Time To Meet LittleBigPlanet 3's Toggle
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
New and fun details bout LittleBigPlanet 3's new character named Toggle have been handed out and we have them below To be honest I think we all got to meet this new character for LittleBigPlanet 3 back at E3. At least to some extent but for some that may not be enough. Seeing as Sumo Digital and Sony PlayStation have taken their time to get intricate with Toggle for the PS3 and PS4 release of LittleBigPlanet 3 it makes sense that they would want us to know he is more than just a ne character that can get big and small on command. Toggle is more than just a cog in the puzzle machine and has a personality full of all kinds of things. These personality traits for Toggle have been recently detailed on the UK PlayStation Blog and brought over here for your reading pleasure. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of October 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The final behind the scenes video for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has been released from Gearbox and 2K Games to show off all the weapons and beyond for the game We are on the verge of the release for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and it is time to wrap up this whole behind the scenes look at how and why Gearbox and 2K are making the game. With that we also get a nice look at the design and ideas behind all of the weapons we have grown to love in Borderlands and Borderlands 2 as well as what we are to expect in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Yes they've gone over the new weapon types and everything umpteen times before but this time it is more the look and feel instead of the actual effects and damage numbers that get output to the screen. Review: Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes. It's time to take Disney's new Marvel acquisition for a ride in the toy box franchise The next major update for Disney Infinity has come and now we have Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes to look forward to as the Marvel IPs get added into the toy box universe that has been slowly building steam in the collectible toy video game genre that has been booming for the kiddies. In the mix of Marvel's popularity it makes perfect sense for Disney and Avalanche Software to capitalize. The big question though is does Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes succeed at giving us all a fun adventure or just turn into an extremely expensive game to keep the wallets with pigtails dropping cash. We Now Get To Be The Zombie In Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
It's just been announced that we are no longer limited to playing a survivor in Dying Light but we can be the zombie in the game This may be shocking news to most but not to me as now we can play as the zombie in Dying Light. It's not too shocking to me as this seems the way that most games that have a forced multiplayer aspect have been going as of late; especially when it comes to games that have a monster type hunting. None the less, Techland and Warner Bros. have made the announcement official and we will be able to play as one of the infected during Dying Light. Read More...

Skylanders Trap Team Adds More Kaos To The Mix
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new gameplay mode for Skylanders Trap Team has been announced called the Kaos Doom Challenge and plays like a tower defense Just in case giving us the ability to use and play as the villains in Skylanders Trap Team wasn't enough, it looks like we are getting yet another mode to play the game in. No longer do we have just a fun little platformer game but now we are looking at a "tower defense" of sorts making its way into the game in the form of the Kaos Doom Challenge. There is something about that word and Kaos that I can't just seem to put my finger on…* Anyways, this new gameplay mode for Skylanders Trap Team looks to pit players and all of their Skylanders in a 100 wave of "doom" where enemies will be flooding the arena to take you down. Mixed in will be the "Mystery Box of Doom" that will unleash gigantic villains into the mix to ensure your ultimate doom. Read More...

Dying Light Has A Shiny New Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The new release date for Dying Light has been announced and it is sooner than we all thought it might be I don't know about you but I was really let down that I wouldn't be able to play Dying Light this October. When it was delayed I could do nothing but question "why?" when the game looked polished enough when I saw it at all the past conventions. None the less it was claimed that Dying Light wasn't going to be hitting the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC until February of 2015. Such a huge delay and in the mix of all the Resident Evil fun that has already been announced to boot. Read More...

See How Natural The Movement Of Dying Light Truly Is
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for Dying Light has been released to lead into PAX Prime with and to show off the freedom of movement that the game allows for It's that time again to dig into the mechanics of another title and this time it is Dying Light's free movement and how it has evolved from the original design. Like for instance the fact that it was going to be simulated free movement at the beginning until the level design was too bogged down and still didn't feel fully free. I bet you didn't unless you jumped down to the Dying Light dev. Read More...

The Release Date For Escape Dead Island Has Been Unraveled
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Escape Dead Island has been released from Fatshark and Deep Silver with a release date mixed in It's only been a few days now since we brought you a few new looks at Escape Dead Island. We pondered on the release date for the game and now it looks like we will all be getting to Escape Dead Island on our PS3, Xbox 360, or PC on November 18th. A little late for Halloween but that most likely means that Fatshark wasn't being rushed to meet the horror month deadline for their new take on the Dead Island franchise. Not that we won't be plagued with Zombies and Aliens already during that time. Read More...

You Can't Escape These New Escape Dead Island Screenshots
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A few new screenshots for Escape Dead Island have popped up online and it looks like there is a fan favorite in the mix If there is one title still to come this year that I am overly excited for it is Escape Dead Island from Fatshark and Deep Silver. At SDCC the game looked like so much fun with an amazing twist on the franchise as a whole. All that said, you best know that I would get all tickled red when a few new screen shots crop up for all of us to gander and speculate over. That is just what we have a bit lower on the page for you at that. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of August 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming It was Gamescom week so as to be expected the gaming news came rolling in nonstop. We are still trying to recover and get everything we can out there for you readers. There were some ups, like Until Dawn getting revitalized for the PS4, and then there were some downs, like Rise Of The Tomb Raider being slated as an Xbox exclusive for a bit of time. Then again that is only bad news for those out there planning on playing the game on a PlayStation or PC so you can take that as you will for now. Another bit of interesting-ness in the world of gaming is that it seemed like there was a hard push for horror games this week. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 8/4/14 — 8/8/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of August 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming It sure feels like this week has been one big tease for gaming news. Yes there were a few new items out there and such but it really felt like there was a lot "here's something but you have to wait for the full thing still." I hate teases. Especially when they lead to a whole lot of nothing and waiting for weeks to pass by. Nothing worse for us in the gaming world is there? Read More...

Is It Butt-Slam Or Butt-Stomp In Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The next episode of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel behind the scenes series is out and covers some of the game's mechanics Here we go with part two of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel "making of" YouTube series. Part One covered how the two studios were handling the workload and physical separation. Part two here looks to cover some of the ne mechanics that will make Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel feel like a Borderlands game but "take risks" Gearbox and 2K didn't want to take in the previous titles. Hooray for being guinea pigs with something the publisher didn't have faith in two times already… Ok, well maybe not something they didn't believe in but something that the people making Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel have had time to perfect to give us that added bonus while playing.
