The Sinking City Gets Even More Bizarre With New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Sinking City More gameplay for The Sinking City has been revealed out of E3 and it gives us a better look at the open world of The Sinking City and its weirdness If you felt that the last look we had at The Sinking City was a little on the light side of things, you were right and we feel you. It was short and sweet and did not truly give us all much more to look at for the game and what Frogwares has been putting into the game to give us that full Cthulhu feeling of things. I am not saying it has not been there before, but there has not been a solid look at it all for the public as of yet and I know many want more for The Sinking City. Read More...

New Gameplay For Metro Exodus Is Here To Explain Even More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Metro Exodus Even more gameplay for Metro Exodus is here from E3 and this bit explains a bit more than some of us did not get to experience in Metro Exodus so far If there is a true testament to how large the world of Metro Exodus and how vast the gameplay mechanics are in the game, it has to be with this latest showing of gameplay that we have here today. I was personally able to sit down and give the game a bit of a play a few weeks ago and see just what 4A Games had for us and, while impressed, apparently I missed out a whole lot given the different variations we all could have gone. That is why it is nice for Deep Silver to have a few more of these gameplay videos cut that highlight even more of the demo shown at E3 for Metro Exodus as I know I totally missed them all. ToeJam & Earl Will Be Back In The Groove This Fall
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
ToeJam & Earl After twenty-six year, ToeJam & Earl will finally be back and coming this Fall with their fourth title, ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove It has been quite some time since ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove was funded and had work started on it. It has been delayed and moved around a bit, but HumaNature Studios has been still working on it and aiming to get it to us as soon as possible. It was pushed back when Adult Swim was poised to publish it, but now it looks like they are out and the team is going to be self-publishing this ToeJam & Earl title all on their own. This also means that we have a more secure release window of Fall of this year now. Read More...

Review — Jurassic World Evolution
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Jurassic World We sit down and review Jurassic World Evolution. It is the park simulator we have all been asking for that can go horribly wrong. Here is our review of Jurassic World Evolution It seemed like it took way to long, but the park simulator we have all been waiting for is here with Jurassic World Evolution. At least the park simulator we have all be asking for since the first film released and gaming technology made it possible to do. I guess that is why Frontier Developments took control and put together a version of the Jurassic World IP to sate that want the gamers and film fans have been craving. Read More...

Agony Will No Longer Be Getting Its Unrated Version
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Agony After a lot of back and forth, it looks like Agony will no longer be getting an unrated version and there may be fewer updates for Agony in the coming weeks Well, it looks like we may not be getting that unrated version of Agony after all now. At least outside of the videos that Madmind Studios has placed out there to give us a look at how the game's story could have played out and looked in its raw form. It was never anything too crazy but it was a way to make sure we all saw the version of Agony they had planned for us. It is no more now as the studio has hit some financial woes and will not be bringing this path too us now. Read More...

Welcome To West Virginia Again For Fallout 76
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Fallout 76 A new cut of the Fallout 76 gameplay reveal from E3 is here and it gives us another look at the West Virginia of Fallout 76 and its creatures It is time to get excited and then let down a bit here for Fallout 76 as we do have a new trailer to look at for the game. It is a look at the West Virginia that Bethesda is putting together in the wastes of the franchise and how we will be interacting in it. Not too shabby. The letdown comes in now for those few out there who were under a rock when they showed us this version of the lands in Fallout 76 during their E3 media event. Read More...

Get Ready To Taste The Insanity Coming With The Sinking City
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
The Sinking City A new trailer for The Sinking City is here to give us a bit of a look at the madness within as well as a release date for The Sinking City One of the titles I was sorry to miss out on at E3 this year had to be The Sinking City. It may look and be another Lovecraftian story or tale to add into the mix of the many coming out, but it looks like Frogwares is crafting something many of us can get behind and see is truly weird out there. That and it looks like The Sinking City will be missing the mark of all of the other titles in the same vein by launching on March 21st of next year on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Thankfully it is also not another of those many February releases that are all the rage as of late. Read More...

Life Is Strange 2 Has A Release Date For The First Episode Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange The release date for Life Is Strange 2’s first episode has been set and we will be playing more than a demo for Life Is Strange 2 soon While we all may be playing the demo for Captain Spirit right now, we may have also missed that Life Is Strange 2 is heavily linked to it in some way and now we know that it will not be a huge wait to see how that is. That is, DontNod has not only released the new title there but also set down a firm release date for the first episode of the core game to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We can now look to September 27th to get the first episode of Life Is Strange 2 to carry on the story and see how this world is getting further expanded out there. Read More...

The Waters Of Hunt: Showdown Will No Longer Be Safe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Hunt New content for Hunt: Showdown is coming and there was a sneak peek of it all when Hunt: Showdown was presented at E3 Even more content is coming to Hunt: Showdown here in short order and we all had a nice little look at it during E3 here recently. That is at least if you watched the PC Gaming event that took place or any of the many Twitch streams that Crytek took part in during the event. If you missed out on those somehow, we have you covered as we have a look at a few of the new things coming to Hunt: Showdown in its Early Access form. Not only that, but what could be coming soon to this version of it and thus the PS4 and Xbox One after it has been put through the ringer on the PC. Read More...

E3 2018 Impressions — Just Cause 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Just Cause While at E3, I was able to see Just Cause 4 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Just Cause 4. One of the other many titles that could not be kept under wraps for E3 this year was Just Cause 4. Just before the main event kicked off, it was leaked out there that the game was coming but little of anything else. I am sure that Avalanche Studios was thankful for that as it allowed them to still cause a big splash during the show and get fans of the franchise all hyped up for the December 4th release date for the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It also made it easy for Square Enix to slide Just Cause 4 into all of its things out there as well as show a bit more to those of us who were able to go behind some closed doors out at E3. E3 2018 Impressions — Control
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Control While at E3, I was able to see Control in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Control. Another of the interesting titles that we saw get the reveal out at this year's E3 was Control from Remedy. It came at us all with a weird and unusual trailer, as was to be expected, and made a huge splash during the Sony conference where 505 Games opted to show it all off to the world. Maybe to hit home that their game was going to be on all platforms here or just the right place to unleash Control to the world. Either way, it was announced and slated to hit us in 2019 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

E3 Hands On — World War Z
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
World War Z While at E3, I was able to see World War Z in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on World War Z. Leading up to E3 this year there has been so very little shown or discussed for World War Z. It was teased back in December during the Game Awards, but since then there has not been much out of Saber Interactive on what the game will actually house and look like. I mean, it is a World War Z game so we can make easy assumptions as to what it would look like, but nothing much as to how it would actually play. That is why it was so very nice of them to bring it out to play during the show and give us all a better understanding of what the game will truly hold. Read More...

E3 Hands On — Overkill’s The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead While at E3, I was able to see Overkill’s The Walking Dead in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Overkill’s The Walking Dead. During all of the build-up to E3 we finally had a chance to see some of the gameplay we can expect for Overkill’s The Walking Dead. It was not much, but enough to give a feeling for where Starbreeze could be taking the game and I know I had many speculations on just where it would go. Speculation no more, though, as 505 Games brought me in to actually sit down and give this addition to the The Walking Dead universe that Overkill has been putting together. Read More...

E3 2018 Impressions — The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Captain Spirit While at E3, I was able to see The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit. Another of the outside the realm of the usual at E3 came The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit during the Microsoft media event and it is the bridge between the original Life Is Strange and the upcoming second full title in the franchise. DontNod is back at the helm for the franchise here and it looks like they also have Square Enix bringing it to us on June 26th on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. All for the low price of free, so we can eliminate the cost being a reason to skip out on this new narrative adventure. Read More...
