Hades Fight!!!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of February 2009 - 04:46 PM ]
First Real God Of War III Details A little while back a cover shot of the new Game Informer magazine was 'leaked' onto the net. Well not really leaked, but more given to tease the big article in the magazine, God of War III. One of the more anticipated games in my opinion. No it is not a humble one. So you can guess it has been much waited for, the new Game Informer. Well someone has received their copy early and decided to post scans of it on line. Read More...

After the layoffs at 1UP.com and EGM a couple weeks ago, many wondered what the future would hold for the 40 some employees now without jobs. Fortunately for many of them, they banded together to start various new projects. As one of their fans, I've had the chance to witness and experience these new projects, and here is the basic rundown. Rebel FM&Eat-sleep-game.com: Former staffers Anthony Gallegos, Nick Suttner, Phillip Kollar, and others bring you the first project. Read More...

Halo Recon Gets a New Name, No New Info.
by Sam [ Wednesday, 26th of November 2008 - 12:36 AM ]
As of today, Bungie announced that Halo 3: Recon will now be known as Halo 3: ODST, meaning Oribtal Drop Shock Trooper, the center character for the game.     "If you recall, this is our recently announced stand-alone extension to Halo 3 that features an all new campaign played from the perspective of an ODST in the heart of a Covenant occupied New Mombasa. In addition to sleuthing around the city and piecing together the details surrounding your squad's whereabouts, the game will also include some new Halo 3 multiplayer content as well as one or two unrevealed surprises when it's released next Fall. This new title is a more straightforward account of the experience that awaits and the role you will assume as you explore the streets of New Mombasa. Read More...

Soul Calibur IV DLC
by Jesse [ Friday, 24th of October 2008 - 04:23 AM ]
This week the rumors have finally come to pass. Both Darth Vader and Yoda who were originally released as “console exclusive characters” have been made available for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Sadly the price seems a little steep as Vader who first made his appearance on the PS3 is know downloadable on the 360 for the cost of 400 Microsoft points (or $5.00) and Yoda who appeared on the 360 can be downloaded off the PlayStation Store for the price of $4.99. Call of Duty 5 Beta
by Robert [ Thursday, 16th of October 2008 - 05:50 PM ]
Ok, so I was lucky enough to receive a Call of Duty 5 beta invite!!!! (aka I just joined the COD website a few days before the beta opening) There isn't too much to say about Call of Duty 5, it's basically just Call of Duty 4 with a different look... errr era. In the beta you get to play 3 maps multi-player, Roundhouse, Castle, and Makin. All 3 maps are awesome. Castle is alright, it's pretty much just a Japanese castle that has quite a few buildings to run throughout, and it looks pretty. Read More...

Ratner Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of October 2008 - 05:37 PM ]
Brett Ratner Signs On For God Of War Movie Yesterday, it was announced that the man behind the last X-men movie and Rush Hour 3 has signed on to direct the God of War film. Now I know what you are thinking, "There goes another great game ruined by a film." I know I thought it at first as well. Especially looking at the last films directed by the man. But then I started thinking further, a stretch I know, and came to another conclusion. It isn't all just down to him. Read More...

[XBox 360 Review] Pirates Vs Ninjas Dodgeball
by Michael Camacho [ Tuesday, 30th of September 2008 - 03:19 PM ]
I will be one of the first to admit that when I heard about Pirates vs. Ninja Dodge ball, I was genuinely intrigued and interested.  Unfortunately, the game is very quick to disappoint on any expectations you may have had.  Which is unfortunate, as this game could have been a very fun Xbox Live Arcade title. The game, as the title suggests, features Pirates and Ninjas playing dodge ball against each other, as well as Robots and Zombies. It has 3 different modes in Singleplayer, Multiplayer and Co-op, each of which has its own game types. Read More...

CoD4 For Mac Review
by Andy [ Tuesday, 30th of September 2008 - 04:28 AM ]
As you may have read here before, Call of Duty 4 was coming to the Mac. All this time, the release date was constantly pushed back, frustrating us mac users. So now the time has come that you can now have CoD4 for the mac, and I must say it is just as good as I would of hoped it would be. You are able to download the game or purchase the actual game itself. There is quite a bit of controversy around the DRM that Aspyr has implemented. At first glance, 54. Read More...

Now That's Epic
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of September 2008 - 10:18 PM ]
God Of War III And It's 120 Page Dialog Script This was kind of a cool and fun read to find on Gamasutra's site. Partly because it is all about one of my favorite games and anticipated game of '09. God of War III just to be clear on that. Most of the article is about how they are going to the voice acting for the game, and it is a pretty interesting and an industry first. According to the article, I wasn't able to fact check. Pretty much, instead of using the standard to collect assets, they are using a method used for film and TV. Read More...

by Michael Camacho [ Thursday, 4th of September 2008 - 10:03 PM ]
Time to hang up the Madden cleats, stop the treasure hunting in Too Human, and find your save point in Tales Of Vesperia, as it's time to go back to once again answer your Call Of Duty.  Fourzerotwo, an Infinity Ward spokesman, says they're bringing back the double XP for the weekend of September 13th & September 14th for Xbox Live and Playstation Network.  So get those guns cleaned, locked, loaded and kick the safety off, as it's time to start climbing the ranks with ease and quickness. If you want to take a nice break from the XP whoring in CoD4, we will be holding our Gears Of War Gaming Night from 7pm - 8pm EST. Read More...

New COD4 Game Modes?
by Robert [ Wednesday, 16th of July 2008 - 08:50 PM ]
402 announced a few days ago that this weekend IW will be testing out new game modes... none of them are very creative like 402 was hinting towards.   Bare-Bones Team Deathmatch No more excuses. No more blaming Martyrdom or Juggernaut for your lack of skills and kills. Bare Bones Team Deathmatch eliminates the excuses and takes it back to basics with standard Team Deathmatch with no perks, no kill streak rewards. Just you, your skill, and your weapons.   It has potential, a lot of people complain about perks (fucking juggernaught). Read More...
