Hellsinger A new rhythm-shooter, Metal: Hellsinger, is announced with Hellsinger mixing up the FPS and Rhythm genre to keep the blood pounding in our ears It is not like it has not been done before, but the rhythm genre and the FPS genre do not always seem like a go-to when thinking about a game, but here we are with the announcement for Metal: Hellsinger. This would be the next attempt at this style of game from The Outsiders and Funcom slated to hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC sometime next year. As the name kind of describes, Metal: Hellsinger is going to focus more on the heavy metal side of the music as we run ourselves through a hellish landscape slaying demons and devils to the beat of some amazing guitar licks and brutal screams. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this week is over and it was an insane one and not in the way of video games here. We will not dive into that, but given that there were a lot more fluff pieces and only a few updates for titles like The Last Of Us Part II and Godfall, one can get a bit of an idea of it all. That is, if they are not just living in all of the bullshit we have right now. It is what it is and, thankfully, we have our video games to fall back on. Read More...

Mortal Kombat We sit down and review Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath. A new story expansion for Mortal Kombat 11 with other updates. Here is our review it all There have been a whole lot of updates and DLC for Mortal Kombat 11 so far since it first dropped on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Most of which have been character add ons and then the normal tweaks that NetherRealm Studios has to do so they can keep the game balanced and accessible to all fans as things march forward. Most of the time, this is for the multiplayer aspect of the game and not for those that play for the story and lore. The team has done wonders to push that forward in the genre and franchise so far. The Fabled Woods The announcement for The Fabled Woods is here to give us a very slight taste of the story we will experience in The Fabled Woods A new narrative walking-simulator is coming, as we have the announcement for The Fabled Woods coming from CyberPunch Studios and Headup. All for those looking to have a bit of extra fun on the PC around the end of the year. Q4 is the current release window for The Fabled Woods with not much else to go on for when about. We could speculate all day about that but instead will focus on the fact that we also have an announcement trailer to take in and enjoy along with just the words. Read More...

The Last Of Us The next developer diary for The Last Of Us Part II is out there and it shows more for the different factions and enemies added into The Last Of Us Just when we thought we were only going to be getting a TV spot this week for The Last Of Us Part II, we are back with the next developer diary for the game. Some of us forgot that Naughty Dog was going to be doing these all the way up to the launch on June 19th to give us a little more on what is going on in the game. This time around, it is a bit more on the world built for The Last Of Us Part II here and how it is still using many things from before but advancing as people would in these situations. The Last Of Us A new TV spot for The Last Of Us Part II is out there that may give a few more hints to what is going on in The Last Of Us Part II Now that we have had the nice big show for The Last Of Us Part II last week, it would make sense that we would not see much more until the June 16th here. So far Naughty Dog has done a great job at keeping it all well obfuscated to keep spoilers off the internet. That is why it is a little surprising that we have a new video for The Last Of Us Part II right now that shows off a bit of what can be assumed to be part of the story. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week As we figured, this was a shorter week for all of those announcements and showings for our video games. That is not to say we did not have some great stuff to see, just a little less than normal given the American holiday that took place and so many places being closed. We did get the highlight of The Last Of Us Part II gameplay and a whole lot more for Outriders too. Also the list of free video games coming to us next week for the PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The Last Of Us The latest State Of Play covered everything in The Last Of Us Part II with a nice new chunk of gameplay never before seen for The Last Of Us Part II Here with go with that huge gameplay bit we have all been waiting for when it comes to The Last Of Us Part II. Huge in the way that it does show us a whole lot of new things and changes that Naughty Dog is bringing us, but also huge in the fact that it is close to twenty-three minutes of footage to take in. Some of it is just overview and bit from trailers we have seen before, but there is so much more for The Last Of Us Part II most of us have not had a chance to see as of yet. Nothing in the way of anything huge and spoilery as long as you have played the first title as it does go into a bit of what happened there and why the crew is where they are now. Read More...

Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with another week of video games in the pipes and ready for more to enjoy. Persistence The launch of The Persistence is finally here and we have a new trailer to show off the creepier aspects of The Persistence before playing Today is the day, weirdly, that we are seeing the launch of The Persistence out there for us all. Not the day of the week that we are used to of course, but it is the day that Firesprite Games is getting their game out there for us to enjoy. Maybe they are just trying to be the rush of a few other titles that launch tomorrow or on Tuesday next week? It is possible, but it does not change the fact that The Persistence is launching here and we have one more trailer to try to sell you on picking up the digital version of the game. Read More...
