by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
The Division The dates for The Division's beta test has been revealed and we all will soon be having a taste of what The Division has to offer us all We finally have a date for the beta test for The Division and it is only a little over a week away. Of course it is closer for those who pre-ordered the game on Xbox One but Ubisoft is only given them a slight head start in terms of a day. That day of course being January 28th for those users. Those gamers who chose to get The Division on the PS4 and/or PC will have to wait until January 29th to join the fun but at least it will all run to the end of the month. Read More...

A Collector's Edition Of Hitman Has Crept Out To The Open
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Hitman The Hitman collector's edition has been shown off and now we can see all of those fun Hitman extras that will keep us between episodes Right on the heels of the announcement that Hitman is going to be an episodic title we have a look at the collector's edition of the game. If I didn't know better I'd guess that Io Interactive and/or Square Enix were trying to divert away from the episodic announcement for Hitman with something awesome to get on March 11th but that is how it seems. None the less we know have all the details on what we will get if we choose to shell out all of the cash out the gate for Hitman. Let's dig on in. Read More...

Hitman Has Now Become An Episodic Title, But Not Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Hitman The announcement that Hitman has now become and episodic title has been made but the good news is that Hitman's release date is still set for the first 'episode' Let the groans begin as Hitman has now become a fully episodic title as the structure is changed yet again. At least Io Interactive didn't delay the game again right? It is still slated for a March 11th release date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC but instead of getting the full Hitman game we will only be getting the Prologue mission and the Paris location to play around with and then each of the remain five areas as we progress further into the year. Episodic does seem to be the way of Square Enix now doesn't it? Read More...

See The Journey That The Division's Agents Will Be Taking
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
The Division A new trailer for Tom Clancy's The Division has been released and it looks to detail the journey that The Division's agents will take throughout the game Hopefully you haven't been waiting too patiently for more on The Division as we head into the new year here. March 8th is still the day that the game will be releasing but we all know Ubisoft has been a bit light on the true announcements for The Division as well as when the beta for the game would be going live. That all ends now as we have another great in-game trailer for The Division that happens to show off the epic and explosive journey we will have when playing as one of the agents in the game. Also maybe some insight on when The Division's beta will go live. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Homefront A new gameplay trailer for Homefront: The Revolution has been released to show off the world of Homefront more as well as confirms the release date that was rumored before It looks like the Homefront: The Revolution release date that was "leaked" last week has now been confirmed with the latest trailer for the game from Dambuster Studios. I had a feeling that Deep Silver would get in front of this release date issue and let us all know and now we can confirm that Homefront: The Revolution will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 17th 2016 here in the NA region. May 20th for those in the EU region. Read More...

CES 2016 Hands On — Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Oculus While at CES 2016 I was able to play with the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch in a more intimate setting than just a video. Here's my take on the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch Obviously one of the big items around CES 2016 was the Oculus Rift; especially since it went up for pre-order and all of the new details cropped up just at the beginning of the show. That of course led to a whole lot of debate on if the Oculus Rift was going to be worth the $600 price tag out the door or if it was going to be another overpriced gizmo with a lot of buyer's remorse. This led me to take over the job of checking out the hardware of the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch controllers to see if the price point made sense for where the system is now or if, like I said, it was something that could be left behind. This Week In Video Games 1/4/15 — 1/8/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 9th of January 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It doesn't look like we started the new year in video games out with as quite a bang as many were hoping. Rumors and delays were all over the place this week and that doesn't bode well for the rest of the year. Hells, even the announcement of the Oculus Rift's release date and price didn't go over all that well. Thankfully we had the "leaked" release date for Homefront and a good look at some stuff out of CES 2016; like Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and a few other items yet to be talked about on the site. CES 2016 Hands On — Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Rush Of Blood While At CES I Was Able To See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood It was only announced a few months ago but Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was one of the huge titles on display at CES 2016 in Sony's VR section of their booth. PlayStation didn't have a huge section this year but this Supermassive Games spin off from the main title was one of the bigger things for the PS4 and PlayStation VR here. Lines were up to an hour and a half long to play the ten minute demo of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and I braved it just for you so I could let you know how the game is shaping up for all of us. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 kicks off next week for the console players and it will give us all a nice look at Garden Warfare 2's new Heroes and much more If February 23rd is too far off for you to play Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 then you can try to get in on the ground floor of the game as PopCap Games is bringing us all a multiplayer beta next week. In fact it will be running from the 14th to the 18th of next week as long as you are looking to play Garden Warfare 2 on your PS4 and/or Xbox One. First Screenshot For Outlast 2 Is Here To Drive Terror
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 The first screenshot for Outlast 2 has been released to show how evolved the gameplay will be in Outlast 2 over its predecessor It has been a few months since we had a nice teaser for Outlast 2 and some form of update on the game progress in development from Red Barrels. As we roll into 2016 we are most likely going to get a whole lot more on this amazing horror game that is still slated for a Halloween release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For now though it looks like we are going to have to deal with just a nice little screenshot from the game to keep our blood boiling and ready for Outlast 2 in some form. Or you know; you can just go play Outlast again and get a good fright. Read More...

Homefront: The Revolution's Release Date Might Have Been Leaked
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Homefront: The Revolution A new pre-order card for Homefront: The Revolution found in Target might have just given us a look at when Homefront: The Revolution may be releasing this year It has yet to be completely confirmed but we may have a release date for Homefront: The Revolution. At least if the pre-order card for the game at Target is correct and Dambuster Studios is about to wrap up their development cycle on the game. As it looks the release date for Homefront: The Revolution could be May 17th of this year for the at least the Xbox One but if true I think it would be safe to assume that it would be the same for the PS4 and PC versions of Homefront: The Revolution. It would make sense. Read More...

Oculus Rift The pre-orders for the Oculus Rift are up and running and it looks like we will be getting an Oculus Rift in home by the end of March or early April The wait is now over for the Oculus Rift…to some extent. Pre-orders are now live over on their site and we now have a price and an expected release window for this year. That would be sometime around the end of March or early April depending on who you hear from. As of this writing mine is stating that it will ship in April of 2016 but I have seen others claim sometime in March. Read More...

Review — Hitman: Agent 47 [Blu-Ray]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Hitman: Agent 47 Hitman: Agent 47 has recently hit the small screens of home with new content. We had a chance to sit down and break the film down piece by piece. Here is our review of Hitman: Agent 47 Here we go with yet another film based on a video game here with Hitman: Agent 47. Originally it released in theaters on August 21st of 2015 but the home version of the film has finally been released and I had a chance to sit back and take in this rendition of Io Interactive's Hitman franchise. The previous installment wasn't accepted greatly by the fans of the video game but Hitman: Agent 47 looks like it gets a few things right from the onset. But looks can be deceiving. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV The release date for Final Fantasy XV is still a guarded secret but it looks like we may find out Final Fantasy XV's release date sometime in March of this year The release date for Final Fantasy XV has and will still be a huge topic until we finally find out when the game is landing on the PS4 and Xbox One. In fact over the holiday break most of us just had it looks like Square Enix and Hajime Tabata gave us at least the year that Final Fantasy XV will be landing in. That would for certain be 2016. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of December 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with our last week in video games and we tried to end on a bang. Even during the times when video game news is slim to nil we brought you what we could. It was a lot of Rise Of The Tomb Raider and Friday The 13th news but we also had a nice review out there for Amplitude. Also the fluff of free PlayStation and Xbox games coming early next year. All sorts of great video games and news to go along with them. Read More...
