Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site There goes yet another week with a whole lot of video games in the mix to talk about and boy did we. Darksiders We sit down and review Darksiders Warmastered Edition. The original game has been remastered for a new generation and platforms. Here's our review of Darksiders Warmastered Edition Last year we were able to see Darksiders 2 get the remaster that it deserved and now here we are with Darksiders Warmastered Edition to remaster the title that started it all. Not only that but THQ Nordic is the one bringing it back to us after KAIKO did all the remastering work. Not a bad combination and it also allows us and new gamers to experience Darksiders on a few more platforms that it had never been on to date. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV Details on Final Fantasy XV's first DLC, Holiday Pack, have been given and it looks like Final Fantasy XV is going to be festive in its own way; paid or not We've seen all of the teases and semi-updates for the Final Fantasy XV DLC that will be coming and as expected, it looks like that Holiday Pack bit is just about to hit us. As in next week we should be seeing all of the new bits added to the game from Square Enix just for those who have picked up the Season Pass or choose to purchase it all on its own. But wouldn't you know, given the holiday season, this bit of DLC for Final Fantasy XV isn't going to be reserved just for those who dropped the extra $25 USD for the pass but also for anyone who dropped the cash to pick up the full game already. ARK Park A new VR experience is coming with ARK Park as it will expand on aspects of the core title that ARK Park's VR would only be able to deliver to us all We've seen a few VR experiences that give us a feel for Jurassic Park but it looks like we are going to be getting a solid on here with ARK Park in 2017. At least a version that does what the original parks were intending to do without all of the crazy need to not be killed by dinosaur's aspect of it all. I guess Snail Games is going to leave all of that to ARK: Survival Evolved given that ARK Park is based in the same game universe and all about the fun experiences and not the dread of having to outrun all of those horrible beasts. Call Of Cthulhu New screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released and they show a few more areas in the game as well as some Call Of Cthulhu locals who we will have to handle It looks like the Elder Gods are happy with where we have the world now as we have been graced with a few more screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu. That would be the video game version of the franchise for those who stumbled in here looking for the many other forms of it all that Cyanide Studios is using to craft the game. There really are quite a few out there and this version of Call Of Cthulhu looks to give us a taste of madness in the digital form as we try to figure out what is going on within the island of Darkwater. Styx Another gameplay trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been released and this one shows off a few more of the tricks Styx has picked up since the last game I know I can never seem to get enough Styx: Shards Of Darkness and it looks like we have even more to sate some of our needs until March of next year when we can play the full game. I just love this little guy that Cyanide Studios has created for us and he only seems to get better with each new video and showcasing we get to see. King's Quest We sit down and review King's Quest: The Good Knight. This is the fifth episode of The Odd Gentlemen's reboot to the famed franchise from Sierra Entertainment. Here's our review of King's Quest: The Good Knight It seems like it took forever to get to, but we are finally here and we have the final episode of King's Quest and the epic conclusion to the story we've slowly been living out over the last year. That is one of the huge issues with episodic titles but The Odd Gentlemen made it to the end and we can all see how they did with the reboot to Sierra Entertainment's huge franchise. Also to see if it should be on your list of games to give a try now that you can experience King's Quest all in one solid sitting. Read More...

The Surge More gameplay for The Surge has been released to give us a look at some of the systems in The Surge during the pre-alpha phase of it all It is always a nice day when we get more gameplay for any video game and here we go with more for The Surge. Sure this isn't the first bit of gameplay that we've seen for the game but it is the most recent given to us from Deck 13 and to show off some of the game's mechanics that may not have been focused on during Gamescom or E3 in the past. Maybe they were in smaller viewings but that doesn't detract that Focus Home Interactive has released some new gameplay for The Surge for all of us to enjoy. Or not enjoy. Read More...

Space Hulk After a slight delay, Space Hulk: Deathwing is just about to launch and we have a new trailer to get us amped up for Space Hulk: Deathwing's big day on PC It looks like the day is almost here that Space Hulk: Deathwing is going to release. After its recent beta it was hit with a very slight delay but it seems that Streum On Studio hammered all of that out as the game is hitting PCs here this week. Along with all of that, we also have a new trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off all of the winning points that Focus Home Interactive wants us to focus on. Not that there aren't many more but this is just how launch trailers usually roll and it doesn't leave a lot of us wanting…at least unless you don't plan on picking up the game at launch after this. Nintendo The Japanese version of Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios now has an opening window for when fans can experience Nintendo like never before If you are one of those gamers who like to plan ahead then get your planner out right now as it looks like Super Nintendo World will be coming at us sometime before the Summer of 2020. At least to the Universal Parks in Japan as it has been announced that the aim is to get the addition built, staffed, and open before the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Only a short three to four year wait and such but it's still better than just saying "it's coming" over and over. Read More...

Batman A new episode of Batman: Unmasked has debuted and in it, like always, is a new teaser for Batman: The Telltale Series next and final episode of season one Next week we are going to see how the amazing first season of Batman: The Telltale Series is going to end. December 13th for those who still don't know the exact day. It all comes to an end and we see what Telltale Games has been building to over the amazing first season of the game. Resident Evil 7 The Resident Evil 7 gameplay that we had before has been released without overlaid commentary & it makes Resident Evil 7 look truly terrifying Last week, if you recall, we were able to see a lot of other media outlets talk about Resident Evil 7 in terms of a huge demo they were able to play. Something like four to five hours they were able to play and then they all had their little videos describing it all over some great looking b-roll that Capcom provided them. It looked nice but we were all forced to hear about Resident Evil 7 through their point of view when we had some solid gameplay to look at in the background. Read More...

Hitman A new mission for Hitman is going to be coming and it brings the Holiday spirit to Hitman as we kill two Grinches in the middle of Paris Nothing gets you into the Holiday Spirit more than alcohol free video game updates and Hitman it surprisingly joining in the mix of things to let us kill a few more people during the joyous season. Not only that but it looks like Io Interactive and Square Enix are not just bringing more to play for the game in terms of a new full mission but it will also be doled out to all of us for free. Absolver At PSX Absolver had some new gameplay shown off to the world as well as a new platform Absolver has been confirmed for Maybe you remember and maybe you don't, but back in May we had a look at a new title called Absolver. There has been some time from then to now so it wouldn't be a shocker if you forgot. This is a new title from developers Sloclap that is slated to hit the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 sometime next year.
