Robinson The first developer diary for Robinson: The Journey has been released and we can see how Robinson: The Journey has been crafted for PlayStation VR from the start Maybe you've heard of Robinson: The Journey or maybe you haven't. This would be the new PlayStation VR experience that Crytek has been working on that will take us into the land of dinosaurs and hopefully let us have the best experience ever. That would be the long and short of Robinson: The Journey as there still is no release date or much in ways of gameplay mechanics but we do have a new behind the scenes video to look at to see just how the game has been crafted to give us a true experience and game at the same time. South Park A new video for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been released and it pokes fun at the Oculus Rift in only a way that South Park can Hopefully by now you are fully aware of the crude and toilet humor that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is going to have mixed into the game. If you clicked in here than you have to know as the franchise is heading into its 20 season and this will be Ubisoft's second major foray into crafting an RPG for the franchise. It is still slated for a December 6th release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC before you fear that it was delayed but it does look like Gamescom may have something stinky from this South Park title on hand during the major convention. Gwent The closed beta date for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has been pushed off from the original timeline but now we have a solid date for Gwent's closed beta now I hope you weren't sitting around waiting to find out the specific date in September you might be able to give Gwent: The Witcher Card Game a play. If you were then you are going to be let down or left wanting as CD Projekt RED has just stated that they are going to have to delay the closed beta of the game and, most likely, the final release as well. At least it is safe to assume that the full release of Gwent will also be hit with the same delay as I am sure they are going to want to make sure they can get as much testing in before it goes to market; especially based on their reasons for the delay. Dead Rising The remasters of the Dead Rising franchise have a release date just in time for the Dead Rising 10th anniversary that is coming this September Yesterday, August 8th, marked the literal 10th anniversary of Dead Rising's first release date and now it looks like we have a solid date on when we are all going to get to play the remaster of most of the titles that have come out in the franchise to date. I am not certain why Capcom is leaving out the third solid game in the list here but they are. None the less we will be getting all of the other Dead Rising titles remastered and out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13th with all of the usual upgrades and additions we should expect. Gears Of War 4 New gameplay for Gears Of War 4 has been released and it is aimed to show us how the new enemies of Gears Of War 4, the Deebee, will be a force to fear Only a few months now until we will be playing Gears Of War 4 and seeing all of the new features, missions, and enemies coming to the franchise. The Coalition has been working hard on it all and October 11th will be the date that we all get to see the game in action on the Xbox One and Windows PC. Thankfully though, we won't have to wait that long to get to see some of the new enemies for Gears Of War 4 as we have some new gameplay to look at as Old-Man Fenix and his son fight their way through the game's world and the new enemies called the Deebee. The Technomancer We sit down and review The Technomancer. It's the developer's next foray into the RPG realm with a cyberpunk feel. Here's our review of The Technomancer Here we go with another lesser known RPG game set in a weird future in terms of The Technomancer. This would be the latest RPG title that Spiders has put out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and so far it has been getting mixed reviews. Thankfully Focus Home Interactive gave us the chance to check out The Technomancer and give it a solid play-though. Prey The first gameplay trailer for Prey has been released out of QuakeCon and now we see how Prey will take a different story path than before It was announced at E3 and now out of QuakeCon this year we have our first bit of gameplay for Prey to gaze upon and see how the reboot is going. I have no doubt that Arkane Studios is going to do an amazing job with this iteration of the game given their past but it is nice to be able to see it all in action. Great minds think alien here as Bethesda has given us that taste of Prey that we are all looking for as we wait until 2017 for it to finally land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Division Rumors of The Division getting a full length feature film have been put to rest as The Division is now officially getting the film treatment for us all The rumors from last month look to have now been confirmed as we are now getting a feature film based on The Division. Just what everyone wanted out the MMO-like title that Ubisoft pumped out to us earlier this year…I think. In the end it looks like with the successful completion of their other film titles based on their game IPs, they wanted to make sure we all had more of The Division than just DLC and expansion that are already planned. At least that is how they have been approaching everything from Assassin's Creed to Watch Dogs lately. Read More...

Hellblade Another showing of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is out there and this one shows just how Hellblade will be changing real-time cinematography for the better Even though there is still no release date for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice I do have to say that with each small update we get I am overly impressed with what the team over there is getting up to. Even if Ninja Theory never brought the game to market, all of the advancements in how cinematic games can be made they are bringing would be worth it. Especial after seeing a more advanced version of Hellblade's real-time cinematic capturing software we are truly in a new age. Read More...

Fallout A new Fan TV series call Fallout: Revelation has a third of its pilot out there and ready for us to see a serious side of Fallout instead of the humor We've all come to love Fallout in many forms. Of course we have the game and there have been a few fun and humorous fan films and web series made but now it looks like we are going a bit more serious as we now have another Fan TV series out of MechanicalCake. Here we have Fallout: Revelation a new serious story in the universe. But let it be known that it is not affiliated with Bethesda directly, yet, as the team is looking to delve into the reason that the bombs were dropped in the Fallout universe and everyone had to hide underground. Injustice 2 At SDCC Injustice 2 received two more characters into the mix with a classic character and a new one just for Injustice 2 fitting into the story Given that SDCC is all about the comic books, or at least should be, it makes it the fitting place to see two more characters added to the roster of Injustice 2. So far we've only seen six characters make the leap from NetherRealm Studios' last title to the new one with about half of them being completely new to the franchise altogether. South Park A new behind the scenes video for South Park: The Fractured But Whole was revealed at SDCC during the big South Park anniversary panel and it has just that extra spice This was the year of the 20th season of South Park and as part of the big celebration of it all we had another great look at South Park: The Fractured But Whole out at SDCC. Not only did Ubisoft have a nice museum set up for The Coon and Friends again but this time they had a nice look at the dynamic duo working on the game in the background. The Walking Dead A few new tidbits for The Walking Dead season three from Telltale have come out of SDCC as well as some new screenshots for The Walking Dead's third season It was stated that we would get some more on the third season of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead during San Diego Comic Con and fans were not let down. At least not let down outside of the fact that we were still left with a whole lot to wonder on as we head toward the new season's release and just what has gone on in the game's world since then. Tomb Raider The official announcement of Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the PS4 has been made and it looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider is getting new content and PSVR support The rumors that Rise Of The Tomb Raider was coming to the PS4 look to have been validated as Square Enix has given the official word on a new 20 Year Celebration edition of the game coming not only to the PS4 but also the Xbox One and PC. All on October 11th just as the rumors stated. The only thing that the rumors didn't state about Rise Of The Tomb Raider was the fact that Crystal Dynamics is also bringing us a new Endurance mode, a new story chapter, and VR support for the PS4 version of the game.
