This Week In Video Games 4/1/19 — 4/5/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of April 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when you think that things may have slowed down for all of our video games, we are surprised and see a whole lot more out there. This seems like something we say almost every week, but it is worth it as there was a whole lot to unpack. More surprising is the fact that we did not have to wade through much for April Fool's Day even though the RAGE 2 DLC sounds like it. Thankfully, we had much more for Layers Of Fear 2, Man Of Medan, and World War Z to look at to keep us focused on real video games and nothing false floated out there. Read More...

New Gameplay And Name Is Here For The Upcoming Darkborn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Darkborn Project Wight is now known as Darkborn and we have a whole lot of new gameplay to show off how Darkborn has evolved since we last saw it It looks like the old Project Wight is no more as it will now be known as Darkborn from henceforward. Not that The Outsiders has scrapped the former title, but that was just the working title before we have the current name of this interesting title set down to be able to know what game we are talking about. Not the biggest of news here unless you are overly excited for just something named Darkborn. I guess this is why we also have some new gameplay for the game to dive into and see how it has progressed. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of March 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Such a huge week for all video games this was and I am not talking about just having GDC come and go. While there was a whole lot that came out of that, there was also a whole lot that came out outside of the major convention. From the multiple announcements from the various System Shock titles to the constant updates of Mortal Kombat 11 we also had. All to the biggest news, for me at least, with Bloodline 2 having the announcement and more coming to Mutant Year Zero. Read More...

System Shock 3 Has A New Tease Fresh From GDC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
System Shock Work is still underway for System Shock 3 and we have a nice new tease to take in for System Shock 3 right from the Game Developers Conference It has been a rocky start and continuation for System Shock 3, but that has not stopped Otherside Entertainment from working on a game they obviously love and want to get out to the public. That how all developers should be and even in the wave of ditching the publisher for the game, they are still making strides into getting it out there and pleasing all of the fans out there. This is made more evident by the latest teaser we have for System Shock 3 that was made part of the Unity Keynote during GDC this year. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/11/19 — 3/15/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of March 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over and it is time to take a deserved break with more video games. This time in the way of actually getting to play them and not just write about them. Not that we did not like the fact that Ashes Of Oahu now has a set timeline to release or that The Division 2 had so many updates before we can play it now. I would rather just be playing that hearing all of the teases out there. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/4/19 — 3/8/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 9th of March 2019 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week in the bag and all kinds of stuff was out there for our favorite video games. It felt like the same rollercoaster we have been used to as of late with the ups and downs and teases. Just like the new gameplay we had for Days Gone and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Also some new stuff for Mortal Kombat 11 and sadly a delay to The Sinking City. Read More...

The Serpent’s Heart Beats Now For Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of March 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider The next DLC for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is now available and brings with it more than you may have expected for this Tomb Raider title A new bit of DLC for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has slithered its way out there in the form of The Serpent’s Heart. Yes, it is yet another bit that has not been given a huge build-up before now but Eidos-Montréal has made it and we need to play it. At least if you are still taking full dives into what Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has to offer in the mix of everything else. There is no doubt that it is still going strong post-launch but the way this DLC is dropping it seems like the team over there is only aiming at the smaller group of folks still keeping their discs inserted for now. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of March 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th Even though Friday The 13th: The Game cannot be given new content, that does not mean we will not see Friday The 13th make the jump to the Switch Just when you may have thought you would not hear more about Friday The 13th: The Game, we have some new information to bring you about the game. Sadly, it is nothing in the way of Gun Media being able to get more and new content mixed into the game due to all of the legal issues that would involve. What we do have is word that Switch gamers will soon be able to join in the fun of Friday The 13th on their platform. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 2nd of March 2019 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Thus concludes our broadcast week with so many cool new things coming out for all of our video games new and old. Even old in the way of Resident Evil and Final Fantasy find some new homes on the Switch. Some of the new in the way of World War Z getting another look at the undead and then The Division 2 flowing into its Beta right now. Something that I wish more video games would stop doing, as it is never a true beta. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week down and another week full of all kinds of information for our favorite video games. Or games that could be our favorites as we still wait for The Division 2 and The Occupation to launch. I guess it also goes for all of that DLC we are waiting on as Tekken 7 is getting an update and the Final Fantasy XV as well. It is always good to see how these video games will push forward after launch and then offer us much more enjoyment. Read More...

Eternity: The Last Unicorn Has Been Given A Final Release Date
by Chris Avila [ Wednesday, 20th of February 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Eternity The release date for Eternity: The Last Unicorn is now set down and we can look to play Eternity early into March of this year You read it all right; we have a release date for Eternity: The Last Unicorn to look forward to now and it is not too far off. In fact, if looks like 1C Entertainment will be bringing us all the game here on March 5th for the PS4 and PC. It looks like the Xbox One gamers will need to wait a bit longer as Void Studios needed a bit more time to get it all correct for you. At least that would be the assumption as of now as there is no word on when Eternity will be coming to that console. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/11/19 — 2/15/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 16th of February 2019 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just like that, another week in the bag and a whole lot of video games out there to play. Today, and this week, brought a whole lot of new video games to market as well as a load of DLC for some of those existing ones already. One of the bigger ones being Metro Exodus certainly, but we also had a chance to dig into more for Days Gone and Devil May Cry 5 too. Also with some new confirmations for Catherine and Mortal Kombat 11 in the mix too. Read More...
