Shadow Of The Colossus Shows Off A Bit More At TGS
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Shadow Of The Colossus A little more footage for Shadow Of The Colossus has been shown off at TGS and it shows just how Shadow Of The Colossus has been rebuilt The roof shook when it was let loose that Shadow Of The Colossus was getting a remake for the PS4 during the E3 conference. Get ready to get those roofs shaking again as we have more to see for the game straight out of TGS. It looks like Bluepoint Games is in full swing to get this version of Shadow Of The Colossus out there as this one is all about how well the game looks even though we still have quite a bit of time before it launches. Sometime in 2018 still looks to be the projected date for the game, but that does not stop us from enjoying a little bit of it here right now. Read More...

Meet A Few Of The Good Men In Our Squad For Call Of Duty: WWII
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We have seen part of the story for Call Of Duty: WWII and now we get a little closer to the squad we will be following along in this Call Of Duty story We already had a nice look at the story for Call Of Duty: WWII, or at least as much as Activision wanted us to see, and now we get to follow it right up with a few more little snippets to show off the main squad we will be following along. The last trailer did focus a lot on "Red" Daniels who will be the protagonist that Sledgehammer Games is giving us, but of course, there will be supporting members for the story and team. That is what we have here for you now as we wait for November 3rd to hit and we get to see just what has been packed into Call Of Duty: WWII besides the multiplayer. Read More...

Things Are Getting Mystical In Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The next tribe of Orcs in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here now and it adds a level of mysticism to Shadow Of War and the enemies we will be facing off with Things are getting a little more magical and mystic in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War as we have the next tribe of Orcs here to look at that are given a name that also fit right in. Here we have the Mystic Tribe for the game and, as you most likely guessed, these are the Orcs that will be performing rituals and using the dark arts to give us more of a challenge in the game. It also looks like they are also just as despised by the rest of the world in Shadow Of War due to the fact that they can fight as well as use black magics on you to cause all kinds of different things. Call Of Duty: WWII Will Have An Explosive Story For Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A story trailer for Call Of Duty: WWII is here and shows us all how this addition to the Call Of Duty franchise will take us deeper into some iconic battles Hold on to your butts as the story trailer for Call Of Duty: WWII is here and it looks like we will be going through another explosive journey in far off lands where we meet new people and then kill them. Or we just have to deal with all the insanity of the Second World War and the parts that Sledgehammer Games has pulled for us. Still not the best of cake walks to have, but it goes a bit further into the "back to Call Of Duty's roots" for this installment. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/11/17 — 9/15/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of September 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That wraps up yet another week of video games here and now we get to have a small break. At least from the updates as we have a whole lot of titles releasing here in short order as well as on the close horizon. It may seem like The Evil Within 2 and Shadow Of War are still very far away, but these video games are now only a few weeks off. Then we look at Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite and need to remember that it is only a few days off now. Read More...

Meet The Reason For Your Pain & Anger In Assassin’s Creed Origins
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed A new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins is here and gives us a good view of the figures behind all of the issues in the Assassin’s Creed franchise Given the setting for Assassin’s Creed Origins, it would not make complete sense to see the looming villains we have already seen time and time again in the rest of the franchise. At least in the shape and form we have known them to be all the way back to the original title. I am sure the Templars will still be a part of the game as it wouldn't be a full Assassin’s Creed title without them, but it does look like Ubisoft is taking us far back enough to see where they started from. Runes In God Of War Are Going To Be A Lot More Than Just Decoration
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War A recent podcast with the director of God Of War has been placed out there and it goes a bit into the details of God Of War's runic magic and their use In the recent weeks, it would seem that we are getting new tidbits for God Of War seeping out and both on the side of gameplay mechanics and other on the side of aesthetics. Well, at least in terms of the concept art that Santa Monica Studios is using to make the game look amazing on the PS4. There have been a whole lot of those flying around as part of the marketing for God Of War, but now we have a little more to dig into here than just that. Read More...

It Is Almost Time For The Ultimate Target In Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Dishonored It is time to find out if Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider will actually have you kill Dishonored's favorite morally ambiguous character, The Outsider In just a few days we will all be treated to Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This is the expansion coming from Arkane Studios for the franchise that will be building off the story of Billie Lurk and Daud and their new goal to kill the Outsider. I guess the title of the game kind of states all of that, but given that this is another Dishonored title, the killing of the Outsider is just an option we can take. At least that is the takeaway from the recent interview clip that Bethesda has just released as we all wait for September 15th to come around. Read More...

We Will Face Tooth & Claw Against Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Feral Tribe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The next tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and they are bringing teeth & claws into the mix of Shadow Of War's big fight Another week and now another of the tribes from Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is brought to us to look and get ready to deal with how we choose when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 10th. We have seen some great ones already and now we have the Feral Tribe joining the ranks from Monolith Productions for the game. I was pretty sure that most Orcs out there in Shadow Of War were already feral in general, but I guess these ones are going even further into the stereotype here. Read More...

South Park: The Fractured But Whole's Difficulty Slider Is Not What You Think
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park It seems like South Park: The Fractured But Whole has already caused a stir in the most South Park of ways but you most likely missed the joke due to 'controversy' As we mentioned earlier, we are still waiting for a bit more for South Park: The Fractured But Whole to give us more of the basic gameplay and other option we may get along the way. While we were waiting, it looks like Ubisoft has allowed some of the other bigger outlets the ability to give the first few hours of the game a play and then give out their impressions so far. It is the usual fair as we all know, but it seems like one little tidbit was the focus that took the internet by storm and caused all kinds of outcry back and forth. Read More...

It Is Time To Choose Your Side In South Park: The Fractured But Whole
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park New faction videos for South Park: The Fractured But Whole are here and it is time to choose which side of the fight you will take for South Park's future We are almost a month out form South Park: The Fractured But Whole hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and we still have a whole lot of questions about the game that have yet to be revealed. Sure, there is still a lot of time for Ubisoft to reveal things before October 17th, but it feels like it is all rushing here in the best of ways. Thankfully, it looks like they have opted to open the gates on the two main factions that will be dominating South Park and we have them to look at to help make the choice a bit easier when it comes in game. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Thus concludes our week of news and updates for our beloved video games. Another pretty solid week when you look at it all and we were able to play a bit of catch up with the reviews we keep promising you. We saw both Night Trap and Life Is Strange get those treatments this week while we were still wading through the new for other video games like Shadow Of War and Assassin’s Creed Origins. Not to mention the surprise addition of Dead Rising 4 the PS4 roster before the end of this year and a lot of great screenshots for Agony and God Of War. Read More...
