Here's The London Of Assassin's Creed Syndicate For You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of September 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Assassin's Creed Syndicate has been released and it shows off the well-crafted version of London we will experience in Assassin's Creed Syndicate You've been living under a rock if you didn't know that Assassin's Creed Syndicate was taking place in London until now. Maybe you have and maybe you haven't. That doesn't change the fact that we are getting a nice, new look at the London that Ubisoft has crafted for us in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. I'm not talking about just the "murder" locations that we've seen already in past gameplay but all of the living and breathing NPCs of Assassin's Creed Syndicate that will populate this London. Review — Tales From The Borderlands: Escape Plan Bravo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Escape Plan Bravo. This Is The Fourth Episode Of Telltale's Take On Gearbox's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did Another quick turnaround on Tales From The Borderlands has been made and I couldn't be more tickled for it. The fourth and next to last episode of Telltale's take on the famed Gearbox franchise has been released to the world and we have had the pleasure of giving it a play through. Escape Plan Bravo, that's the name of the fourth episode of Tales From The Borderlands, has been initiated and has been for at least a week at the time of writing this. It had a lot to live up to and it is time to see how it did as we review Tales From The Borderlands — Escape Plan Bravo and let you know what we think of this next to last addition to the franchise. Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Collector's Edition Has Been Detailed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The collector's edition for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been revealed and it is pretty standard in the ways of collector’s editions goes Surprise, surprise. It looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider is getting a Collector's Edition version of the game. Okay. Not really that big of a surprise here but up until now there has been no word from Square Enix on if there was going to be one or not. Hells, Crystal Dynamics has been pretty quiet on the whole thing but I am sure that is due to them trying to make Rise Of The Tomb Raider the game we want and need and not just a bland addition to the franchise. That is at least what I would like to think as it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to think that as I'll most likely have another year to sit and wait for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to move from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One over to the PC and PS4. Darwin & Dickens Will Have Larger Roles In Assassin's Creed Syndicate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new video for Assassin's Creed Syndicate has been released that shows off Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens as well as more Assassin's Creed Syndicate pre-order bonuses If you've been following along with Assassin's Creed Syndicate then you most likely have heard about the Charles-es making a strong appearance in the game. These being Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens even though I'm not sure how they would feel about Ubisoft placing them on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC as we would have to speculate on dead human feelings. None the less they are coming and helping Jacob and Evie in Assassin's Creed Syndicate in their own ways and we've seen little bets of this before. Read More...

The Rise Of The Tomb Raider Demo That Should Have Been At Gamescom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A stealthier version of the Rise Of The Tomb Raider demo that was shown off at Gamescom has been released to show combat doesn't have to be used in Rise Of The Tomb Raider If you were like me then you were most likely let down with the first showcase of Rise Of The Tomb Raider during Gamescom. It was claimed to be a stealth gameplay demo just for the show but there was a lot more combat mixed in and a lot less stealth than we should expect in Rise Of The Tomb Raider. It looks like Crystal Dynamics heard or read the outcry there as they have just released a new version of that "stealth" Rise Of The Tomb Raider gameplay footage only this time they really do mean stealth as Lara makes her way through the same area without trying to kill or injure a single person in Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Usually I am all about the killing to get rid of those pesky guards in games like Rise Of The Tomb Raider but that just has never been Lara's style before and more along the lines of Agent 47. Get Ready To Move In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 With New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been released to prep everyone for the Beta and it shows off the new movement mechanics in Black Ops 3 With the multiplayer beta for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 almost here and only a few tidbits of what we will get to experience in it out as of now I'd say it is high time for something new. This is just what we are about to get although I am sure that this is not what fans holding out for the beta are hoping for as we now have a tutorial on the new modes of movement in Black Ops 3 from Treyarch. There is going to be a lot more than just running and jumping here so I guess we needed to have a full on tutorial showcasing it all instead of the maps and modes for the Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta. Get The BFG Ready As We Have A New DOOM Gameplay Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new bit of gameplay for DOOM has been released out there and it shows off some good old fashions demon killing…and the BFG Sometimes in the hullabaloo of things stuff gets lost in the cracks as was the case here with the most recent DOOM trailer that was released. There have been so many new things going on due to Gamescom and a plethora of title releases that this new DOOM trailer was also missed by us here as well. We are sorry for that id Software and now we are going to make up for that. Granted it will only be in the way of showing off the new DOOM trailer to all but at least it is something. Read More...

The Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer 'Beta' Goes Live Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
If you've pre-ordered Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 then you'll be glad to see that the multiplayer beta goes live next week for those PS4 owners If you've pre-order Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 already then you most likely know that the multiplayer "beta" is about to go live soon. At least it will be going live soon for the PS4 version of the game as that kicks off on August 19th as Sony obviously paid more to Activision this year to get Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 all the early stuff instead. All of the Xbox One players and PC players who pre-ordered Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 will still be helping stress test Treyarch's servers on August 26th so don't think that they are getting left out in the dark here. Everyone needs to get in on this to make sure the Black Ops 3 multiplayer runs smoothly for everyone; including the non-pre-order gamers out there. Read More...

Escape Plan Bravo Initiated For Tales From The Borderlands Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2015 - 07:02 PM ]
Episode four for Tales From The Borderlands is releasing next week and we have a few screenshots to whet the whistle for the new addition to Tales From The Borderlands The wait is over as we have a release date for the next episode of Tales From The Borderlands. Only a two month wait for this episode titled Escape Plan Bravo so it looks like Telltale Games is getting back into the swing of things and keeping us all going on their titles. Even better that it is one of their better ones to me and still encompassing around Gearbox's franchise that we are all wait to get another addition to outside of Tales From The Borderlands. Maybe we'll all luck out and Tales From The Borderlands will culminate into an official Borderlands 3 announcement using some of the cannon that is being set here. Read More...

New Rise Of The Tomb Raider Demo Shows Some Tomb Raiding
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The actual demo for Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the Gamescom show floor has been released at it feels much more Tomb Raider-like than ever I am pretty sure now that Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been announced to not only be hitting the Xbox 360 and Xbox One but also the PC and PS4 that Microsoft is not going to do any justice on showing off what we can all look forward to for the game. During Gamescom they showed the world on their huge stage what Rise Of The Tomb Raider would look like on their system only to make Crystal Dynamics' work look like a Thief/Uncharted rip-off. That's how I saw it at least even though I know way better. Read More...

Assassin Twin Powers Activate In Latest Assassin's Creed Syndicate Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new Assassin's Creed Syndicate trailer has debuted at Gamescom and it shows off the two assassin twins and their differences at their finest Just in case we had no clue about the differences between the two playable assassins in Assassin's Creed Syndicate we have yet another trailer to drive that home for us all. Also just so you know, not all twins are the exact same person and you should expect some differences between the two be them vast or minute. Also, not all are identical as is also the case here in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Read More...

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Looks More Like A Stealth Game Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
New gameplay footage for Rise Of The Tomb Raider was shown at Gamescom and it looks like there will be a whole lot more stealth action than remembered in any Tomb Raider title before Another non-shocking title to be shown off today for Microsoft's press event at Gamescom was Rise Of The Tomb Raider. They are so proud to be getting Crystal Dynamics' title to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One first that of course they want to show off all the cool things those gamers will get before the PS4 and PC crowds. Can't fault them for that. Read More...

Quantum Break Will Prove Time Is Power Next April
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
New Quantum Break gameplay footage was shown off at Gamescom as well as a release date for when we can expect Quantum Break to hit the Xbox One We finally got what we have all been promised and that is more footage of Quantum Break right from Gamescom this year. During the Microsoft press event the team from Remedy Games not only showed a new trailer but also showed another good chunk of Quantum Break gameplay as well as showing us the level of star power that the developer and publisher were able to get on board for Quantum Break. I am sure you'll see quite a few familiar faces in the videos below at least if you are a fan of anything in the geek/nerd genre of culture. I mean if you are getting excited for Quantum Break on the Xbox One then you will most likely know all of the faces here. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/27/15 — 7/31/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week in video games is down and we are gearing up for another. More reviews and more news for all kinds of video games to come. I truly love that we were able to bookend this week with Until Dawn and had quite a few other zombie type announcements with Zombi and Advanced Warfare DLC. That is also if we miss out on the world of video games getting Mafia 3 coming with more news next week on that. I guess there will be a lot more news during Gamescom but we'll all have to wait and see as the crowds descend on all of those video games being shown out there. Read More...
