Are We Getting Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Teases Now?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
With a recent Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 update it looks like a viral campaign for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 could be on the way A bit of new viral marketing out now may be pointing that Activision and Treyarch may be working on Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 for this year's release. This one has quite a bit of back story and digging around to get the ball rolling but there is definitely something brewing here. In fact this all started with the most recent update for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 where a YouTube streamer happened upon a few updated materials in the game that had a SnapChat QR code pasted over the original image. Using said QR code takes you to the befriending page for the Call Of Duty SnapChat account which is where some people thought it would end. Read More...

Square Enix Wants To Prove We Can't Kill Progress
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new interactive and viral video stream reveal from Square Enix has arisen and all we know is you Can't Kill Progress If you have been keeping tabs on the weird stuff on the internet over the last few days then you may have heard or seen the Can't Kill Progress video stream taking place as I type and you read. This is all part of some huge game reveal from Square Enix and one of their Western developers and kind of shows how depraved humans truly are. As of right now the titles we can speculate on here are Can't Kill Progress and Project CKP and the video shows a man being broken down and "tortured" in a small cell. Read More...

The launch trailer for Mortal Kombat X that was directed by one of System Of A Down has been released for the world It looks like the Mortal Kombat X mass push for updates will be coming to an end as we now have that Launch Trailer that was teased a little while back. There was a sneak peak but it really didn't give us any insight as to what we may see in the Mortal Kombat X launch trailer. Well the wait is now over and now we just have to wait a week more to make heads and tails of everything that we are going to see here. Read More...

Goro Truly Lives On In Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We had out first real look at the Goro DLC for Mortal Kombat X and it is all about the Punch Walk If you were not too busy over this Easter weekend then you would have been in for another Mortal Kombat X treat. The first gameplay for Goro was shown off during an Amazon All Access event. More than just Goro was shown off during the five hour stream with NetherRealm and Amazon via Twitch but let's face it; Goro is what everyone was excited to see as the rest of the characters that are to be shown off for Mortal Kombat X will be coming in the next week leading up to the April 14th launch. That is if you don't think that there will be more surprises after Mortal Kombat X launches. While we didn't get a good breakdown of all of Goro's moves and variations in Mortal Kombat X, we did at least get their descriptions as well as a shit ton of gameplay showing off how Goro could be completely overpowered in Mortal Kombat X. The first bit of actual game play for Mortal Kombat X Mobile and details have been recently shown off We still have a little more time before we can dig into Mortal Kombat X Mobile. As of right now there has yet to be a release date for the free mobile title that will link into Mortal Kombat X proper but it has been stated sometime shortly after the April 14th launch of that title. What we do have though is a bit more on Mortal Kombat X Mobile and what we can expect to be different from the Injustice tie-in mobile game and this one. OnLive Is Shutting Its Doors But Sony Is Getting Some Goods
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Game streaming service OnLive is shutting down at the end of the month but Sony has purchased some of their tech for some reason Some of you may have heard of OnLive or maybe even used the video game streaming service over the last few years since its launch. For those not in the know OnLive was a cool litter service that allowed users to purchase and play PC games without the need for a high-end system to run the graphics at the best settings. I was lucky enough to have used some of their hardware in the past and while the controller to keyboard syncs were not always the best, the service was nice and it did what you were paying for. Sadly it wasn't as big of a hit as the company had wanted and will be shutting the service down on April 30th. Read More...

Almost All Of The Mortal Kombat X Characters Have Been Revealed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
In the latest Kombat Kast for Mortal Kombat X we were shown almost all of the characters and their variations The headline here may seem a bit odd as we do have our first full look at the Mortal Kombat X character select screen with no empty spots anymore. The roster has been fully shown here at least in the terms of core characters but as we all know, NetherRealm is working on DLC and hinted at other characters making a return to Mortal Kombat X as well. Would it be safe to assume that the DLC or other characters will show up as a second menu under Goro similar to Mortal Kombat 9? I mean they have to display them somehow right? Read More...

A new trailer for Grand Theft Auto V on the PC running at 60fps has been released for our viewing pleasure Just when you thought you've seen the best for Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar brings you back in. This time we have a nice long look at how the game is going to look when running at the best settings on the PC version of the game. I though the PS4 and Xbox One editions of Grand Theft Auto V looked out of this world but I am starting to see why PC gaming is such a huge thing. If only it wasn't so expensive and had some of our favorite franchises available. Read More...

Not Long Until Final Fantasy X/X2 Brings The Dress Sphere To PS4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We have a new trailer for Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X2's remastered edition coming for the PS4 this May It's been over a year since we had Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X2's HD remaster released on the PS3. Now we are about two months out from having the Dress Sphere gracing the PS4 with the HD remasters coming out this May. Square Enix sure knows how to keep a franchise rolling when it wasn't even supposed to exist well after the first title. I know I am glad for it but I wish it was an HD remaster of Final Fantasy VI instead but that is still a pipe dream for now… Anyways, we have a new look at the HD remasters for Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X2 for the PS4. It's Time To Meet The Briggs Family In Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Mortal Kombat X has been released and this one shows off Jackson and Jacqueline Briggs perfectly Either we have one crazy elaborate April Fool's joke for Mortal Kombat X or some European outlet released a new trailer for the game a little bit early. My bet is going on the latter here but you never know. What we do know is that the following trailer does officially show of Jax in action for Mortal Kombat X. Like I said, unless NetherRealm is running some huge joke here since we've already seen him in Kombat already then we can add one more to the already mind-bogglingly huge list of Kombatants for Mortal Kombat X. Looks Like There Are Bad Batches Of Antizin In Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Techland does April Fool's right with a nice little joke added in for Dying Light for the one day only Tomorrow is a date that I usually loath but it looks like Dying Light is going to be giving us all something to enjoy instead of the normal BS of April Fool's day. It looks like the next patch, which will be free to all for one day only, will completely alter some of the stats of your character in the game. It looks like instead of making some elaborate hoax, Techland is taking the joke and giving it to us in the way of crazy super-strength in Dying Light. Technically all of us can be superheroes in the game and not just bad-ass parkour runners. Read More...
