Take2 interactive announced yesterday that they will be releasing Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the iPhone and iPod touch. With the release of the game on Nintendo DS, and PSP in late October, it’s no surprise that they are developing for the iPod touch/iPhone which is quickly becoming the next generation portable gamer system.
I remember playing the original grand theft auto, and this new version is very reminiscent of that. The top-down, open-world style game play is really bringing back the roots of the original Grand theft auto.
