Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion Brings The High Seas To Us This Spring

Adventure Time

A new Adventure Time game has been announced and heading to the high seas this time with Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion coming this Spring

I hope you are ready for more adventure and more pirates as Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion has been announced and coming to our PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in Spring of 2018. This is not a continuation of the past games as Climax Studios and Outright Games are aiming to take us to the land of Ooo again with an original story and adventure. Not only that, but in a nice 3D version of Adventure Time where we will get to play as Finn, Jake, BMO, and Marceline in this new open-world title. Do not worry that it will feel like a break from what we know in terms of animation though as it looks like they are aiming to do the same thing that Telltale has done and give us a 3D world but using the 2D animation styles of the cartoon. I am sure it can be done well.

As far as further information for Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion, it is few and far between. There will be a tactical combat system of sorts in the game all to make sure you get the most out of the hero progression system that will be built in. That is all that we have here for the game in terms of mechanics and gameplay, but at least we have a whole lot of new screenshots from the game to look at. This way we can see just how that animation style will look and be ready for it. Like I said, it looks like they have it down pretty well for now. Let us just hope that the actual gameplay works as well as it all looks.

Prepare to plunder or walk the plank in the new game Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, launching in the spring of 2018.

In this brand-new, hilarious Adventure Time story, gamers play as Finn, Jake, Marceline, and BMO to explore fan-favorite kingdoms, and meet the well-loved characters from Cartoon Network’s popular TV animation series.

The game starts with a flooded Land of Ooo, in which familiar kingdoms are cut off from each other by rising waters. In their newly constructed boat (hold that thought*) Finn and Jake set sail to investigate what the junk went down.

During their adventures Finn and Jake will recruit friends to join their crew, jump into swashbuckling fights, interrogate characters for clues, and traverse the new and dangerous sea to locations across Ooo.

If you are a true Adventure Time fan and want to leave a mark on Pirates Of The Enchiridion, Outright Games is running a "Name The Boat" contest on their site. It is pretty much as it sounds and fans will be able to submit boat names for Jake's boat in the game. They will then take the top four and place them out there for fans to vote on. The highest voted name will land itself into Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion and that fan can have some pretty solid bragging rights. So get those thinking caps turning so you may get this amazing chance.

Are you glad to see that we are getting another Adventure Time game in the mix? Do you think that the combat will be a turn-based style like we have seen in other RPG-ish titles or will it be something we have never seen before? Do you think that going to the land of Ooo in 3D will play off well? Let us all know down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion, be sure to stick around here. We will keep the updates for the game flowing out there and you do not want to miss a single morsel of it all.
