It has been a bit since we have had any good and fun news about Funcom's upcoming MMO The Secret World. Am I right or am I right? We are still waiting for the continuation of those cool and creepy videos they were pumping out over last Summer, but it doesn't look like that is coming just yet. The New Year is just around the corner, and players are anxiously awaiting a slew of games to be released in the 1rst quarter.  Well unfortunately some of the heavy hitters that were planned on being released have been announced as pushed back until later next year. Bethesda's shooter Brink which was scheduled to be released in spring of 2010, got pushed back to a fall release for all platforms.  Brink is the Splash Damage title that we have seen a few snippets of lately.  G4 just recently posted a new video on the title, highlighting the Smart Freedom of Movement system. Magic: The Gathering has been around since 1993, and converting the card game into a video game has been going on since 1997 with its first title Magic: The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalker for the PC. Well we will be getting another Magic: The Gathering game with Wizard of the Coast and Sony Online Entertainment teaming up to develop Magic: The Gathering – Tatics. John Smedley, President of Sony Online Entertainment recently said, “By collaborating with Wizards of the Coast, we're able to combine the strengths of both companies to develop an innovative, online, 3D game based on an extremely popular IP. Harmonix and MTV announced today that they are gonna rock your socks off with the latest DLC for Rock Band just in time for Halloween. The pack for the PS3, XBox 360, and Nintendo Wii will include songs from Rob Zombie, Wolfmother as well as tracks from Liz Phair and Morningwood. All to be added next week to the Rock Band Music Store. Don't worry for those who owns Rock Band Unplugged, they didn't forget about you for they have tracks from Sonic Youth and Steely Dan ready for you next week for your PSP system. So what is this game then if it isn't the next IP for the Jurassic Park franchise? Pretty much another dinosaur shooter style game with one major twist that others do not have. What would this twist be? Not that you are another space marine traveled through time and space and ends up in a jurassic era, but that you are a "normalish" adventurer and weapons master. Ok, so it is no surprise that another movie is getting the video game treatment. This time Clash of the Titans from Legendary Pictures is getting it's very own game based on the original film and the remake that is coming out next year. When you think about it, it could be a decent game, if done in the same epic style as God of War and Dante's Inferno. That's a heck of a visual isn't it? GTA IV, Street Fighter IV, Star Wars: The Force Unleased, Left 4 Dead, and Saints Row 2 are the latest candidates for the Platinum Hits treatment. So back in August, Namco Bandai and Heavenly Sword developer Ninja Theory announced at Gamecom that they would be creating a partnership together. They also announced they would be developing a "blockbuster title with strong pan-Western sensibilities" for PS3 and XBox 360. Well now we have details on that very title. Now The Beatles have started to dominate the gaming industry with the latest iteration of Rock Band, which is one of the greatest rhythm games ever, in my opinion. It happened the first go around, where they sent out a video for the game then followed it the next day with a few images and a new facts about the game.
