Call Of Duty
We've seen how deep the story of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 may be but in the latest developer breakdown it looks deeper than any Call Of Duty to date
We've seen the story trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 already and have had some time to digest it and get a feel for where Treyarch is going to be taking us into the future. It looks dark, depressing, filled with trickery, and just about what we have come to expect in a Call Of Duty title thus far. Although, in a recent video released by Activision for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 it looks like there may be something truly deeper, darker, and realistic coming to our PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on November 6th.
This to me doesn't sound all too new here given the research for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare but it looks like Treyarch is keeping the tradition going and looking into how our technology could end up screwing us over in Black Ops 3. Pretty much the same thing we are always afraid of when we see potential harms in the tools we create to help us all. You know; because no matter what in a Call Of Duty some evil genius will be able to amass a huge following and funds to turn the helpful tools into world dominating weapons to kill us all. Just as in real life…
The cool part here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 though is that Treyarch is claiming that the game's campaign mode will feel different, story-wise, for each player who takes the journey. Not to mention that there will be a new "Safe House" where all of the real world research and in-game reports can be viewed and listened to so those looking for more out of Call Of Duty than just a shooter have that option as well. There can be great story mixed into your FPS mayhem that a lot of gamers think that the franchise only is. At least I find it that way some times.
