by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of September 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Rise Of The Tomb Raider A new trailer for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been released and it looks like we are getting even more callbacks to Tomb Raider in this game Just in case you spaced on the fact that Rise Of The Tomb Raider is still coming to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 here on November 10th we have yet another trailer to look at as a reminder. Sadly it is also a reminder that it is going to be limited for about another year as we wait for Crystal Dynamics to be able to spread the Tomb Raider love when they can bring Rise Of The Tomb Raider to all other gamers out there. That and that since we most likely know everything that there is to about the game in terms of gameplay we will be inundated with these hodgepodged together videos for Rise Of The Tomb Raider until launch. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of September 2015 - 08:59 PM ]
More gameplay for Metal Gear Online has been shown at TGS and it explains how Metal Gear Online will expand The Phantom Pain as well as just be damn fun If you are like me then you are still wrapping up Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's main campaign mode. I swear we will have a review up here soon. If you are also like me then you have been excited to see how Metal Gear Online is going to play out and expand the The Phantom Pain experience further than it already is. The game doesn't need a multiplayer aspect to keep the gameplay going but Konami did promise a new Metal Gear Online and we had a small taste already. Read More...

LEGO Dimensions Is Bringing Most Of The Original Voices Into The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of September 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
It looks like LEGO Dimensions is aiming for a truly immersive experience as many of the original voice actors are reprising roles for LEGO Dimensions If there is one thing I demand in my games like LEGO Dimensions it is authenticity. If there are two things I demand it would be that TT Games resurrected some of those dead actors to come back and reprise their roles in LEGO Dimensions. I don't care what kind of necromancy or time travel that would be needed but they have Warner Bros. money here so I am sure that they could do it. Read More...

Ten More Guitar Hero Live Tracks Have Been Revealed To Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of September 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
There have been ten more tracks added to the ever growing list of Guitar Hero Live songs that will be playable when Guitar Hero Live officially launches There is still over a month before Guitar Hero Live hits homes around the world. October 20th will creep up on us like a bad burrito and we'll be jamming out to all the songs that FreeStyleGames could cram into Guitar Hero Live's disc. Of course this will be expanded based on all of the other options Activision is forcing into Guitar Hero Live to make sure we have a well-rounded set list of songs but we'll focus completely on the disc list as that will be available for all who purchase Guitar Hero Live no matter what. At least that is the hope… With that said it looks like we have ten more tracks added into the list here for Guitar Hero Live. Read More...

The Merc' With The Mouth, Deadpool, Is Hitting Next Gen Systems
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of September 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
It has been announced that Deadpool will be making the leap from the PS3 and 360 to the PS4 and Xbox One this November bringing all of the Deadpool goodness with him Talk about a "remaster" of sorts coming out of nowhere as Deadpool is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One almost two years after it hit the PS3 and Xbox 360. This would be the High Moon Studios game that came out in 2013 that also had a lot of mixed reviews based on the titular character Deadpool. I am sure that Activision isn't doing this because of the most likely success of the Marvel franchise recently and the new film on the way. Read More...

Minecraft: Story Mode Is Going To Let Us Choose Our Hero Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
It looks like Minecraft: Story Mode isn't only letting us choose our own story paths but also how our hero of Minecraft looks and sounds…with new screenshots While all of those lucking gamers are attending PAX will be getting a chance to play with a beta build of Minecraft: Story Mode it looks like the rest of us are not being left out in the lurch with nothing to go one but word of mouth. Telltale wouldn't do that to us. And in fact they haven't as they have dropped a few new screenshots on us from Minecraft: Story Mode as well as a little nugget that is a first in the developer's history here for their foray into the Mojang franchise. Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Collector's Edition Has Been Detailed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The collector's edition for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been revealed and it is pretty standard in the ways of collector’s editions goes Surprise, surprise. It looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider is getting a Collector's Edition version of the game. Okay. Not really that big of a surprise here but up until now there has been no word from Square Enix on if there was going to be one or not. Hells, Crystal Dynamics has been pretty quiet on the whole thing but I am sure that is due to them trying to make Rise Of The Tomb Raider the game we want and need and not just a bland addition to the franchise. That is at least what I would like to think as it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to think that as I'll most likely have another year to sit and wait for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to move from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One over to the PC and PS4. New screenshots for LEGO Dimensions show off a few of the brave new worlds we will be saving when traversing the LEGO Dimensions universe Up until now we've been getting LEGO Dimensions based on the individual worlds or dimensions that we will be exploring in the game when it comes on September 27th. Unlike before though, in this new update we have a nice new look at a few of the LEGO Dimensions worlds all mixed into one update. Read More...

The Ultimate Metal Gear Is Coming In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The launch trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been released and it is full of nostalgia and new gameplay just for The Phantom Pain We are now officially a week out from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's release on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Next Tuesday, September 1st we will be giving Kojima Productions' final foray into the Metal Gear franchise before departing Konami and moving on to other things. It will be a sad time but it looks like The Phantom Pain will be bringing us so much joy and "ultimate story" that we can overlook all of that and just pine for the game when not in our hands. The Phantom Pain has looked to be one of those titles that have the ability to last for quite some time even if you don't take part in the online multiplayer aspect of it all. Read More...

The Rise Of The Tomb Raider Demo That Should Have Been At Gamescom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A stealthier version of the Rise Of The Tomb Raider demo that was shown off at Gamescom has been released to show combat doesn't have to be used in Rise Of The Tomb Raider If you were like me then you were most likely let down with the first showcase of Rise Of The Tomb Raider during Gamescom. It was claimed to be a stealth gameplay demo just for the show but there was a lot more combat mixed in and a lot less stealth than we should expect in Rise Of The Tomb Raider. It looks like Crystal Dynamics heard or read the outcry there as they have just released a new version of that "stealth" Rise Of The Tomb Raider gameplay footage only this time they really do mean stealth as Lara makes her way through the same area without trying to kill or injure a single person in Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Usually I am all about the killing to get rid of those pesky guards in games like Rise Of The Tomb Raider but that just has never been Lara's style before and more along the lines of Agent 47.
