Resident Evil
New gameplay for the Resident Evil 2 Remake is here to bring those screenshots to life and show how more of Resident Evil 2 will changed up
Fresh on the heels of all of the other screenshots we have had for the Resident Evil 2 Remake comes some new gameplay to highlight all of the things we caught wind of before. It would have seemed like Capcom would have tried to get ahead of it all before, but here we are and now we get to see more of the game and the new gameplay features in action here. Those would be the new ability to play as Ada and Sherry in this Resident Evil 2 that we have heard of. Now we just get to see them mostly in action here as well as how those screens go into motion on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Unless things drastically change before January 25th.
The first clip we have here is more of Claire fighting off the Tyrant in multiple different locations. Things have changed a bit from the original Resident Evil 2 in style and motion, but the Tyrant is still unstoppable and an imposing being the game. I am digging the fact that it looks like the Tyrant will also take on random zombies in the game if they are in his way. You can kind of see it here in the video but it does look like it will be something featured in Resident Evil 2 now. Also, stay until the end to see a very short bit of Sherry in motion in the game. It is a very small tease though.
Resident Evil 2 Remake — Unstoppable Tyrant
His boots were made for stomping. See what it’s like to take on the Tyrant in this new gameplay video featuring Claire in Resident Evil 2! Can Claire put a halt to the unstoppable force? Plus, get a quick look at Sherry Birkin and the new Orphanage area.
The next clip shows how Leon and Ada will work together in this Resident Evil 2 Remake here. As you can see, they will team up and go through a few things, but Ada will have her own playable areas in the game. It does look like they will be a bit tamer in terms of horror, but that could just be how it is clipped here. It would also make a bit more sense as Ada would be more in the know for the events and know how to avoid them all. I guess we will know for certain when Resident Evil 2 launches though. For now we just get to speculate on what is going on based on the short videos here.
Resident Evil 2 Remake — Familiar Faces
Get a closer look at some of the familiar faces you'll see and sinister places you'll go as Leon attempts to survive the nightmare of Raccoon City, including gameplay featuring Ada Wong.
Are you glad to finally see these playable characters in motion for Resident Evil 2? Do you like how the Tyrant will interact in the game's world or would you rather him just be a juggernaut crashing through everything instead? Do you think that the Sherry and Ada portions will be breaks from the true horror of the game or will they be a break from the higher action we have seen? Let us know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on the Resident Evil 2 Remake, be sure to keep coming back here to see it all. I hope we have a lot more to share in short order.
