Devil May Cry
A full trailer for Devil May Cry 5 is here to give us more gameplay as well as a new song for Devil May Cry 5 that we have yet to hear
If you were watching The Game Awards then you most likely saw the latest trailer for Devil May Cry 5. Well, at least you may have seen part of the latest trailer as it was only a smaller clip of it all with only a few new bits of gameplay mixed in. Also it was there to help debut the new song that Capcom is using for the game to keep the action flowing high and keeping us all pumped up. All in the best way we have known Devil May Cry for a while now. With March 8th not too far off, we need to be there to be completely ready for the game to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Not a hard task at all.
Even though it is new gameplay for Devil May Cry 5, though, there are a few things that are not described or were glossed over in all of the fun gameplay we have. First, we get to see more of V in action and the new fighting style V brings to the game. V also has three different demons under control and for use that are somehow independent of each other in the game. You will see a bit of that here.
What you will not see is the Cameo System that the team has built in. At least not directly. This is a new system in Devil May Cry 5 that will make the single player world feel a bit fuller as you will see the other characters you are not currently playing doing things in the background. Things, if you are connected to the internet, which are being done by other players. If you are not online, it will be "ghost data" of the developers doing the same thing. Kind of a cool thing to keep the single-player going but add in an online component and such.
Devil May Cry 5 — Main Trailer
It’s showtime! Hot and fresh off The Game Awards, here’s the extended cut of our newest Devil May Cry 5 trailer, featuring stylish gameplay of all 3 playable characters (including the first ever public showing of V gameplay), the all-new cameo system, playable demo news, and a little teaser at the end!
Viewers of The Game Awards were also treated to the first details of the mysterious character V. V may appear weak next to Nero and Dante, but he has the ability to unleash a unique fighting style that sees him summon three different demons to assist in battle:
- Shadow – a swift, four-legged panther-like creature with savage agility that sees him change his shape into sharp blades and needles for perfectly executed close-range attacks
- Griffon – a bird-like demon possessing aerial combat skills which allows him to carry V across Red Grave City and shoot lightning bolts at enemies from up above
- Nightmare – the most powerful of V’s demons. Nightmare’s gigantic size sees him destroy enemies with just his basic attack, and he can also fire beams of light to destroy any approaching foes.
If you stuck around until the end of that video there, then you may have seen that the Bloody Palace will be back in Devil May Cry 5. Not at launch and there are no solid details from Capcom on what it will entail, but it will be a free update that will drop in April for those who want to further expand their game. Not too shabby for a free thing. Now you get one extra bonus for Devil May Cry 5 for sticking around here and that is one more song clip that is going to be in the game with a bit more gameplay. Have a look below and get ready for the game to drop.
Devil May Cry 5 — HYDE Collaboration
HYDE and Devil May Cry 5 are a miracle collaboration! HYDE produced the original song MAD QUALIA that she wrote herself for Devil May Cry 5! Here is a dark and stylish release of a part of that song!
