Gameplay for Yoshimitsu in Tekken 7 has been released and it shows off a rather drastic character design change for the character in Tekken 7 There is still no word on if Tekken 7 will be hitting consoles or the states any time soon but at least we have a look at yet another character that will be gracing the game. The opening cinematic for Tekken 7 has been released for all to see as the launch looms ever closer in Japan and the World Tekken 7 will be hitting the arcades of Japan next week and there will be lines as long as the arcades will allow to play the game. This most likely means that no one will be able to seen that opening cinematic for Tekken 7 as the game will constantly be in motion and use. The extended trailer for Tekken 7 was shown at SDCC this year and we have it here for you to see Well I guess Namco kept their promise of showing more of Tekken 7 at SDCC this year. Although I am pretty sure this was not what fans of the franchise were looking forward to when said promise was made. In fact, if I was as rabid of a fan for Tekken as I am for other franchises I would be a little put out and upset with such a tease. At EVO 2014 in Las Vegas, NV Tekken 7 was announced with a nice little trailer and few to go on It's funny that only a few days ago I was asking myself when Tekken 7 could be coming out. So what do you get when you take two completely different universes and mash them together into one game? No, I am not talking about Marvel vs. Capcom or Super Smash Bros. I am talking about probably one of the biggest mash up to date. At Comic-Con Capcom and Namco have come out to announce Street Fighter X Tekken. This new fighter will utilize the same technology that has been used for Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV where we will get to see Tekken characters like Kazuya Mishima and Nina Williams will make the jump into the new universe being re-imagined using the art style of Street Fighter IV. Surprisingly, there are many out there who are not aware of the Tekken live action film. Not surprisingly, I would consider those people fairly lucky. What's really interesting is that the movie supposedly dropped in the US, LAST NOVEMBER. Does anyone remember this? Essentially, the story was as such: "In the year of 2039, after World Wars destroy much of civilization as we know it, territories are no longer run by governments, but by corporations; the mightiest of which is the Mishima Zaibatsu. In order to keep the masses down, Mishima sponsors the King of Iron Fist Tournament, or Tekken, in which fighters battle until one is left standing, who in turn will receive a lifetime of stardom and wealth. We are introduced to this violent world through the eyes of Jin Kazama, a teenage street fighter who enters the tournament in order to avenge the death of his mother that he blames upon the Mishima Zaibatsu's most powerful and controlling chairman – Heihachi Mishima. Tekken 6 XBox 360 Title Preview: Spring 2009 Trailer Where did all the fighting go in this fighting game? That was something I though after watching the latest trailer for the console version of Tekken 6. I mean watch the trailer and see. There looks to be more going on than just fighting in this fighting game. People with guns, fat guys moving faster than they really should be able too, you get the picture. What this does look like though is that there is the chance there will be more story going on in the game outside of the characters are just getting down and dirty for their own greedy needs.
