diablo Another class for Diablo IV, the Rogue, is on the way to get the job done and further flesh out the Diablo class list It was another Blizzcon here with many of the announcements that many have been looking for, and here we go with the latest for Diablo IV as we wait for the game to finally come to us on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. There is still nothing specifically set down for that but that does not mean that Blizzard will not be further expanding it all by giving us a new class. A new class with the Rogue joining in on Diablo IV with many of the things we should expect as the sneaky class normally has. Read More...

Review: Diablo III [PS3]
by Greg Tatterfield [ Monday, 16th of September 2013 - 06:42 PM ]
Last year Blizzard released Diablo III on PC to great reviews and critical acclaim. Now months after the PC release, console gamers get a chance to play the superb dungeon crawler. I am among the people who got their hands on Diablo III late since I am exclusively a console gamer. This review will be more for console gamers who have never played Diablo III, since I can’t speak for the original PC version because I have never played it. I will however touch upon the differences between PC and the console ports. What I hated: There were not many things that I hated about Diablo III. Read More...

Aggrocast Episode Ninety Eight .1: Tangent on Games - More Like TangRant
by Brian Bentley [ Monday, 4th of June 2012 - 10:21 PM ]
It is absolutely true that Episode 98 got out of hand. I split it into the meat of talk about E3 and then the rest is in here. It's almost pure rant. Listen to Corey going off on what he thinks the industry thinks makes a successful game (hint: don't assume you'll understand him right away, Matt and I thought he was talking about something completely different at that time. Hear how incredulous Matt and I get.  Comment with your thoughts below in the show notes. Read More...
