The First Hitman: Agent 47 Trailer Has Been Released
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of February 2015 - 08:02 PM ]
Hitman: Agent 47 is the reboot film for the franchise and we have the first trailer now and it looks rather good Before you get too excited Hitman: Agent 47 is not the title for the new Hitman title being made by Square Enix and Io Interactive. We still have some time to wait for that trailer. Hitman: Agent 47 is the new film for the franchise that is more of a re-boot to the cinematic universe for the Hitman franchise. You may or may not have heard of the film before now but if this is your first time hearing about it then you are in for a treat as the first trailer for the film has been released and we have it just a little bit further down the page. I won't hold you Hitman fans back any longer. Read More...

The Season Pass For Dying Light Has Been Detailed Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
All of the DLC in the Season Pass for Dying Light has been detailed with a few release windows added so you know who you spent the money Dying Light has been out and the tires have been kicked a bit more by the gaming community. Techland has addressed a few issues and are even trying to help the modding community with altering the game further for the PC. Not for those pesky PS4 and Xbox One players though but that is the troubles console players have to take. All of that said, that means it is DLC SEASON for Dying Light now that the developers can focus more there instead of on patching the game. Read More...

Shadow Realms Has Officially Been Canceled
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
It was announced today that Shadow Realms is being canceled so BioWare Austin can focus on other franchises and IPs including Star Wars If there has been a game as of late with many ups and downs in terms or cancellations it has been Shadow Realms. It is this fact that I personally have stayed a little guarded when it came to the game as rumors about cancellations of the project by BioWare and/or EA have been all over the place shortly after the official announcement near the end of last year. I am kind of glad that I kept myself a bit distanced from Shadow Realms now as the game has been officially canceled by BioWare Austin and EA. Sad news for some and kind of background noise for others who were like me and didn't get too close to have felt the horrible sting of the cancellation. Read More...

New Details On DmC: Definitive Edition's Vergil's Bloody Palace
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of February 2015 - 08:01 PM ]
DmC: Definitive Edition is getting Vergil's Bloody Palace mode and we have a few new details on what this mode will include for the DmC fans out there Apparently Vergil's Bloody Palace was one of the biggest requests that fans of DmC had for the DmC: Definitive Edition. Ninja Theory heard that request and it is in the game. This is not a huge secret as it was listed in the additions for the DmC: Definitive Edition coming to the Xbox One and PS4 on March 10th. There were just very few details if it was going to be more than just another character playing through the same mode that was already in the game to start with. Read More...

Review: Game Of Thrones — The Lost Lords
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Game Of Thrones — The Lost Lords. This is the second episode of Telltale's take on HBO's famed TV franchise. Here's our review on how they've done so far The release of Game Of Thrones — The Lost Lords has come and now we have Telltale's second episode for the six part story that links into the TV Show from HBO. The first episode was a bit on the slow side and stayed safe with all of the standards that have been set up via Telltale's normal storytelling structure but did this episode follow suit? Or did The Lost Lords break free of the iron bonds and give us something really new to experience with Game Of Thrones? Read More...

Mortal Kombat X Is Looking To Evolve The Online Play For The Franchise
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
New information for Mortal Kombat X's online play and meta-game have been revealed and looks like it will keep us all more kaptivated longer Back when Kung Lao was confirmed for Mortal Kombat X we caught a little bit of wind on the new online modes and factions for the game. There wasn't much to go on as it was more or less a footnote in the overall information release and all we knew was that there were five factions and you had to choose one at the start of Mortal Kombat X. The fact that all of your actions in single player and online play had an effect somehow wraps up all that we were given then. That was then and this is now and do we have a lot more to talk about these modes for Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp Has Its…Well…Slasher Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of February 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
Horror legend Kane Hodder has joined up to be the killer in Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp to kind of reprise his role from films I feel bad for just now catching wind of Summer Camp and its early development. I blame titles like Last Year and Until Dawn for taking the spotlight in the realm of classic horror film style games and Summer Camp falling through my cracks when it was announced last October. Especially now that I know that this is more or less going to have Jason in it even though it won't be by name. We will have the ability to control the movements from the man who made that role so iconic in Summer Camp on the PS4, XB1, and PC so we can look past the fact that there is a Friday The 13th game in the works for now. Dying Light Is Filled With As Many Easter Eggs As Zombies
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Dying Light Easter Eggs have been popping up all over the internet since its launch last week and here are some of the better ones Dying Light is full of all kinds of missions and things to experience. I played quite a bit of the game so we could bring you a great review to read and use as a deciding factor if you should give the game a play. In the process of it all though as I had to focus elsewhere I missed out on a lot of really cool little Easter Eggs that Techland placed in the mix of the core game. I feel bad and now need to replay Dying Light to go and find what else I may have missed but you don't have to as I've collected a couple of the cooler Easter Eggs that could go missed if you don't have all the time in the world to search the game's world or the internet. Review — Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of February 2015 - 10:02 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Dying Light. They've nailed the open world zombie game already but can they do it again? Here's Our Review Dying Light has been one of those most anticipated titles for 2015 and the time has come to see if Techland could hit another home-run in the zombie outbreak genre of video games. This time it not only builds off a formula that they set up but adds in the mix of parkour and a day/night cycle aiming to make Dying Light a truly horrifying, exciting, and story driven title that we all will want to play for days and nights to come. Did they hit the mark again or does Dying Light just keep the genre shuffling on? Read More...

Ready Or Not, Evolve Is Coming For Us All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of February 2015 - 06:01 PM ]
We have a new live action trailer for Evolve and it looks cool but has a creepy feel for those who may not know what the game is about Here we go with another live action trailer and this one is for Evolve. As would normally be the case I would harsh on a live action trailer here but for this game I'll give it kind of a pass as we have been inundated with gameplay and information for Evolve for so long. If you haven't seen any gameplay or even played the game slightly on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC then you most likely don't care about Evolve at all and clicked in here because you are doing a school report on evolution. Thanks for the click. Read More...

NightCry First Gameplay Looks Creepier Than The Short Film
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of February 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for NightCry has been added to the Kickstarter campaign by Nude Maker in the hopes to help fund the game more Last week we had a look at the live action trailer for NightCry, the Clock Tower spiritual successor, and it was okay. It was meant to help set the tone that Nude Maker is going for with NightCry. In my opinion it didn't do a great job as it felt like a really cheesy made for TV short film and nothing that could hold a candle to my memories of Clock Tower. Now we have the first bit of gameplay for NightCry and this is what they should have led with when starting up the Kickstarter for NightCry. Read More...

Game Of Thrones Episode Two Has Its Launch Trailer Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Game Of Thrones — Episode Two: The Lost Lords has its launch trailer released now just in time for the episode to hit our systems It feels like Telltale is a little off the ball when it has come to the next episode for Game Of Thrones. At least when you compare it to all of the other titles that they have released usually we have this kind of trailer the Thursday before a huge launch. Maybe they didn't want it to get lost in the myriad of Super Bowl ads over the weekend or maybe I am just skewed in my memory. It just seems odd for them to have their launch trailer hitting just like every other developer's launch trailers do. Read More...

Review — Saints Row IV: Re-Elected
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Saints Row IV: Re-Elected. Do the better graphics and hardware give the game new life? Here's Our Review Here we go again with another HD remastered title in the way of the Saints Row IV: Re-Elected edition. We rather enjoyed our first trip through Saints Row IV but seeing as it released a few months before the next gen consoles launched it kind of missed that whole audience and technological advances. I guess that is why Deep Silver and Volition wanted to make sure we all got a chance to fully experience the game they wanted to make. Well, we gave it a try and we'll see if Saints Row IV: Re-Elected is worth the money for the latest edition and new audience; also if there is something early adopters missed out on the first time in 2013. We Have A New White Night Coming Into The Gaming Mix
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of February 2015 - 06:01 PM ]
White Night, a new survival horror title from OSome Studio, has been announced and is coming to the PS4 in March and other platforms in April Some of you may have heard of White Night as it was technically announced back in 2013 during the Game Connection Europe show. Don't feel bad if you haven't heard of the game though as it was only really shown to the press and potential publishers for the title. Yea, White Night kind of had a small announcement back then even though it did win a few small awards but we can treat this new trailer below as the official announcement for the game. A nice, new take on the survival horror genre using a black and white theme coming to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux operating systems. Read More...
